6-8 MEALS vs 2-3 MEALS/DAY - MEAL FREQUENCY

  • One of the most common but quite misguiding advices heard or received from various sources be it online/offline dieticians, trainers or online articles, is to eat more frequent small meals, rather than infrequent large meals, or eat every 2-3hrs, or eat 6-8 small meals/day instead of 2-3 major meals. This would help ramp up the metabolism and in turn help you lose more weight.
    Now, this advice has been there for some time now, but despite of mounting evidence against it and being an extremely impractical and unsustainable advice for most people, it is still being widely given. Unfortunately today, this advice either comes from misinformed dieticians or from supplement companies, who want you to gobble up their protein drinks, bars or weight loss shakes in larger quantities.
    This amazing eBook will tell you the truth behind the concept of multiple meals a day, where it is really needed and where not …

    So glad to hear the truth about meal frequency ... this 5-6 meals concept ruined my first and almost 2 second year of college!!! I sat at home all the time just to prep my meals and if i chose to go to college then i wont be able to save much time to have 5 meals ...But now i seriously wish i knew this earlier my life would be so much easier!! anyways thanks a lot sir!

    Sir I have a doubt as per my experience...
    I don't follow any special diet... I use to eat 3 meals a day + one protein shake.
    I think I consume around 2000 to 2500 calories per day 75 to100grms protein per day. It carries..not every day nor I calculated. Now my doubt is..
    I just divided the same 3 meals to 6 meals plus 1 protein shake . So total 7 meals.
    2 breakfast 2 lunch 2 dinner 1 protein shake average gap of 3 hours.. I didn't added or reduced the quantity of food. I just divided. My workout program also same. Push, pull ,legs, cardio. My weight also not varried 1-2 kg up and down here and there always. My body composition is really changed , my fat percentage reduced and visibility of muscle increased. HOW IT IS HAPPENED? I didn't made any changes other than divided the same 3 meals to 6? No supplements other than 1 scoop whey. PLZ REPLY SIR

      Aryan Gupta numbers mattered, that’s y I was asking the reason.. my 24 hours is same whether I do 3 meals or 6 meals. Only that 3 extra meal time get free if I have only 3 meals😃

    • @knairmahesh
      @knairmahesh Před 4 lety

      pV creation✌ yes that’s true and normal.. u can have more food intake with more no. Of meals.. but my doubt is competently different. I didn’t increase the food quantity when I gone to 6 meal.. just divided the entire 3 meals , no extra exercise or day to exercise.. sleeping time also similar.. but body composition changed.. I observed , the fat storage process of the body is more with high intake of meals at a time....but Akshay sir can explain it scientifically..

      So you are naturally Intermittent Fasting. 16:8 pattern. Skipping breakfast.
      I've lost 11 kgs doing IF skipping dinner (I like my breakfast!). Eat between 8.30 and 4.30.
