Question: Do you know what year the NY subway started construction? Was it actually built in the 1800s? Great little video. The rat at the beginning was a nice touch.
1900. Four tracks wide and miles long from the beginning. The elevated rapid transit lines were already 20 - 25 years old by then.
@@trainluvr Thanks, saves me looking it up. I'm lazy lol. It's fascinating that it's that old. I've heard that there are some stations and tunnels that are no longer in use and still there for an adventurous urban explorer.
