They need to use same criteria awarding a stat to a player in same way it has been done since start of NBA . In 1960's a stat wasn't counted as an assist if player did not shoot ball at time he received pass from another. Now they award an assist if player takes 8 steps & dribbles multiple times .
Well, top 3 is obviously Jordan, Chamberlain and LeBron in some order. Then you pick two more from a deep pool. Magic, Bird, Kareem, Russell, Robertson, Durant, Duncan, Hakeem, Kobe, etc.
@@tomriddle8933 I like to think of it as who's in my dream starting five, since I don't like comparing between positions, since they involve different skill sets and roles. My five would be; PG - Magic SG - Jordan SF - Bird or Lebron (depending on my mood; let's say one starts and other is sixth man) PF - Moses Malone C - Jabbar (beats out Wilt due to his superior FT shooting) Obviously, a lot of all-time greats left off, but I'd be more than happy with that group.
@@tomriddle8933 this is why nba is so interesting! One person can have wilt chamberlain is his top 3 with no question while another doesn't have him top 10! Interesting!
He's very good. A combination of skill AND longevity. I don't like using the GOAT label, especially when comparing different position players. But Lebron is definitely in the herd.
He was born in South Africa. That is how he always labels. Dominique Wilkins had the French flag on a different video, because his dad was stationed there while in the military. He only does birth nation
Todays Nba style is the worst ever because when teams score are ect 120 - 110 and witout checking , oviously players can easy make best stats than 90s era with hard checks and defense. This stats are totaly unfair
@@batman_diaries Is it easier to score an uncontested 3 pointer or a contested 2 pointer? The games are just different. In terms of better scorers, best way to compare is 2 pt field-goal percentage. Here's a rank of notable guards, from highest to lowest %; Doncic 55.7 Magic Stockton Curry Nash K. Irving C. Paul Drexler O Robertson Isaiah Thomas Kobe 47.9 As one can say, a mix of the old and the new.
Muggsy! Stayed on there for a few years.

Bob Cousy didn’t fall out of the Top 15 until FIFTY years after he retired! That breaks my brain!
Probably the most untouchable nba record.
Everyone above Magic played way more seasons then he did… if he’s not in everyone’s top 5 players EVER I’d be shocked.

😂lebron is nowhere near a top 10 player little on a top 5
6:02 Who is this John Stockton kid?!?!?!
The top scorer in NBA history is also 4th all time Assists. Whoever this James character is, is really good.
Possibl 2nd by the time he's done. CRazy

I was going to. post a similar comment. He is the only non-guard on the list, and still going strong. 👍🏾 🏀

Steve Nash is Canadian.

Easy to score?? Nope. Better scorers??? Yes. Big men drop 30 even without getting inside. Shaq has shot 1 3pt in his whole career. Not fair? Cry
