#anno1800 #anno117 #citybuilding - Hry
Ubisoft Livestream focused on Anno117 potentially happening on the 18th June !
Are you excited? what gameplay features you really want? which easter eggs did you catch? tell me everything!
I really really hope they are not stupid again and will allow the game on Steam. That's a very important thing for me. Got the Anno 1800 there during pre-release and was glad to catch it as they removed it later on.
right now it doesn't seem to be coming to stream at release according to that page at the end of trailer but they still have time to fix that :)
Very excited. Great breakdown and takes!
Glad you enjoyed!
I wonder if builders of Greece early access was really testing us for this?
I actually showed the demo of another new game in roman times yesterday - that was great teaser - czcams.com/video/fCBCFekH7LI/video.html
FYI - Builders of Greece just got an update
So if I think about it, in the other games they never connected it to a specific 'real-world' civilization, they were all alternate-world conglomerate of civilizations similar to those in our world. Is this the first time they are actually using a precise IRL civilization? If so my only concern is them being hamstrung a bit by specific history, though I think the time period is great.
Previous ones were often somewhat linked like Venice for some olders, British empire for anno 1800 with new world in south america and land of lions in Kenya
BUT yes you are right that this feels like the one which is closest to real-world which I think they did given how attractive the Roman civilisation is in many people's mind but I hope they still use some creative judgment and people don't blame them for that!
@GamerConsultant oh that's true I totally forgot about Venice lol
I mainly want to see big land masses to freely play on … I guess this setting is great for that since the Roman’s were not a sea fairing culture … they did use ships but mostly expanded on land 😅
Yes I definitely think we will have some land to play with - especially in the Latia starting location
Ara: History Untold you see this game ? looks like anno too ..
It's more like Civilisation than Anno but some good content there too yes!
I am dissapointed about the setting. But I think that means I’ve enjoyed many settings. So it looks like there’s loads of people who’ve been waiting for this sort of Anno. And it’s about time those people got what they wanted.
which setting would you have prefered? i would say just keep an open mind- you may be surprised with the gameplay and forget the setting :)
WHY THEY DIDNT GO WITH AT LEAST 1945 SETTING, ANCIENT TIMES IS SO OVERDONE.
First it doesn't sum to 9 but to 19 (1+9+4+5=19), then they have said in the past that recent times are very difficult as very politically charged and lastly ancient times have been done by many but not by Anno and they have been done by many because they actually attract a lot of people :) but there is also the next one!
The next one you mean after 4 years?
And if they announce that it’s coming to the Mac I’m going to lose my mind! I just got a second PC that runs windows JUST because I wanted to play things like anno with the DlC because they didn’t release it on PS5 even 🙈
I don't think Mac is coming ;) and I definitely prefer this type of game on PC than console
@@GamerConsultant I loved it on console it was great and much easier to navigate in my opinion. Since I played on console first and only switched because they said they didn’t have plans to get dlc on there I had to go the windows route and now have to work with 3 different operating systems 🙈 (Mac personal use, windows 10 work, windows 11 gaming) 🙈🙈🙈
-- Oh and for context - Apple announced yesterdays alongside Ubisoft that they are bringing some of their core games to the Mac and even iPad! --
@@ninaandianfan21 yes next Assassin's creed indeed
2025 it will be long to wait even if i don't like the roman period.
there are a lot of other games for us to play in the meantime ;)
finally roman anno!!!
I'm definitely hyped :)
Exited to see what they come up with and for you to play it.
Thanks - I'm definitely excited too
Meh. No interest.
can I ask why? no judgment
@@GamerConsultant that epoch holds little interest for me in strategy games. Very little tech, bland architecture, focus on war (usually). Unless they do something very innovative, thematically I’m just not interested.
@@saosaoldian6742 okay let's see when we get more information - you may be surprised :)
