I just came out of a 5 year relationship where I was extremely dependent on the other. From my experience I found that it was easier to get through the day by finding friends with similar hobbies and that I can spend time with. I used to coop up in my room and just sit on my game, but moving around and just physically being in their presence can help you significantly. Also good video lol
thank you so much. my mentality just overall isn't good. I have really bad depression and anxiety but I am taking it day by day and I do see it as an accomplishment. I will start going out more and being more productive because back home, I know that did help a lot.
This is how boot camp works. Keep your mouth shut. Do everything they tell you. Pay attention. And keep your boots polished. You'll do just fine.
Your very pretty. Don’t focus on friends or relationships or let anyone other individual fuck up your vibe. There’s a lot of immaturity in the military with there little kid personalities And there’s a lot of young people who just want to live life with no strings attached. Enjoy yourself and build yourself up to be a independent women.. focus on just that don’t worry about other people and there negativity, don’t worry about relationships, don’t even worry about family to much. This is your time to grow and be whatever you wana be. Don’t let alone time be such a bad thing. With a lot of alone time comes a lot of great things. If you apply that time on working on yourself to be the best you.
This just gave me reassurance. I know I am going be loving phase 2 & phase 3 ooowww.
You are so beautiful, you went thru what you had to for a reason. Realize that you have God by your side always which should fill that void of loneliness. You are strong chica fasholy, knowing you have yourself at the end of the day and your reason for enlisting should help you make it thru🙏🏾🤞🏾💗

Informative video. Maybe a little TMI , but i applaud your candidness . I’m shipping on March 15 🤞🏾 after 4 years of different hurdles trying to get my foot into the navy. Joy wouldn’t feel so good if their wasn’t any pain, keep your head up stay focus on your personal goal & let that be your motivater through the dark times. You wouldn’t be where you are if you wasn’t able to push yourself as far as you did, keep that shit in mind you got this. Stick your chest out keep your head up & knock down each obstacle 1 @ a time 🙏🏾 you got this . I’m going in as “AS” so I too will have my own share of experiences for A school Down in Pensacola . I’m not sure if it is true, but my recruiter told me the vaccine is no longer mandatory
its not and on the other comment you are able to talk to other recruits just not in front of the rtc's from my knowledge
During the screening process once arriving at boot camp. Do they still do dental work on the recruits?

Currently studying for the asvab math. Getting a tutor so i can pass and join the navy already. Im 22yrs old and im so anxious. I want to leave already but this damn test is holding me back

When did you get calls and stuff in basic training? I’d love to hear more about that, my boyfriend just left for navy basic training and it’s been hard to know what he’s doing, when I will get in contact, etc. I loved hearing your story and this has put me at ease with him being away
So the first call is right when he gets to the base. The second is after p days which depends on if he will be quarantined or not. If he is it will probably be like 3 weeks from when he gets there. The thirds call is after 4 weeks from p-days and the last one is about 2 or 3 days before graduation

Yes just look at the benefits in all branches n make sure it best suits you.
Girllll so how long can we see our parents after bootcamp ?
It all just depends. Usually it’s only for that one grad day then you leave the next but we didn’t leave till Monday so we were able to spend the whole weekend with them.

Colors is the ceremony when they put up the flag in the mornings and take it down in the evenings

I heard you had to quarantine for two weeks, so if you come already vaccinated then you only have to quarantine for 5 days? or did you just get lucky?
If you are already vaccinated you will not quarantine I was just unlucky.

A school was a blast, super easy if you pay attention and actually study what the instructors give you. All the instructors and mentor are so nice n great. DO NOT get in a relationship and do not get with the wrong crowds. I made those mistakes and I’m in my deepest stage of depression. I was so close to quitting last minute but I’m still pushing. Just got to my c-school today and not going well so far. But I think you’ll have fun in a school. Also definitely go to wild Greg’s. Amazing bar!

@@allthingsvictoria I’m a bit older so I’m definitely with the mindset of get in and do what I need to do, not there to make friends and stuff. Sure acquaintances but not friends and relationships since obviously we constantly get moved.

It depends on your job, because A school is based on certain job types. Like for example my A school is in Mississippi which I think is Personnel Specialists, Logistic Specialists, etc. and I know two girls in aviation going to Pensacola for A school.

Right now while I’m in a school and c school we r in barracks. Now when you go to your ultimate command, when you get your orders, it will tell you if you will be on a ship or on land

No si we still have the 1.5 mile run and after bootcamp if you can’t run then you can like get on the bicycle to replace the running I believe
Just curious, how many people are you allowed to invite for graduation?
If the COVID rule is still up then only 2 ppl can go but have to wear masks
@Ainsley Radbourne, there is currently no mask mandated in boot camp and those attending graduation. The change happened last month, March 7th… and guest attending PIR is currently two people, but on May 6th RTC is allowing four guests again 👍
how long is school for ?
It depends on your rate. For an avionic rate meaning working on Jets it’s usually about 2-3 months for a-school n 2 months for c-school but your there for longer because it also depends when you get classed up or in other words how long it takes for them to put you in a class n how long it takes for them to send you to the next place
