People say MJ never beat a team like the GSW in the NBA Finals. Well...you cannot play yourself. The Bulls were the GSW of their era. Actually, the Bulls were better than the GSW because they set the all time record for wins and then capped it off with the chip. "It doesn't mean a thing without a ring." Also, if you look at the teams the Bulls played in the finals - LBJ's Cavaliers probably would not have beaten any of them (91 Lakers 58-24, 92 Trailblazers 57-25, 93 Suns 62-20, Super Sonics 64-18, 97 Utah Jazz 64-18, 98 Utah Jazz 62-20). People at act like the Bulls played some slouches during their NBA Finals victories; they did not. Additionally, MJ won his first three championships with a roster that was home grown. For the second three-peat, the Bulls added one player, Dennis Rodman (don't forget they drafted Tony Kukoc). MJ did not have to team up with other Allstars to get his first chip, he took what he had and pushed his team to the mountaintop. Lastly, if LBJ really thinks he is better than MJ - then why does he wear #23 (food for thought).

It is more than statistics and rings as well, but otherwise I don’t agree with someone calling themselves the goat. Even Jordan has said in the past that there has been multiple legends that he did not get to compete against. And that he doesn’t really care for the goat title.
