I think you'll find the bead breaker will work better for you if you mount in on the inner most hole instead of the outter most hole.

BBQ tire, works every time. Had a riding mower tire went out of air and unseated bead, sprayed some starter fluid around it and lighted up, worked like a charm.

Does this hurt the actual tire at all? I want to paint my rims but still put the original tires back on

No not at all. I would put reference marks on the tires and wheels so you mount them back on the same wheels in the same orientation so they have some chance at being balanced

the bar bent because its made from tube, it should be pipe.
I bought a heavier duty version from amazon, $85 , much heavier grade everything.
HF footings are bent sheet metal, the heavier grade machines use hot rolled C channel, much heavier and beefier.
Considering this tool pays for itself, HF is poor economy. See the video I made.

What size is a 40 inch tire. My rim size is 19 inches. Do you mean that its a 40 inch rim?

I’m talking about outside diameter of the tire, could be any rim size, for instance a 40x15.5 r17 would be 40” tall, 15.5” wide on a 17” rim

Got it lubed up good with soap? Also if you push the opposite side of the tire deeper into the center of the wheel you’ll get a little more room to pop the last couple inches on. The center of the wheel is generally narrower

great video.going to have to get a tire changer,discount tire gang raped me the other day,the y charged me $21 dollars a piece to mount and not balance 2 trailer tires i bought from them.i even took them off the trailer for them.i feel so violated.
