OKC was offering him 53 to 54 million [4 years] (or else they would've gone over the salary cap) and the idiot wanted 60 million (max entension). He can only blame himself for that.

It’s really unfortunate that Kyrie demanded a trade. I really enjoyed watching him and Lebron play together as a Cavs fan. If he didn’t leave we could have won another Championship.

Correction, Spurs medical staff did NOT misdiagnose Kawhi Leonard's injury. That was just "Kawhi's team" aka Uncle Dennis and others used as an excuse to force their way out of San Antonio. Isn't it obvious enough that he just wanted to be in LA? It's proof enough that he left Toronto after one season despite Toronto winning the championship.
And Kawhi won the championship despite not being in LA. What Spurs got? Demar DeRozan that doesn't want to play for them. In this case I think he won and Spurs just become mediocre

@@lincolnexists5918 Spurs have never done anything of what you wrote. It was always players first organization and certainly not profit oriented. You should read some history. Pop got 250k fine for not letting Duncan, Ginobili and Parker play, to keep them healthy. That's just one example.

That decision came back to bite him hard as it turned out the Knicks traded the house to get Melo and had little room to sign suitable co-stars and role players to surround Melo. Shame he didn't have the foresight.
The turmoil us Knicks fan has to go through..no luck in trades or signing that could get us past the second round. Still remember how close we were to getting curry. Smh I guess the Melo era was like heaven in the days we had, Mardy Collins, Jared Jeffries, David lee, Renaldo Balkman etc 🥲

Depends on whether or not that team has a good playing environment. It explains why some teams are able to organically grow superstars out of role players whilst others only know how to squander a superstar's prime.

Honestly, the Sixers would have been better off if they didn't trade Ben, Curry and Drummond for an ageing Harden. They should have stared him down and refused any trade until his contract expired. I doubt Ben would be able to play NBA level basketball if he went on a three year hiatus.

Correct about Kareem but can we say part of it was his religious conversion because there were turmoil when Kareem changed his name from Lew alcindor after converting to Islam which drew heat from the bucks organization because they drafted him as Lew alcindor not Kareem.
I noticed with most of these forced Trades they wanted to go to a big market team.. No disrespect to Los Angeles or New York City but what's so special about going to a big market?
