Benchakitti park is a great park. Taking a walk around the lake is great at sunset. Lumpini and Chatuchak park are also worth visiting as they have more shade trees than Benchakitti

This video was a nice change of pace. How ironic & genius turning an old tobacco factory into a park. Now I understand why it's referred to as 'The Lungs of Bangkok'. Maybe the amphitheater could hold gladiator games or bull fights. LOL

No, the lungs of Bangkok is called Bang Krachao. It is a called the Green Lung and is about 5 kilometers south of Benjakiti Park.
The last 2 times I was in Bangkok I stayed at the Park Plaza Hotel, 2 minute walk to Benjakitti Park and 5 minutes to T21
