Comparing and contrasting Mahomes and Allen in this game, Buffalo scored 21 points off of chiefs defenders blown coverage/falling down/running into one another. Mahomes had to earn all his points, there were no blown coverages or Bills defenders falling down when Mahomes scored.
yeah acting like Allen doesn't have weapons is a bit silly. not to discount Allen at all, but i agree, Mahomes had to work harder for his points. the Chiefs secondary was falling apart by that 4th quarter. while Hill and Kelce are obviously stupid good, Alex Smith couldn't get this consistent success with the Chiefs and HE also had Hill and Kelce, so obviously there's something about Mahomes that's unique.

Nope! Me & my buddies were watching the dim breaking it down. It was just like last year. Mahomes did exactly what he did last year only he had full mobility and was able to run this year.. He forced their defense to have to play homest man coverage football and we got to see who QB1 really was all along.
Tyrann & Rashad are in that game, thereâs a lot more frustration on 2nd & 3rd downs. Especially inside 20 yds Honey badger lives in that area.

SAS is missing a key ingredient to Allen's success, and that was Gabe Davis. Gabe made a fool out of KC's DB's FOUR times. Not like he beat them on the run only, but shook a dude out of his ankles and had him on the ground and he set an NFL record. Like, you talking to one of the reasons Aikman was so successful. You need horses. Can we just accept the fact that these two are special talents, and we're in for a treat for the next couple of years?
The fact your comparing gabe Davis who nobody even knew before yesterday to Travis kelce and tyreek hill who are two of the most talented players at their position in history is so so sad. Give josh Allen tyreek hill and travis kelce with a hof coach and home field advantage and a winning coin toss and letâs see whoâs better. Everything was against josh Allen this game

I would give pause to say EVERYTHING was against the man. up until about 13 seconds left, he had the Chiefs beat. I'm not saying he didn't fight and claw his way to a win, but it was equally as challenging for Mahomes. Is all I'm saying. I don't think either player played better or worse than the other. They both had challenges and overcame them in exceptional ways. I don't agree with SAS on his point.
Sas literally contradicted himself saying every single play Allen made was all him, but then comes right back and says the move Davis made was nice. Davis and Hill both made exceptional plays for their respective teams, so did Mahomes and Allen all game đ€·đŸââïž

Jordan didn't win championships without having a great supporting cast and a great coach. I believe Mahomes is in a similar situation here in the NFL. He was Andy Reid's magic piece of the puzzle.
Jordan was great without them. He was already an mvp and considered in the game Mahones came in a perfect situation. If Jordan had walked in a team that was set up to win he would have won at least 10 championships

Also... I shouldn't have compared an NBA player to an NFL player... 2 completely different sports. There are more pieces in play in an NFL game then compared to a NBA game. A NBA player has to play both Offense and Defense while a NFL player typically only has to play one or the other. Mahomes has both the athleticism and the intelligence for his chosen profession. Jordan was also super athletic and super intelligent for his chosen sport. Both have a strong will to win the game.

If the Bills defense hadn't allowed the Chiefs receivers to have clean releases, it might have been a different outcome. Great game regardless. But I will say I do miss the days when defenses were actually a part of the game.
Jimmy Garoppolo will always throw that one interception near out of the bounds because he can't make up his mind whether to throw to the receiver or throw it out of bounds. It's the in-between that then leads to a pick.
