I'm 70 years old and I remember this song like yesterday! It is still a relevant blues tune today. We all age but the music does not. Love the Stones...they're the greatest!
Yes Jeanette, I'm the same, I cannot imagine a life without the Rolling Stones, this tour has been magical, they are pulling everything out of the bag to entertain us night after night, and enjoying it more as well🔥💯
I remember going to the record store and buying these amazing records when they came out one by one not realizing the change in music as it is today. There aren’t anymore record stores but these classics live on.
this is a great version,Im fortunate to know the studio bass line ,note for note, and this bass line studio works well with this Bluesy version,,,2 thumbs up!
What an outstanding version. This classic not has aged well, over the DECADES, but it’s never sounded more robust or emotionally charged. Thanks for posting and giving us the opportunity to experience this.
Perhaps one of the best-known songs in the Stones catalogue. Less known to many, however, is that Jimmy Page had recorded a demo in July 1964 with session musician drummer Clem Cattini. Tnx for this woderful memories
Keith has played everything. Tele, Strat, Les Paul, LP Jr, Gibson Melody Maker, Epiphone Casino, Dan Armstrong, 335... there is a long list. Tele is his favourite but he plays many of the others on a regular basis. He did his Chuck Berry film with a Strat.
This was on the Stones third USA album..."Rolling Stones Now !" It had the classics, Down Home Girl, Everybody Needs Someone (the Solomon classic soul), The classic Its All Over Now, all recorded in Chicago at Chess Records where they had met Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon etc etc. This album also had great notes on the back cover of the vinyl album...I read those Andrew Loog Oldhams 200 times. It had references to Chicago, Howlin Wolf etc etc, in a hip way. Their previous album in the US was "12 x5" and paid homage to Chess Records by including a rare instrumental titled " 2120 S. Michigan Ave" ....that (or was) was the address of Chess Records.

THE FROZEN SONG
Cssino Shsron Stone.
damn where was this. it looks like a small venue but 99% chance its not
If I am correct is a small bar in Ontario the Stones played in 2002 just a few days kicking their Licks Tour off.
Check out their performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam. It's an old church where's only place for 1000+ people. Speaking of a small venue :)
Probably El Mocambo in downtown Toronto
LES STONES NE SONT JAMAIS MEILLEURS QUE DANS LES PETITES SALLES !!
Might be from the No Filter shows
Mick fucking Jagger

😍🥰
Tattoo you. ❤
Whats the original scale of this song
What year was this concert and where? Anyone?
WHEN? WHERE? thx...
16.Aug.2002
Palais Royale, Toronto
Secret club gig
Did Mick mix up the lyrics on purpose?
did he?
No
He did
No me gustò.
dei
kőből van a szived SALA dr
I remember when this song was super good. They really messed it up here. Mick needs to remember he's not a black bluesman and he never will be.
Q see
Keef playing a Strat? Since when?
Keith has played everything.

Tele is his favourite but he plays many of the others on a regular basis.

Great great song! If only they could have found a good band to perform it.
🤡🤡🙈
Ma chi sono questi? 😅
mic has so many facelifts his head comes to a point under hair pierce
This version is lacking and hollow compared to the 60's version...where is the signature bass part.....These songs were better with Brian.

Agreed!
It is weak!
There were no horns in this song, it sounds cheap and amateur!

How can you possibly say "it has nothing to with the '64 version"?!
