I hate having the brake pedal as the kill switch for the remote start. Instead I like having the shifter locked if there is no key present. And having the brake wire connected to the reverse wire for backup. The reason is because I’m always stepping in the brake pedal before inserting and turning the key and the engine dies. So the way I do it, I can step on the brake pedal all I want and the engine wont die and I’m also not able to get it out of park until I insert the key. If someone would get in my truck and manage to get it out of park then the engine will die as soon as the shifter passes through reverse. It’s pretty neat.

I have a 23 Silverado zr2, would I need to modify or remove the underseat storage compartment that it has to install this box?

I have this DSP. Getting ready to upgrade the audio in a Toyota Highlander. I wish I knew if it was true 85W per channel. The plan is to go 3-way active front with the midbass bridged 5/6 and 7/8. Then run the sub out to a 10" sealed subwoofer in the rear.

It's a 986 not a 983 .....

Whats the chances one of these makes it so your truck turns off at idle. Ive done everything i can think of. My truck has one if these systems in it and it looks like some of the wiring has freid. Truck runs and drives you shake that box or the little clear thing and it shuts down and won't start
