Quick Boat Update: Part 23 First Night on the Hook

- This is the first single handed trip I was on. Also the first night I spent on the hook. Everything went quite well. And I even got to go kayak fishing the next morning. I launched right from the boat! Pretty cool, me thinks ;^)

I've never seen the ocean I would give anything to take a trip like you and Mike took but I doubt a wheelchair would work. But I can dream.
I get to live vicariously through you.. please please don't stop making, videos about you, your dogs, your boat and the adventures y'all endure.
i loved how you edit the video together with the music " really relaxing", i hope one day i can be like you, owning a boat or a kayak at least.. great job marty... keep it up..

Running that generator, you need to get yourself a carbon monoxide detector for your boat. Play it safe.

It really depends on where you keep your genny. There's nothing to worry about when you have it where he keeps his. If your generator is in your engine room then a monoxide detector is a good idea.
Jim M the genset is on the dive platform..
I had one already in the cabin to test for the exhaust coming from the two main CO pooters. A tester is a must. Even when on the swim platform, because you're not moving, the fumes can creep around the inside of the boat.
No worries mounted out of the swim platform !
Any room left in your engine bay to mount that generator?

We all knew that if we were patient throughout your Boat life transition that we would be taken on a awesome adventure with you...when you bought your boat I traded my motorcycle for one almost identical it is still sitting in the corner of the farm...can't wait to put my Kayak on the Bow and head out to one of Virginia's many uninhabited islands....a "Zoffinger Inspired Life"..... have a feeling that phrase will become synonymous with us "Zoffingerians" define- a person who enjoys the water, fishing, kayaking and boating in the manner made famous by Marty Zoffinger... tight lines

I have a very tough life with my career, everything is hectic all the time and all people (including myself) only focus on making the big buck. To be honest, its great to unwind and watch these videos. Maybe someday Ill have the courage to live like this.... though I do enjoy getting stoned after a long week and watching these.

Great video as always, but I think this one displays the fruit of your labor. Loved the kayak, I feel that you have been one of the inspirations to Pelican to keep improving. Can't wait for the next adventure and I think the other viewer that recommended a bridge for the dogs is dead on. My wife watched for the first time and loved the interaction of the dogs. Tight lines til the next endeavor.

Hey Zoffinger, get a 2x6 lumber or plywood and staple carpet to it, and make a Latch of some sort, so you can put on the back of the boat for the dogs to walk up and down from the bassbuster. (A bridge)

Federal regulation USCG all gasoline powered vessels with inclosed cabins must have a Carbon Monoxide detector onboard especially if equipped with a generator. Great videos absolutely love them!
