I'm a Native Nevadan and loved the time spent as my awesome dad's constant shadow as he prospected and searched for prehistorical and historical artifacts. He was way ahead of his time. During the 50s and 60s, he instructed me to admire and photograph artifacts and leave them as I found them ~ to never remove them. While traveling in remote areas we would sing Nevada's state anthem! I tear up upon hearing the song.

Nevada and Utah share a border, but in terms of general vibe, they might as well be on different planets!
Why does the wind always blow across the Great Basin from west to east? Because Utah sucks and California blows.

This state is the only place in the entire United States where the Golden Dollar is still commonplace, because of slot machines and other such things!
