Yes. However, after being vaporized, Reverse Flash came back to life and regenerated from only bones and ash. Reverse Flash is the only survivor to date of Dr. Manhattan’s attack. Obviously he still cannot survive full power of Dr. Manhattan, but he COULD survive being disintegrated/atomized. Reverse Flash is an “existential constant”. It is impossible to take him out of the equation, unless he wills to do so. For as long as universe exist, that frozen version in time of Eobard will keep existing. However, it is not MUCH of an existence. Eobard runs a perfect time loop perpetually, destined to repeat his mistakes, causing his own creation. Eobard’s existence is perpetual limbo of pity and scorn. His very existence is just self-torture and definition of disappointment. So, his “power” is his own downfall. Everyone can literally perceive the past present and future at the same time. You do it everyday when you remember something you did while doing something else or think of something you’re going to do before you do it.
Imagine. When u watch past present and future is like watching water not moving till something drop and ripple affect all of it then it became still again
But there is a very small drawback with seeing the past, present and future. You see, his nigh omniscient power is linear and therefore cannot see all the events of what will happen if there is a stronger perceiver/even turner.
He doesn’t have any weaknesses, he’s seeems to have been written to be a scientist/physicist version of God. Dr. Manhattan is probably the most interesting entity as he explores the idea of the consciousness being seprate from the body that exists in a higher plain of existence and what can happen if the two are separated or if the body dies but the conscious lived

Bro because of this shorts I finally started to read comics and it’s awesome. Sad part is the app where you can watch all the comics from marvel the equivalent for dc isn’t available in my country Germany. 💀
So if he knew the future that Batman who Laughs will take his body, then he might have killed him before he does any damages.
@@qqqpqPeople need to actually start picking these comics up for themselves instead of just spreading misinfo. Good job on correcting him
I'd just like to point out that from Thawne's perspective Manhattan effectively tortured him for centuries.
Destiny is often tricky like that.
@@kingol4801 Dr Manhattan could just erase him from ever happening if he chooses to
All great for the Dr until Pre-retcon The Beyonder joins the chat...😮😮
The Lab accidents Are insane In comics.
They can either give You a Spider Like Powers
Or make you an Nigh Omnipotent Being who can erade multiverses.
But still can't erase superman from existence
We all know he can but writers won't allow it just like how batman could be killed in seconds but no one will allow it
@@BEAST-ot2tu I know there's a comic out there where a street level character was able to trick Manhattan to give him his power and become powerful like every alternate version of some popular goddang character

@@BEAST-ot2tucope
Catastrophic accident gives him this much power lol. These comic book writers are so bad lol
It wasn't the experiment that gave him his powers the original comic where Dr Manhattan comes from called "Watchmen"
where he was ment to show what a real super hero would act like, Watchmen was written by Alan Moore (who also wrote Dark Knight Returns and V for Vendetta) who is considered one of the greatest writers in 1985
On most lists its considered the best comic ever written and has multiple awardes including Hugo,Eisner and Locus rewards,
Its also in the list of Top 100 Books ever written list made by the Times Magazins
@@chikihando2483 If experiment didn't give him power, than where his powers came from?
That's been sorta the standard since comics have been a thing. Why is this shocking to anyone?
@@pharaohbubbles1547 we don’t read such books. We read books where power is acquired through hardwork
@@Khairuddin313 that's nice and all. But that only means you don't understand Manhattan. He becomes a godlike being on accident, and yet he now knows everything. He becomes so distant from existence dnd humanity bc of how absurdly powerful He is and he hates it. Nothing worse than someone who loves to learn has nothing else to learn or do. Which is why him entering the DC cosmology was like Disneyland to him
Fun fact:he can only see past, future and present if is INVOLVED with him which can save him from danger and other stuff
Not really
He can also see everyones like he did on Doomsday clock
I was joking when I assumed reverse flash would be mentioned
reverse flash, guy who avoids anything, dies to bleach man
If he's that strong, how did the Batman Who Laughed even take his body, he's basically above even multiversal people like Zatanna and Superman, it's been a while so I don't remember.
I think he did the experiment on himself before docter manhatten became doctor Manhattan
He found bruce wayne from another universe who was doing the same experiment then stole his brain b4 the experiment happened

*superman got all manhattans power and abilities yet people is scared to say that such is demonstrated in action comics 2023 issue 1050 he could trancend time space and matter ( CW superman also trancended space time and matter ( plus in Orion comics issue 14 Manhattan couldn't even distort or move superman ( plus in justice leaque issue 25 the writer said with a few nano second sundip superman could become tens of greatly multi thousand times more powerful*
*Manhatran is a blue naked freak who is less powerful then true superman ( the fact is this though in my opinion superman is omnipotent omnipresent and greatly close to omniscient*
You do know that in almost 90 years of comics history, powers have fluctuated drastically to the point of Superman once having sneezed away the Milky Way, and in another he's getting pummeled by Mongul, right? A shit ton of writers add and substract accordingly and DC Comics have a long time ago threw in the towel regarding power levels, so claiming that Superman is more powerful than X or Y is meaningless fanboyism.
Using that logic, Animal Man is by far the most powerful one despite being a C-list character, seeing as he once siphoned the powers of The Presence (the most powerful entity of the DC Multiverse) and even talked to the actual writer of the comic. All this canonically.

*Actually you are more then just wrong on that topic ( There's only ""one superman""" created in 1932 by two Jewish boys in a time of true war without weakness and with a evolving physiology ( the evolving physiology means over time he will gain every ability thinkable and he would have a power beyond imagination) that very character was bought from DC as a third party ( Every superman created by DC was in mirror to what superman is and to what he would become over time ( We got greatly greatly greatly many versions superman even though they are portraying the true superman*

Everyone can literally perceive the past present and future at the same time. You do it everyday when you remember something you did while doing something else or think of something you’re going to do before you do it.
Bro turn “now I have blue balls” to a new level 💀
He is molecule man for dc
RIP Greg Plitt
He doesn’t have any weaknesses, he’s seeems to have been written to be a scientist/physicist version of God.
His origin story is super cool though, the intrinsic field separation accident along with his father, teaching him how to sequentially put a watch together, love for a woman, and a few other coincidences. I wonder if Dr. Manhattan didn’t make himself.
“Looks like Ligma”
“What’s ligma?”

how to gain dr manhattan powers: be inside a nuke
So basically, Dr. Manhattan is on par with the Source and the One above all. He can literally make whole realities.
He's beyond "broken."😮
no not as powerful was the prsence in fact he is a lot weaker, but yeah he is above toaa
Why lab experiments always give them powers instead of dying 😂😂
Batman who laughs: I’m bout to steal this man’s whole fade
I would like to see the Scarlet witch go up against him because she's got reality warping powers on another level (and I don't mean the mcu version I mean the one who said one word and made it so mutants never existed) and she had probability magic that changes the probable outcome of a situation in her favor making Manhattans perception of time pointless because the probability is constantly shifting I'm not saying who would win but it would be an epic battle.
Wasn't she super amped in that situation? Also I don't think she's shown any feats on the level of, say, creating the New 52 multiverse. Dr. Manhattan has also defeated powerful magic users, as shown when he had to subdue the Justice League.
Magic doesn't work on him
@@abenaafrifa855 In the example I gave, he defeated John Constantine and Zatanna at the same time (along with pretty much every other member of the Justice League)
