  • Hi this video is meant to be a wake up call to all men who start showing signs of prostate cancer.
I believe there is not enough knowledge being shared a out this cancer that can affect a huge percentage of men from different racial back grounds.
I ignored my early symptoms in the hope as most men do that it will just go away.
This video will hopefully hp to raise awareness.

Very poor care from your original Doctor who didn’t do necessary blood tests or MRI scan.

Woody, I hope many see your video and hear the call for checkups. Like you I had back pain for a year, urinary problems longer. I put off until kidneys shut down and ended up in hospital. I also wish I had checked it earlier. It was a shock to hear stage 4

Thanks mate - This video has just described what happened to me before my diagnosis of stage 4 prostate cancer , apart from little details the exact same things happened to me including the terrible pain and docs telling me i have sciatica and the important bit , i noticed peeing was not quite right but I ignored it because I'm an older bloke in his mid 50s and that's what happens attitude.. DO NOT IGNORE ANY OF THESE SIGNS .. Thanks again Woody - Keep fighting my friend and enjoy life - I certainly intend to

Had the same symptoms woody except my treatment was different, I went through 6 months of chemo then 2 weeks of radiation on the spine. Two yrs in my oncologist suggested radiation on the prostate because it was shown to increase the success rate by 30 % I now just receive my monthly shot of firmagon and I’ve been cancer free for 4 years now.

Great video Woody, you're spot on with what you say! I have stage 3 so I completely understand & yes guys, you must get a PSA test if you have any of the symptoms Woody describes, the sooner the better!

I always had lower back pain since my mid 20s.i do suffer with an enlarged prostate, peeing a lot ,bad flow up once or twice during the night but when my doctor does the blood tests all is OK just an enlarged prostate. But my mind keeps worrying and thinking the what ifs......Thanks woody for this video and I think you look pretty good woody.

Thanks for sharing Woody, I will be doing a CPD reflection on this so that as a Paramedic, I am more aware for my patients.

I was also shocked when I was finally diagnosed as PC metastasis Stage 4. I should ave been given a PSA test. I demanded it. I hope things get better for you Woody.

Woody, what was the time frame between the urinary symptoms and the extreme pain? This is probably a dumb question and I don't want to appear naive or self-centered, but "Do you think cancer can be prevented by doing some of the mind work you describe?" You are doing a great service for people, and believe you will get rewarded somehow. My friend has prostate and seems to be doing well now, but if there is a way to prevent it, I want to try. Your channel has opened my eyes to the need to care for the body and mind.

I can’t wrap my head around making the choice to devastate your quality of life in order to stay alive. I just cling to the hope that I caught and treated my PC early enough… if I had to choose hormone therapy or just allowing the disease to kill me, I’m not certain which I will choose. I’m at peace with the eventuality of death and I value being able to live. If I can’t live a quality of life, then I don’t see the point of being alive.

Did you always go for a yearly exam and PSA check up prior to all this happening to you? And if so was all your results normal?
