    As someone who passed CompTIA exams over the years - the advice on taking practice exams is absolutely spot on and cannot be overstated enough 👍 For example, I remember when I passed the A+ Core 1 and Core 2 on the first attempt but before I was ready to take the real exam , I failed many practice exams at home and did not book a date for the real exam till I knew I was ready.

    Take the practice exams before studying! YES!

    Read the entire question then read all the answers. Then go back and re-read the question again. Then make your choice. 😊

    If someone offers a bunch of practice exams. Don't do them all at once and try not to repeatedly take them. Try to spread them out so that as you become more familiar with the material you can still take a test you've never done before. It gives a more accurate picture of what you understand and where you might be weak.

    I passed my sec+ on 24th. And i have done all of there without knowing this video. I can tell you he is right on the spot. If you do all this you should pass without an issue.

    I feel like any practice exam not sourcing exam objectives in their answers is a baaad idea! I'd stay away from those!

    Forgot one: digital or physical: YOU HAVE TO PRACTICE LAB WORK! Also, different pools of questions and labs

      @my-free-academy  Před 10 měsíci

      That's all dependent on the specific exam. Some of these don't require lab work, and some people also have hands on experience, so lab work is really dependent on the specific certification :)

    what courses do you recommend? how do I know if they have old material? I finished Dion training course for core 1 and Im just preparing for the exam now but it seems legit. Do you know of Dion Training?

      Yes, he's one of the more well known people in the industry, his stuff is mostly good, but every so often you will find something that's from one exam on another's practice test or course study material, just because he's done a lot of different courses and guides, so if you get a 90% on one of his practice exams, you might actually still know 100% of the material, and the other 10% might be from another course, etc.
