Interesting how the game seems more fun and important pushes become viable when people don't have to sit in a blob just to counter a single ship. Must be a coincidence.

The smart play would have been to let the Odin TK the thunderer, so he'd get reflected damage

Please don't nerf the ship , if flamu can't even have 200k damage in a battleships magine the average joe. Overall Pommern is not a good ship in random it's a big chunk of meat that burns and eat big ap volley before the brawl.

@@belsteed6050 FDG doesn't have torps, has awkward turret angles, and is known as one of the most exhausting tier 9s to grind through. i have doubts
@@zacharyjackson1829 hmmm I'm mostly a battleships player and I can tell u that it is wrong! Friedrich is very consistent. I got my best games with her. Did u try Alsace? Izumo? That's a real pain to play.

Too late it's officially in the store for purchase, only nerf applicable would be change to global game mechanics. Though WG can still remove it
@@giroromek8423 they use global change to nerf ship they can't touch normaly by using other ship as collateral dmg.
Example that i know of? Graf zeppelin
1st, the global nerf on cv attack interval cooldown or i called it slingshot nerf, gz planes hp are already low and gets collateral dmg.
2nd is the rocket planes reticle, where all cv from all nation are all adjusted to one same pattern. So much for each nation has its own traits.
This will probably get the same treatment as jeanbart

Going to be honest. I hated FdG with all my soul, and never played rank in all my years playing WoWs, gave it a try in the 3v3 ranked after your video recommending ships with a somewhat secondary build (I have only a 14 point captain) and bloody hell it was a really fun BB to play... I may have even begun to like that thing... got to rank 1 in about 22 games and was having a blast... secondary builds are quite fun, but as you said, they sometimes (most of the time specially with CVs) are an effing huge pain in the ass to play...
My benham loved all the FdG xD

Looked and saw that I had enough resources to pick this up in the Armory so I did. Did a secondary spec as you did. You're right. When you can get into the right situation it's fun as hell!
01:45 is usually about the time in a match where I start to get lit up like a freaking christmas tree
To be honest he's pretty lucky trough the hole game, that z52 committed super dumb suicide with no chance at all to get him and the shots that barely missed him at the end was due to the lack of spotter plane, you can't shoot good behind an island blindly, you either hit the island or go way over your target
just started playing the game and dont really know how he is doing this, but it is amazing
Ägir was actually awesome in the sprint, I lost only two games while in the rest I simply pushed the enemy team to death. Crazy strong ship in those close quarter situations.

The Georgia was my go to in ranked. Its handling is insane to the point where you can play it like an Alaska.

Have fought so many of these in the ranked sprints in my Alaska. Havnet hadn't to hard of a time dealing with them as long as I have minded the torps. Been chunking them with 6-11k ap valleys.

So is this an IFHE secondary build? Just getting to the Coal for either Marcea or Pommern, not sure which to go for.

I played only Alaska and Jean Bart in ranked sprint. Jean Bart worked pretty good as a flanking ship as well. Create a crossfire position, pop de reload booster and go full berserker haha
i need a bb for tier 9 ..and i'm so confused between Georgia or pommern ?? gun handling and dispersion at long range and mid range ..armor and heath ? secondary guns ?? which one better to get ?? i saw many and many tubes ..some says Georgia better and some says pommern ...i'm not too much pro player ,,which one i get ?? i need your advice guys

Waiting for my ship coupon to reset so I can get this ship with coal. In the meantime I went with the Alaska in ranked sprint and had no issues handling the uncountable Pommerns I faced off against. I was actually sort of surprised how easy it was. I'm looking forward to seeing the stats at the end of the season.

the only thing this thing needs to outright replace GK, is having 128mms in place of the 105mms

@@leemarcus6123 Or split them and make ones with torps, lower caliber guns and no hydro vs the ones that we currently have but only with the high caliber guns as an option.
Maybe give the ones without torps a better secondary accuracy like the graf zeppelin or the US BB's
Ok I'm glad someone else noticed. Aren't the secondaries exactly the same on FDG and Pommern? So doesn't this mean, especially given the buffs to FDG in the last year or so, it's just as good as Pommern, but with hydro instead of torps? (Same relationship as Tirpitz and Bismarck)

Pommern is a better FDG ,because it has hydro and Torps while FDG only has hydro

Would you recommend an IFHE secondary build on the Kurfurst or not? Because all of its secondaries can pen 32 mm, but I'm not sure if that would be enough penetration at tier 10.
Kurfurst does not need IFHE anymore since the buff. It can penetrate 32 mm and 38 mm without the IFHE. But Pommern on the other hand needs IFHE to work properly because of smaller calibre secondary guns. Exchanging the commander between both ships would be a problem. Pommern would need a separate commander in my opinion.

I have 182k Coal. I am not sure which ship to get either Thunderer, Georgia or Pommern. Can anyone tell which ship is the best.

Just out of curiosity, why not spec Fire prevention instead of IFHE if fires are such an issue?
without IFHE it would be like 40k secondary damage or less instead of 80k. High risk high reward build.

Flamu, do a Shima range-build review. You can get the guns to something insane like 16.7KM. Takes forever for your shots to do something. But the memes...

Not taking fire prevention is a nice way to lose your will to live fast, imo.

In my experience, Jean Bartest was effective in rocket boosting me to R1 because not a lot of people (re)spec into IFHE. And without it even with 32mm, 105 of FdPommern are mostly annoying. While at the same time their horrendous back turret angles presents you with a massive target for your MBRB.
Although tbf I was somewhat lucky and my battles were 2-3 BB fests so no things like SAP, or IFHE Seattles melting your 32mm.
P.S. Anyone knows what happens if the last guy rams the last guy?

Honestly it isn't even worth to shot AP as starting some fires with the main guns besides the huge amount of secondary caused fires can boost your dmg nicely.

I find the presence of destroyers preclude aggressive battleship play far more than carriers do. I mainly play battleships, but once I get tired of being torpedo spammed by invisible trolls for hours, I get in a carrier and bomb them to death, or just spot them and watch them squirm. Personally, I think a ship that most players can't see, with weapons that can kill anything in a single volley, and that have smoke, are just too powerful. A good destroyer player will be far more pivotal in a match than a good carrier player.

I also thought POmmern would be good in ranked..but my team mates that played Pommern and FdG played like fire&forget weapons..

I just got the Georgia, love this ship. Pommern looks fun as well. In my mind you cannot really make a mistake but Georgia is squishy and not an easy to play ship. You can't play it like a Massachusetts but like an Iowa with Massachusetts characteristics.
The main guns on Georgia are really awesome though, no battleship rewards good aim as much as Georgia imo.
Pommern, which I haven't played yet seems like the love child of Tirpitz and the Große Kurfürst. If you love German ships and don't want to be disappointed I would go or Pommern.

18 Games to get to rank 1 / 80% winrates .... Georgia is the best ship averaging 400-500 secondary hits per game with a speedboost to relocate and awesome guns if u have to shoot a broadside at medium range, overmatch include. Georgia for the win
@@ichx8 agree Georgia is for experimented player... Pomernn not so much, Georgia for the win yes, I can't stand a battleships with shotguns, anyway u are not going to make full use of your secondaries in random most of the time so better have real precise guns with overmatch a great heal and speed.
