You'd have seen it if the cameras were pointed more down range, over the shoulder of the tanks as it were. They are faster than your average ATGM since they get a nice shove out of the barrel, but much slower than a HEAT round.

It is not fire and forget, it is SACLOS, the ATGM is 9M119M. It has 950mm of penetration and its tandem

Conventional main gun rounds fire at much higher velocities still yet and produce a heavier recoil and larger blast than what you just saw in the video.
