Evolution of Pokémon Moves (Electric Type)

- There are 42 Pokémon and 27 moves that have the Electric type. This type usually comes with a powerful Special Attack and also a notable Speed stat, not to mention that it's the type of the franchise's mascot. In this episode of 'Evolution of Gaming', we will take a look at all Electric-type moves in all core series Pokémon games.

Gen III's Thunder is my favorite Thunder animation. All others after that looked too cartoon-y.
Fun Fact: Electric type is the only type to have a Gym in ever Generation. There wasn't an Electric one in Johto _but_ you can still visit Surge's gym in the game.

Yes, they focused too much on the aesthetics and that made the game slower. I think that was solved in Platinum

+Edgar Gaebolg Platinum was still slow, but faster than it's predecessor, the slowness was actually only solved in Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
Gen 4 is probably the slowest in my opinion. I beat every generation besides gen 4 because of how slow it is

Thunder Wave: Paralyzes target.
Thunder Shock: May paralyze target.
Thunder Punch: May paralyze target.
Thunderbolt: May paralyze target.
Thunder: May paralyze target. Has 100% accuracy in rain.
Spark: May paralyze target.
Zap Cannon: Paralyzes target.
Charge: Powers up Electric attacks & raises Sp. Defense.
Shock Wave: Cannot miss.
Volt Tackle: May paralyze target. User suffers recoil damage.
Magnet Rise: Uses electromagnetism to levitate, providing immunity to all Ground attacks.
Charge Beam: May raise Sp. Attack.
Thunder Fang: May paralyze target and/or cause flinching.
Discharge: May paralyze target(s).
Electroweb: Lowers target's Speed.
Volt Switch: Attacks target then switches out.
Wild Charge: User suffers recoil damage.
Electro Ball: Deals damage based on user's Speed in relation to the target's.
Fusion Bolt: Deals more damage if user was hit by Fusion Flare or Fusion Bolt prior to attacking.
Bolt Strike: May paralyze target.
Eerie Impulse: Lowers target's Sp. Attack by 2.
Electric Terrain: Turns the field into Electric Terrain, powering up all Electric attacks and preventing Pokemon on the ground from falling asleep.
Electrify: If this move hits the attacker before they move, their next move will be Electric-Type.
Ion Deluge: Turns all Normal-Type moves into Electric-Type moves.
Magnetic Flux: Raises the Defense & Sp. Defense of all Pokemon with the Plus or Minus Ability.
Nuzzle: Paralyzes target.
Parabolic Charge: Drains target's HP.

Fire-type attacks since Reshiram's Fusion Flare can also be stronger when in the same team as Zekrom in Double or Triple battles.
Being on the same team doesn't actually matter, as long as Fusion Flare is used after Fusion Bolt (or vice versa), it gets the power boost.
My absolute favorite type.
I like Ghost and Psychic.
I prefer psychic.
Fire is my fav type
For some reason this is the most forgettable type for me, whenever I count 16 pokemon types, I always forget Electric

I always found Spark to be OP in Gen 3. It felt like every time it was used, the Pokémon that took the damage ended up paralyzed.

Wow, Gen 6 Introduced the most electric type moves out of all the gens. Now I see why it also introduced the fewest new pokemon, because they were mostly busy balancing types, ie the introduction of fairies.
I liked how the gen 5 legends each had two signature moves

Fairy Type can be possible if you use the old "normal-types moves" who changed its types (like you did in Ghost-Type moves with Curse).

I love Electric types. They only have one major weakness, they're super effective against two of the most common types out there (water and flying), and deal normal damage on most of the other types

I Really Like That Electics Moves
Magnezone is my favorite being a dual-type Pokemon with two of my favorite types: Steel and Electricity, and the concept of magnetism and electromagnetism. Magnezone is the Pokemon example of Magneto, in my opinion.
Electric type moves are super effective to:
-Water type: if electricity meets water, it will cause electrical shock and explosion.
-Flying type: Electricity from wires or lightning bolt fry birds'/bats' wings.
Electric type moves cannot affect Ground type because of electrical grounding.
Can you update the evolution of Pokemon Moves from Gen 1 to 7?
