I have several Civivi knafs and really like them. This one you showed this time doesn’t impress me, though, even if it has a famous designer. Just my 2-cents worth. I’ll stick with my old Praxis….

@PoetFisherman honestly for me is the blade doesn't hold edge retention very well. I've cut a few things and it's already very dull. Also the handle is really cheap and plasticy feeling

@shawnalexander7914 well that sucks. The scales on mine feel like every other G-10 I've handled. As to the blade steel, I wonder if you got a crap heat treatment batch or maybe they burned the edge badly at the factory. Mine's preformed on par with the majority of 14c28n I've had. Maybe I didn't have that issue because I almost always put my own edge on a knife when I get it and never experienced the factory edge.
