    I have a SUPER73 Malibu and have been riding for a year without a helmet. Pulled out a retro on and as expected the foam fell apart. Bought this one before reviews and after watching your review it’s nice to find one that is relatable to 30mph e bike. Great review, thanks for the video!

    Great review! I got this helmet for my Boosted Board and I love the light weight and snug fit!

    I got this helmet for freestyle bmx since I got back into it at age 30, I used to wear full face back when I was a teenager. Full face are supposed to be snug fit that what a lot of reviewers dont get on amazon

      kobEVision a lot of people saying order size up so I ordered a small instead of medium and good I did because the medium will be wiggling around and wouldn't protect my head and face as much.

    I got a dot motorcycle helmet the round type I have a small head I got the medium it is a little tight ..I never wore it yet but the padding will loosen up after a while.

    Thanks for the upload. You'll have to let us know if it interferes with your peripheral vision while riding.
    Another consideration is you will likely be sweating in that thing. Can the padding be removed for cleaning?

      @smidgelife  Před 6 lety +1

      Good questions the visibility is still good; you see the edge but its really not bad at all. Removable, washable helmet liner.

      Mark Evans the helmets awesome but I had a random crash because my specialized (my bikes brand) chain got jammed or something and I got thrown sideways I didn’t need the helmet because I slid about 30 feet on my Mountain pack only injury I had was a little cut in my ankle but again I was on a paved path going home and for how fast the crash was and how fast I hit the ground I’m super glad I had the pack on saved me a super bad back road burn but the helmet didn’t even touch the ground which I guess is also lucky didn’t scratch the paint.

      @@Lumberbutton Do you guys honestly think this helmet will protect you in an accidental fall going 28mph (or faster)? I'm just asking because this helmet is certified for bicycles and not electric anything. Would this helmet be sufficient protection for speeds between 20-30mph?

    • @Lumberbutton
      @Lumberbutton Před 4 lety

      @@jessa.3857 You're only ever going to sustain those speeds intermitently. With that being said with my limited googling the benefit you get from this helmet vs a normal bike helmet is that it will protect your face and teeth. A motorcycle helmet would be way too tiring if you expect to be doing any peddling.

    Typical bike helmets are just silly looking. Styrofoam with a bunch of holes cut out. Every time that I see one it reminds me of a bunch of bananas on someones' head. Ya gotta admit they look ridiculous. Strapping on some painted foam just doesn't seem safe for your noggin. Full-face is the way to go if your planning on riding faster than two M.P.H.

  • @o0xjaymex0o
    @o0xjaymex0o Před 5 lety +1

    I finally got mine and I'm incredibly disappointed! To say its very well made is a long stretch, I'm sorry. The material feels like bubblegum machine toy plastic, its really bad. I'm scared to use it because I dont want a shard of busted plastic embedded in my skull because I know its not going to hold up. There is virtually no inner padding either. I even got the MIPS version too. Its a really cheap poorly made helmet. You can find Fly helmets for less that are a lot better made than these and Fly is complete garbage too. I'm definitely sending mine back asap.

    • @o0xjaymex0o
      @o0xjaymex0o Před 5 lety

      @@smidgelife Its like a cheap Walmart Bell helmet but without the hard foam. It would actually be better off with hard foam, thats how much padding is lacking inside thos helmet. Absolutely pointless to even provide MIPS.

    • @o0xjaymex0o

      @@smidgelife Its probably the meanest looking helmet I have seen that's not too far out there and the gimmicks are actually pretty cool for once. Its a really big shame it's so cheaply made. I just gotta drop my opinion here being this review is what compelled me to buy it.

      Also wanna do yourself a favor and get the team visor. The one provided is total garbage and they obviously cooked up some scheme to get you to spend more money by making you pay for the real visor.
