DENNIS DAY, former Disney Mouseketeer and current resident of Phoenix, OR, has been missing from his home since mid-July 2018, despite the best efforts of the Phoenix Missing Persons Dept. to locate him.
Day, an original Mouseketeer from 1955 - '57, was a veteran actor and longtime member of the original California Renaissance Pleasure Faires and Dickens Christmas Fair. He disappeared from his home on July 15th, after his husband, Ernest Caswell, was hospitalized in Medford. Telling Ernie that he was going to visit friends, he uncharacteristically left his dog in the care of a temporary housemate and has not been seen since.
Sometime after Dennis' departure, the family car also disappeared and was found July 26th on the Oregon coast, being driven by persons unknown to Day's friends. The driver told police that Day had given them permission to use it. No forensic evidence was found in the vehicle to suggest any struggle or foul play had occurred.
Day's hundreds of friends from his Faire days, as well as his more recent Oregon neighbors & friends, are extremely concerned; Dennis is well-beloved. His husband, who suffers from a degree of age-related memory loss, still misses and mourns him.
Anyone who has any knowledge of Dennis Day's movements or whereabouts is asked to contact Lt. Price of the Phoenix Missing Persons Dept. 541-535-1113 ext 309.

Dennis was my ballet and tap dance teacher when he had his dance studio in Montebello. He was a wonderful man, so kind and patient. He's an angel now.
Hello 👋, how are you doing??
R.I.P. Dennis. I always liked him on the show. Too bad he didn't stay for season 3.
I first met Dennis way back in 1971, at the Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco. The charm and talent that shine through in his youthful performances as a Mousketeer had matured by then, but he retained a joy for life and an impish sense of humor that totally captivated his audiences. Throughout the 1970's, Dennis was a part of my life, and although I drifted away from the Faire, I've never forgotten him. I'm hoping that he'll return to Ernie. Please, if you know anything, contact the Phoenix, OR, missing persons line in the description above. We love you, Dennis!
Hello 👋, how's your day going so far?
Awww, and hopefully he's safe. I believe he's an underrated performer, and he deserved better. May he be remembered.
Sadly no. They found his body

the police finally gotten the guy who murder Dennis, just saw the person on yahoo news
@@Explore531 yes Larry just heard the news on the radio in New York.. they said that when they found his body they notice it has been abused.. Citing the guy they arrested for the abused must have been a horrible experience for Dennis.😢
Oh I hope he's safe. Remember seeing him at The Mickey Mouse 40th Birthday celebration. Then seeing him at Dickens Christmas Fair. He was such a wonderful man. I hope he is found safe and that he still is alive and that he will be found very soon.
Thank you for making this wonderful video!
May Dennis Day always Rest In Peace forever.

Hello 👋, how are you doing??
Nice video Dennis was of the best
Wonderful tribute to a great boy
Dennis was the most comedic Mousekateer. ...Rowby..
Wouldnt the police have searched his home and found him when he was first reported missing in Oct '18?
Hello 👋, how are you doing??
I was one of those children that seen the reruns in the 70's. Besides Annette, Lonnie, and Sharon being my favorites, Dennis was one of my favorites too. I heard they sent the body that was found in his home to a lab in Portland to identify if the body is him. Let's just hope it's not and let's all say prayers for Dennis and his family.
Rest in piece Dennis❣️❣️
Yes it is appearing a sad end for this talented original Mouseketeer, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and those viewers who loved him (but the investigation is still pending, eventhough a body has been discovered. However, many are confusing this Dennis Day with another older and very talented singer, Dennis Day, who was born Owen Patrick Eugene McNulty; May 21, 1916 - June 22, 1988, and was one of the cast members on The Jack Benny Program, and as you can see, "that" Dennis Day died in 1988, and during his lifetime, he had a longterm marriage and ten children, so let's get these two straight. The Dennis Day here (the original Mouseketeer, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 12, 1942 to Fred A. Day and Verda L. Day. His family had no show business background, and Dennis is not related to the famous singer who used a similar stage name. You can read more on him at this link: www.originalmmc.com/dennis.html
What is the name of that cool handsome fellow song? It's so cute.
My Banjo Playin' Joe.
Rip Dennis
Rest In Peace

Hello 👋, how's your day going so far?
Seems suspicious of foul play from what I have read. Why was his body found in his home after cops had originally looked through it more than once as TMZ said his house had searches? Unless they didn't search one spot, it seems like his body could have been placed there. The people using his car after he disappeared is a bit odd too. I am curious what the cause of death is.
RIP :-(

He was just found dead
They found him dead recently....
I always knew he'd get it in the end...

Another child star diaster story.
So cute.
I didn't know he was gay. When did he come out?
At age 18. 1960.
@@Michael-hb4wc , wow at 18 in 1960! That's pretty brave back then.
He died already in 1988
You’re thinking about the Dennis Day from the Jack Benny show that was born in 1916 (and his real name was Owen Patrick McNulty). Former Mouseketeer Dennis Day was actually named Dennis Day and was born in 1942.
His “ husband” ? WDF?
Yeah. They were married.
best I came up wit. dennis day is hid out at a freak festival ..
nothin bad. just a possibiltyy
@Terry Macneil
@@sctl149 , what is that?
dennis day was not any mousketeer he served in the armed forces during the 2nd world war!!!
That's amazing! Especially given that he was born in 1942.
He was married to a guy very strange & odd how some seem to go from the normal side to the abnormal way of life totally insane...
its kind of sad that some stupid troll called "old time", is writing something like this when some guy is missing. I don't know much about this guy and im actually really upset and scared for him cause he's missing.
your comment is really rude and disrespectful
not only to him but the whole lgbtq community
- thank you
@@gillliangreenberggreen, THANK YOU RAINBOW CLOWN😀
I don't think he meant it that way at all. I think there was and were some punctuation issues with his statement but even then I am not sure he meant anything bad. It is fascinating that someone from that time period became/was gay. I wish I knew him...@@gillliangreenberggreen
@@alexkx8599 "from that time period?" Gays have been around since the beginning of time.
Abnormal? F**K you. I'm sure you're perfectly ordinary in every way.
Hopefully, he found God and repented before he died.
no he didnt do anything wrong yet. if he took his own life thats another story. but still...
Hope you repent for all of your sins too, Cary...
Truth Hurts thank you. I do too.
