I have this DSP. Getting ready to upgrade the audio in a Toyota Highlander. I wish I knew if it was true 85W per channel. The plan is to go 3-way active front with the midbass bridged 5/6 and 7/8. Then run the sub out to a 10" sealed subwoofer in the rear.
Hi What frequency are you running those subs. I have the same setup having a hard time to get this tune, right?
Are those amps plug and play?
yes sir
i was going to buy this very same f8.9, seemed like a deal breaker. now i read in forums that it has problems in countries with cold weather. might be a payed indian or chinese guy to make anti-audison/hertz claims on the internet (thats the usual game). im so interested to get this 9 channel toy for big boys. full active in car with a sub out...what u need more? u could even do 3 way in front with 2 passive doors on the rear....no need for 12 or 14 channels...overkill...any ideas on their reliability?
It have problems with cold weather, just follow the specs, did you read the owers manual? Why do you think audison engineers have specified operating range 0 degree - 55 degree? Audison and hert is an italian company(Eletrommedia), they have more gentle weather. It's not a paid chineese or indian guy :)))..oh gosh... I've replied you on top. But to your question: I have 3 way front(audison voce full): Audison AV6.5 woofers + AV1.1 twitters + AV3.0 mids), 2 pssive doors back in rear(APK165P) + 1 sub APBX AS2. They sound nice but when F8.9 died, I've added 2x alpine X-A70F + 1 Helix Dsp. Holy crap! Now this is power!!!, audison dsp was not even comparable with the power of 2x X-A70F. next time, I will also tend to chose different speakers, I am not sure if it will be better but I will try to see on my next car because I already spent lot of money on this setup.
@@cristiand2398 what do you think of matchup 8 dsp? Its similar spec to f8.9... 850 euros made in germany...
@@cristiand2398 ure the same guy who has commented on two forums about problems with cold weather. Where do u live?
i think you are payed to talk trash against audison. i never used audison but you are the only one in the internet complaining about this. i read your comment on two other forums coming on old threads about the ap f8.9 and u are wrong. i will buy this or the match up 8 dsp. @@cristiand2398
From operating temp range, I see -40° C to +70° C, a definitely something nice to have. Regarding functionality, I cannot say since I do not have it. @@GuitarTherapy144

We have a new video coming out with the Audison you will see the true sound soon enough! thanks for watching!
You understand that recording all that bass just drowns out the music? It makes Audison sound like crap. I’m not convinced.
@ryanb8736
Hey sorry about that my mic was messed up - new at CZcams but will improve! Thanks for the feedback!
It died right after one year and 8 months. Just don't buy this crap. I spent a lot of money on it and I had higher expectations. I did some research on the interned and others have the same issue.
I can appreciate your comment, however your equipment should be under warranty. Audison is incredible equipment, and they stand behind their warranties. If you need any help call me 440 525-2001 i can look into replacements for you.
this guy commented the exact copy paste comment on another video. indian callcenter much? what a troll.
What is wrong with that? I want the entire world to know and think twice about it when they think to purchase this, unfortunately I did not know and I wish to knew about, someone to tell me. They ripped me off 1000E but no problem, world would know about. What would you do when you pay this money and the seller does not care about you? It seems these days it is a new business model, you pay a lot of money and you get a warranty of 2 years for a thing that do not last more? Sir..we have a problem.
@@cristiand2398 what issue did u have, why did it die?
@@GuitarTherapy144 outside was around -5 degree, started my car to go at work in the morning and surprise: no audio at all, I was thinking that maybe my head unit remote signal is lost. I had to remove my panels from the car, remote signal good, fuses good for both dsp and main power source, F8.9 is dead. I tooked dsp out from my car to test it with an independent power source, left it first for few hours in normal temp(~23 degree) and then tested it again: definitely dead. I replaced it with two alpines amplifier and a helix dsp, indeed the cost was higher, they work very nice, let's hope they will last more. Now it's spring, I will like to see how it goes next winter.
