A sight I wouldn’t have expected on your channel: a Zoe!

I’ve been wondering whether to get a used Zoe as a second car. They are quite affordable, but the battery lease is what’s been putting me off. How much did you have to pay to get the Zoe out of the lease?

Does it have a small black toilet in the middle console?

Hi! Greetings from Turkey. I am thinking of buying a 2014 Zoe Q210 at round 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers) for my daily commute which is like 7.5 miles (12 km) but I have doubts whether it is worth getting an 8-year-old EV? How long have you been using the car in the video and how is your experience so far?

Hi. We have had our car over 2 years now. It has covered more than 50,000 miles and has been faultless. You will be fine with only 20,000 miles. However your Renault dealer can provide a battery health check, ours is at 96% from new. They’re great cars and the Q210 can charge up to 43kw. Ours is now over 8 years old.

@@thelifeofbatteries2603 Thanks for the reply. Yes, the car has only been driven 20K miles in nearly ten years so it just sat idle for the most of the time. I am worried if that has contributed to the degradation of the battery. In Turkey, there is an 8-year/160,000 km warranty for EVs so, unfortunately, it has expired for this particular in 2022.

@@bezgin78 Really the only thing that will degrade the battery is if it's been sat fully charged for a long time. I'd get a local dealer to plug it in and get a battery report for peace of mind. You can get a basic idea by fully charging the car and then reset the trip meters, it should show a range of 90 or so miles depending on the temps.
