Anyway about Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Go and every Pokemon Game that isn't related to the main game. I don't planned to do them because I only focus on main game, not spin-off.

In japan, we call Fire Blast, “Dai mon ji” it means “the character of dai” dai=大
That’s why fire blast looks like 大
And 大 means big
It's also a reference to the Gozan no Okuribi, AKA the Daimonji Festival.
Nice, I always wondered what that symbol meant.
I argue they should have called it "BIG FIRE" in the US.
As a person who spoke Mandarin, I always called it "大火" (da huo) which means big fire
Oh yes...and people sometimes mistake it for kanji of fire.

The ORAS animation is my favorite. The force of the flames actually pushes the opposing Pokemon backwards.

"大文字" is one of the events which represent summer in Kyoto.
It's drawn by the fire like "大" in the mauntain.

The 7th generation has the best animation that the flame ball turning into the character「大」smoothly.
I think the film editing is better than the Hyper Beam video.
I could compare the animations without other irrelevant movements.

Fire Blast is one of the best and powerful fire type moves in Pokemon

One of the most powerful yes. Best, not really. I'd rather rely on Flamethrower or Flare Blitz. Occasionally Blast Burn.

Fire blast represents kanji ; 大 ,so fire blast is called daimonji=大文字 in Japanese . 大文字 means character of 大;dai .
大;dai means big , large or great .
I remember in the anime when Magmar used Fire Blast and Charizard caught it with brute strength one of the best moments and top 10 battles in the Pokemon anime

While not all that reliable (nor my favorite Fire-type attack), I’ve always enjoyed using Fire Blast, too. :) My favorite animations are in Generations IV and VII, and in ORAS. Was Arcanine needed for each demo, though?

I think my fav is the ORAS because how the word goes in the first place like it should be
ORAS did it best. The kanji is perfectly shaped, it fires out as and stays a kanji symbol the entire time, and the way it flies and impacts has a lot of tangible weight and power to it.
I love seeing how Pokèmon moves have changed. Maybe you could show their power levels, Pp type and effects?

Evolution of Arcanine named Tygadogast using fire blast on legendaries (starmie and gloom are legendarys trust me)
The Japanese of this move is called “Daimonji” which refers to an activity of lighting several bonfires making patterns of kanji on the mountain at the peak of Odon Festival. One of the kanji pattern is shaped 大 which means “big” and is the reference to this move

I miss the spinning fire-ring aspect when the user was generating the flames. Made the move feel more like a magical attack than a generic fireball.
I love how gen 4 has an "updated" version.
I also love the sound of the fire spinning around and being fired.
EDIT: Differences as in Diamond/Pear/Platinum and HeartGold/SoulSilver.

In case you're wondering the fire pattern in the attack animation for Fire Blast, it has the shape of the kanji "kai" (大) that means "great", which actually based on the Daimonji of the Japanese festival Gozan no Okuribi, where the bonfire shape is the same as the pattern used in Pokemon's Fire Blast animation.

I think it's fair to have an opinion on what gen did the move animations the best, but it feels kind of hard to argue that any generation before 6 and 7 don't really compare to what they did and were capable of doing on that hardware, although you can disagree and have your favorites, i find it tough to argue.
Fun fact: When Ash's charizard battles Gary's blastoise in the league, Brock says, "Fire moves dont affect water directly but sometimes they can work, especially if charizard can get a close shot at blastoise."
Later that episode we see charizard burn the battlefield which helps chaizard win the battle.
We also see this in origins when fire spin seems to really affect blastoise for some reason, where fire blast finishes it off.

I like how Arcanine uses Fire Blast on a Pokemon with 4x's resistance to Fire at 3:30 and it does a sorta -C or D+ hit (Tho Reshiram had some HP gone before that)

Best fire blast I can remember is from gen 1 in Blaine’s gym!
Generation 2 always seems to have the best attack animations, no matter what. Although Generation 4 did it better with Thunder and Surf in Generation 5. Still, Gen 2 knows how to impress.
