I would definately like that but I'd like to do it from the back seats with the doors open for filming and hanging "out". lol
As long as I was strapped in and it wouldn’t really bother me if the door was open, it would have the same effect on me, I’m still going to die if it crashes
the smile after (not before) you landed was genuine 🤣
All I was thinking was if it crashes now will I survive. As it got about five met of the floor I got the feeling I probably would.
That looks like fun. I will have to consider that next time I visit. I was in a helicopter once, do not remember being nervous but it was a long time ago.

If I had been there I would have been in the back asking if I could open the windows and then hanging out of one to get better video... Do I detect Balloon-chasers mean-streak surfacing here? Surely best view was the lady next to you. First time I ever flew was Heathrow to Kennedy in a 747, got picked up and taken across New York to Laguardia airport to fly upstate in a private Piper Navajo ( 10 seater ). They said it was the first time they had actually seen a person turn green. Good job great video.

Looks like a great trip. I'd been wondering why noone had started that service yet. Tara and I will definitely add that to our to do list next trip. After spending plenty of time in Army aircraft its good to take a birds eye view of the area....without getting shot at. Beautiful machine too. GLad to see ya did it.

@@LePubPattaya only had 3 or 4 actually hit that I was in. Its a slim chance but the thought of getting a random round in the rump was in my head.

Neither really, as soon as I saw it advertised, I just wanted to give it a go. So I guess it was impulsive, but I had to be on a waiting list to get on.

After I put the video up, the Helicopter people said they would’ve given me a ride for free, but I definitely pay for it and don’t really do videos where I get freebies. Yes, it is expensive, but memories will last a lifetime.

As soon as I saw that lady, who I don’t know, I felt exactly the same. Who goes in a helicopter in high heels. But she looked fantastic and was very very polite and kind.
I have had 2 helicopters rides. 1st one was in late 90's on a Medivac copter while on a volunteer fire dept. Short ride no charge a part of training. 2nd 1 on a cold snowy day in Dec 2020 as patient being transferred to UIHC for treatment for about 40 minutes. Cost $33,000.
Quite a difference in the two. I hope you enjoyed the experience.
1st one was a good experience. 2nd was for a major medical issue that required 4 days in the hospital. When we landed at 4 am in the morning it was -15 F in Iowa City, IA

As much as I love Thailand, over the years I've witnessed many instances where safety standards aren't always as high as they could be. Not sure I'd feel entirely comfortable riding in a helicopter unless I was 100% sure maintenance was conducted properly.
I’m definitely with you on that, but I was quite impressed with the whole operation here.
