I'm looking to improve on the designs (animation / overall drawings) for the next videos. Was there something appealing about the rough and amateurish drawings that drew you in or was it more so the content that kept you watching this video? Please let me know!
I Love it, because it's very unique. Don't change it. Add music and sound effects. Sound - is very a powerful thing. Also, an extra way to express your uniqueness. It will put way more life into your amazing videos. Thumbnail - just wow.. Keep the same style. Your are doing very well my friend.
I finished the video, and it felt very personable. I think your story feels genuine, but what I felt was missing was some more specifics, which maybe opens up more videos. For example - with your floor and ceiling goals, how did you accomplish those in the gym? What were you like physically before starting to get back in the gym, and what has been your progress? I guess, boiling it down to walking as well, why do you think being outside was one of the sole reasons you started to drag yourself out of your rut? Because at the end of this video, I felt the call to action was to go outside and walk - but why? Maybe because if you’re stuck in life, getting yourself into motion, with something as simple as walking, puts your life in motion? Idk just some thoughts, hope this helps and thank you for sharing your story!
Some improvements would be good, but the rough style is great and it's your own. Shame I can't download your app on android, but I liked the video. Thanks for the upload
I would say that it works quite well so if you like it then keep it if you don't then change it. i like this kind though,
Both, came for the art and lesson, stuck around for your story
I thought this was a multi million view video, this was absolutely amazing, this needs to blow up I’m genuinely in love
Thanks! Means a lot
@@firsthundredapp how do you do those animations?
Nope he doesn't, beleive me when good channels become famous they lose authenticity
There are lots of channels that I enjoy that get under 100k subs and views. A person does not need attention to do what that person loves. I have gotten into making my own videos not because I expect recognition but because I want to teach myself stuff.
Draw them out by hand on my iPad haha
I don't know how the algorithm picked this video for me, but I can't tell you how much I needed to hear this. I won't drown my comment with a sbb story nobody wants to hear, but truly thank you for this.
Whatever you are going through, sending you strength. Just like you, this vid appeared in my recommended just at the right moment. We got this, there will be an end to this!
I have no clue how the youtube algorithm knows more about us than ourselves but hey it helps
I’m with you, we can get through this together

It’s alright, you can write your story. It will help to express your struggles verbally instead of holding it in. And don’t worry that you’ll bore others - the most important thing in your life isn’t someone else, but yourself🫶
I was on the edge of unaliving myself, and my friends just said let's try going to the gym at last what can you lose? I have been going to the gym for the last 2 years met my girlfriend and once again felt alive and recovered from my sickness. I learned how important my family is to me. I stopped playing video games I started working in a company and managed to do a clean diet.
so glad to hear that homie, we're all gonna make it 🙏
Did you stop any form of distraction involving a screen or just video games ?
getting our heart rate up, even with a few burpees every day, can help clear our system of heavy feeling biochemicals quite quickly.. was one of the best things i started to do, getting my circulation going every day
so the gym bros were right all along. all we have to do is just lift
@@matty6878 Exercise releases endorphins, doesn't have to be lifting but any kind of exercise especially those that have a social aspect will help with depression in a lot of cases. Adequate sleep also helps, better diet etc. Unfortunately all things people with depression find difficult to implement.

If any women are watching this who struggle with consistency, don’t forget we have a hormonal cycle every month that affects our energy, motivations, and whole brain!
Try doing consistency aligned with your cycle, monthly, based on how you feel each week/phase of your cycle.
Ex: Follicular/ovulation - focus on high energy tasks like gym, starting new projects, socializing, traveling.
Luteal/menstrual - focus on low energy like skincare, easy healthy meals, finishing up projects, resting, reading, etc.
Thank you for the reminder. It really does affect us a lot. And sometimes i’d beat myself up for it instead of adjusting with this.
Thank you so much ma'am. Just needed this.Take care ❤
So true lmao, i lose all my will to live during the luteal phase💀 that sudden wave of collosal out-of-pocket sadness is such a great indicator of my time being around the corner for me😭💀 our hormones are wild fr

@@jijijajaanapankaik1247Then try improving yourself and your life to find new people to surround yourself with, that care about you. Before you do that, think about it are there any people that remotely care about you? I know its one of the hardest things in your life. But you can do it! Try starting by writing down Why people should care about you. After that what you want your life to be like and then create atomic tasks to achieve the life you want. On every action that you perform, ask yourself if its preventing you from having the live you want. And don't forget to try working on your goals.
@@jijijajaanapankaik1247 Also, don't forget to try loving yourself, because the love and appreciation of others will come with time, but only if you are ready. Ps one of your best decisions was defo starting a CZcams channel. Not many make it to the first video stage. I think you'll do amazing.
Really means a lot, will continue the grind posting better and more videos 🥳
5k+ now!!🎉 truly deserving❤
As someone who LIVED this 'process' already and came out of anxiety/fear/depression I can ONLY say: YES! This is a good guide, lovely drawn (I mean it) and accurate. Especially the last step, taking a walk every day was a complete gamechanger for me. I also tried a lot of things during this 'exploration time' I gave myself. Such as drawing or singing. Both were super fun, both helped me a lot, but neither sticked to me 'til today. It was part of the process and thats absolutely fine.
Wish you lots of love and good luck on your journey :)
hey i've been through this for 6 months now, my life gradually descends. i think i wasted so much potential and time
i've been tryna get back up again. it's hard but i know it's worth it, and it's the right thing to do. i want to live my life not full of regrets.
thanks for making the video
Hey you got this :)
It is indeed worth it my brother, get back to firstly being yourself and if you cant do that, just do whatever academically you have since im guessing a lot of the population on youtube has got some or the other academic pursuit, I hope you get that done then comes self improvement, gym, walks, and then skillset development, and on this personally i feel that you cant really do it unless youve done the others before and you dont have to sit with one thing the whole time, read bits by bits and see if you can implement,
i myself have gone through some stuff but Im working on finding myself now, have a great journey and a successful one at that :D
good luck to you
@@s3ated980 hey thanks for the kind words man, i'll make sure to keep your advice. cheers!
There is no self-improvement without self-acceptance. Protrayed beautifully in this video. I'm exactly in that phase where things are getting back to normal and I lack direction so definitely got something from this video.
I absolutely love how real you are with this topic. Alot of the time, people expect those who have been rotting in their beds for months to make dramatic mindset shifts in a single day and turn their whole life around in a max of 3-5 business days. Baby steps, however, are exactly what we need to get back to where we were and possibly even more ahead. Wishing the best for anyone who has taken the decision to turn their life around for better.
bruh this is the best video of this type i really appreciate your words. i like the ceiling and floor goals, and all of the small skills you’ve picked up, it’s all very helpful
I really like the honesty in this video. And the fact that you're not trying to force us to live a certain way (like many lifestyle gurus). You're simply explaining what worked for you and what didn't.
Like the journaling and heavy morning/night routines. I see so many people say that's what we should do, but honestly sometimes we just don't have that energy.
Thank you for your candor and keep up the good work!
This video is pure gold. Literally everything I've learned that is crucial about self improvement, condensed in a 7 minutes audiovisual format. So many things to pick up in a short amount of time
The advice I liked the most is that about being a friend of myself. Such a powerful concept
yep i love the ceiling and floor goal... i already know that concept but never practically and example.... its crushing the black and white thinking... if we only have one goal which is 1 hour work out... if you do just 30 minutes... you WILL feel miserable and feel you failed lol
Really grateful to have come across this video. I am currently having ongoing health issues which are preventing me from working and being able to live a normal life. I've been feeling quite down but I am going to pick myself up one day at a time and work on what I am in control of. And, hopefully, along with everything, my health will return one day.
You have no idea how much I needed to hear this! It’s so hard to pick yourself up from rock bottom but you’ve given simple and practical advice that can be put into action. Thank you!
Dude. Hands down the best video on changing your life I have ever seen. Simple, easy to follow, and fun without being fake. This is awesome

one of best self help videos i've ever seen! great content in short video and summary. thank you for sharing your jorney and helping others!
Can't believe how similar your story was to mine. I struggled a lot (mainly due to me not knowing at the time that I had ADHD and RSD). I recently lost my apartment which forces me to complete start from scratch, except my lessons and tools such as therapy, walking (since 560+ in a row - love walking in nature!!!) and all the hope and excitement for a "New Game Play+". I installed your app and will start with it at the new place I'll stay. Looking forward to your app and your new videos! ✨
The best life lesson I've EVER got from CZcams!! Thank you so MUCH 💓
Genuinely so helpful! I've spent my fair share of time on self help CZcams and in therapy, and this had several ideas I hadn't heard of and felt the need to take notes on. You clearly put a lot of time and thought into this, and I'm glad you're doing better physically and mentally
I genuinely thankful for this video. Your journey gives me hope. I will stay consistent and try to piece my life back together.

I do not know what you've been through. But I am extremely proud of you for achieving your goals and doing what you said to yourself that you will do.♥️ I have been there and I just started fixing things a week ago. This video now has made sure that I will continue doing so. Bless you.✨

Hey man, I've started a podcast on recovery from rock bottom and it would be amazing to talk to you. Really, really related to this. I was super impatient with the climb up from rock bottom. My brain thought it would be like climbing a really tall ladder but it was actually like a hike: small but noticeable jumps but nothing like 20ft all at once. I had my expectations way out of line, it really is about getting slightly better with cornerstone habits every day.
PS congrats on your first 100 subs
Thanks! I get what you mean, the expectations really dragged me down sometimes. But I’m glad to hear you’ve made a ton of progress 👍

i really related to this. i had a concussion which further confused and enabled my OCD which had me spiralling, questioning if i deserved normalcy. i had issues with past friends the summer before, and i felt myself getting back into a groove, and then that happened.
this is really encouraging. i hope you continue to get better.
It feels watching my life story through another person's lens. Amazingly and eloquently put. Had the exact same experiences and lessons. I understand how difficult it was. More power to you brother!!!
Glad it worked for you. Personally I could find nothing more inducive of anxiety than putting my entire life and existence into a calendar.
All the best on your journey mate
the animation and drawings are exactly what reel people in, they're lighthearted while the message of the video is kind of heavy so it's the perfect balance!
My partner, bless their soul, sent me this yesterday after the worst mental break ive ever had. I cried for every moment I had air in my lungs for over 20 hours, had panic attacks and had some thoughts I'm not totally comfortable repeating here, and when I had finally calmed down i was met with this. I thought in my hopeless and negative mental state it would be some "just do this to fix it all" type of video but it wasn;t. It was something I can understand even in my admittedly low state. I already cleaned up my bedroom, vacuumed the floor in there too! I know its not a short or simple path but I'm motivated this time to stop feeling the way I do. Thank you.
One of the first thing he said in the vid was how your mental being is often times reflected on your environment, I had to get up clean my room while listening to the video 😂. Felt great.
Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, dr.porass. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place.
Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac.
He's constantly talking about killing someone.
He's violent. Anyone reading this
Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.
Is he on instagram?
Yes he is dr.porass.
After endlessly watching content to get better, and how to do it, procrastinating on actually getting better, by watching more of "get better" content - this video gave me a amazing set of cliffnotes. Every step, a great reminder. And the process beeing so relatable.
I m trully thankfull for that.
Thank you for making this. Recently life has been pretty tough for me and I feel as though I needed this. So I can help myself again and to stop holding myself back for success. To anyone who is currently in a low point in their life like me, there is hope and things will get better, but only if you do something about it. Doing nothing will always result in nothing.
This deserves a million subs
bro this is too good!
thanks for making this video short and informative so our screentimes could get better :D
I love the animation style on this, and I definitely found the content helpful - I saved the video to a new Personal Development playlist, and I'll have to add the steps to my mental health documents. Thanks, First Hundred!
In the video says you lost a lot of friends during this hard time of your life, no man you didn't lose friends you just realized who the real ones are
Real 😞
So true. A lot of “friends” that we make throughout our life are only there to meet us where we are currently at. Once we move past that, a lot of those people will fade away because they can no longer meet you where you are at. Because you are somewhere else, and they are in the same place.
No bro, I've self sabotaged every single relationship I've been in
part of getting out of the lows in your life is realizing it’s okay to admit that you are the problem.
Relationships are a two way exchange, and while we hope for people who will unconditionally care for us, it’s not always healthy for someone else to chase after your wellbeing- especially if you’re not showing that you care for it yourself.
@@gatsbee goated comment
I've spent the past 4 years with chronic illness, and have been recently trying to improve myself, so this video really spoke to me.
I think there's a point where, after you're bedbound or housebound for so long, it stops being the illness keeping you that way, but your own mindset now won't let you out. You're stuck, deteriorating and rotting away in a prison that a large chunk is self-made. I've lost relationships with many friends to my deteriorating mental state, becoming negative and full of brainrot.
I love the idea of the ceiling and floor goals, and will be implementing them into how I structure my own goals.
As for the video, I clicked for the content title, but the rough animation had charm too. I think longer frames would make things easier to digest, as well as doing the repeating 3-frame animation thingy you did for one of the calender parts, that looked really good. Amazing video man, can't wait for more.
I love your content style. it's quirky yet it gets to the point and it has its bit of humour in it. I really hope you achieve the success you dream of because this is genuinely amazing
