Hi, how did this flooring hold up with wear, spills, etc. and would it be possible to replace a section if damage?
I got heavily involved in woodworking a few years ago due to your content. Its good to see you back in the saddle again. Positive vibes to you and your loved ones, you're a Great Dude. Lets Build Together.
There is no therapy better than staying busy doing worthwhile projects like this floor. Sending you support and prayers, brother. Loved the shot of your daughter, which reminded me of my two girls.
There is and God's word will take you to the top.Amen.
I’m sorry for the loss of your relationship and the hardship on your daughter. Even though the reality doesn’t always match the blueprint in our minds, it’s doesn’t change the quality of the father you can be. Thank you for being vulnerable as a man and sharing, for the self work you’ve taken upon yourself to do, and of course for your content. Take care brother
Thank you for sharing your professionalism I love your quality work I'm learning so much
I’m so glad you’re back. I love it when the boss shows up. Keeps you honest. I laid vinyl plank in a bathroom I loved it.
Thanks! Same here, I missed this!
I installed the garage floor tiles in my garage bc of your video. I'm excited to see what else you inspire me to do! Glad to have you back!
That is awesome to hear! Thanks!
@@DIYCreatorssame! So glad I installed the vinyl tiles.
How does it hold up driving a car on it?
@@Michael-nz8dn 10/10. I love the floor tiles. They really made my garage feel like a true extension of my house. Holding up well so far!
@@Michael-nz8dn it works well. Almost 2 years. Zero regrets
I'm totally impressed with your openness with the community yesterday and your project today. You won a new subscriber! Looking forward to what you've got coming down the pike!
I loved how she came in bossin' up. Great stuff, nephew. You inspire us.
So good to have you back Glen. Really missed your content.
Thanks! Happy to get after this again.
It is really nice to see you back.
Thanks! Likewise 😀
You came back strong, Glen! So excited to see what you’ll do next with your workshop. Beautiful flooring!
So happy that you are back!
Good to see you again doing some great work
Hey, thanks
Hey Glen, I'm happy to see you're back! You always deliver great content. Hope you are doing well.
Hey man, thanks! Much appreciated.
so good to see you back working on projects!
Amazing video!! Glad to have you back!
Killer installation! What a huge transformation and yeah... the concrete footers are a challenge and you evened them out, that electric planer did an awesome job... also that resaw on the job site saw. Glad to see you back and that's the way to get back into the groove... It sometimes takes going back to a clean slate for a new beginning both in life and in the shop... it's both a metaphor and a physical reality.
I added vinyl flooring to my garage a few years back. So much cheaper and easier than Epoxy. Looks great too.
@BudoDave76
Do you park cars on it, or is it a workshop?
I’m curious to know how this would hold up to vehicles.
@@rumrun11 I do. I made small piece about 4’x4’ and parked on it for a month with the front tires and saw no blemishes or marring.
So far the only disadvantage I’ve see is that you don’t get the traction you’d get from epoxy.
Only cost about $800 bucks.
@@BudoDave76 good to know, thanks. What is the climate like where you live.
I live in Canada. I’m wondering if this would hold up to a Canadian winter, followed by a reasonably warm summer.
Yes, I could see it being a bit slippery. I wonder if there is some kind of sanded paint or sanded clear coat you could put over top (at least in the area where the tires roll over) to provide a better grip?
@@rumrun11 I’m in So Cal… but… my cousin in Seattle Washington did her garage as well and it’s holding up perfectly. Her neighbors were inspired to do the same.
@@BudoDave76 thanks for the info. Much appreciated 👍🏼
So glad you are back!!!
Good to have you back!!!! Enjoying your video's!
Great to see you back in a happy place mate.
Always!
Great to see you back. Wonderful job on the floor. Really liked the way you trimmed out the door. Can't wait to see how the rest of the garage is going to be finished out.
Great to have you back!
Welcome back Glenn, praying for you brother. Nice work on this project and huge transformation. It’s super satisfying once you get to installing the trim work. Turned out great. 👍
The transformation is incredible. Always inspiring me to take on new projects. It always amazes me how little needs to be done to have a major impact on a space
Looks great. Glad you’re back.
Outstanding! Looks great, Glen!
Looks like another room of the house. Very professional job. I think you'll be happy with the vinyl, we used it for years with 3 german shepherds with little wear and tear. I'm glad to see you're back and can't wait to see more projects!
I love vinyl flooring. I put it in my basement that I’m remodeling. Easy to clean and durable. Great job!! Your space looks awesome!

Great to see you back in the shop doing projects. Always enjoyed your videos. Prayers to you and hope things continue to get better for you. Blessings.
I am so happy you are back posting. Your videos gave me the confidence to start doing work around the house myself. Since then I built my fence and saved thousands of dollars.
Thank you for everything, very good video as always and I might try this for my kitchen redesign!
Rock on!! Glad to see you back on here
Glad to have you back sir.
Great all around job , looks fabulous
Your supervisor did a great job. I watched a video last week where someone installed similar flooring and he had good things to say about it too. I look forward to updates on how it does in your shop. Thanks for sharing.
Great to have you back! Hoping good things for you and your family
Wonderful , Customer looks Happy!
Heck yea! You're back! Excited to see your new projects bro. 👊
Thanks!
So happy to have you back, man! The space looks great and I’m in awe of how calm you are with this stuff, I would have messed up halfway through and have to start again… twice! 😅
I'm so glad you're back! ❤
Happy to see you are back and allow me to learn something.
This is one of the best produced and informative how-to's I have watched. The descriptions and explanations are clear and well spoken. The attention to detail and focus are just what is needed for a professional instructional on vinyl flooring. Good job on the remodel and the video.
Glad to hear you're taking care of yourself. My wife duffers from anxiety and depression and it takes a toll on every aspect of her life. Hopefully everything gets better and you focus on yourself before this channel. Welcome back Glen!!
As always, really good content. We're glad you're back.
Simply beautiful! Welcome back! 🙌🏾🙏🏾😊🖤🤎
I’ve seen your videos in passing before. Ran into your previous one on why you’ve been out. Going through something like that isn’t easy and I know the feeling all to well. Good to see you’re moving forward. Happy to subscribe.
Another excellent job well done and it is so good to see you again welcome back
Thank you! Cheers!
It's nice to see you are back!
Legit happy to see this in my feed. Glad you’re back!!!
Welcome back. I first saw videos of yours quite a few years ago. Always high quality info and well produced content.
Edit: The floor looks great!
Excellent...quite an improvement, will be interested how it holds up. Welcome back!
Thanks! I am looking forward to it as well.
Glad to know you are doing better and to see you back.
Happy to have you back - Look forward to more great content!!
I did vinyl planks for my dog's room. it had concrete slab just like your garage. I would always recommend to measure width of the room before laying; chances are you will want to cut your first row that you lay so that the final row might not end up being a sliver of width. Looks like it worked out fine for you :)
Glad you’re back. Cool project and sharp looking results. I have two durability questions regarding vinyl plank in a garage/shop for you or anyone else who has done this. 1. How well does the planking hold up to concentrated weight created by heavy tools on feet/rollers? 2. How does planking stand up to a parked vehicle, especially to twisting force of tires turning with steering movement?
Glad to see you back!
Awesome job and glad to have you back and healthy
Good to see you back brother…great content as usual
Much appreciated
I haven’t seen your videos in a while. You have great content man.
Hey, thanks!
Glad to see ya back. Love watching your videos
SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU BACK.....
15:50 you need some silicone around that hole and along that transition piece, so rain doesn't get under your flooring and cause a mold issue. P.s. glad you're back. 💖🌞🌵😷
Good point, Thanks, I'll add that to the todo list.
HI Glen, Glad your back and wish you and your family all the best! Also great job on the floor!!
Question: what happened to the husky floor tiles? did they not hold up?
The floor looks great. Really good job.
That's incredible. Solid project. Strong return from the hiatus. You really put in the work for that one. Looking forward to hearing how the floors work out. Looks great.
Glenn - DO NOT put the laminate flooring directly over tile. Yes it will take you a bit longer to do it "correctly", but it will be well worth it. I've been repairing and replacing floors for far too long, and can't tell you the number of times I've replaced horrors. Love the channel, glad to see you back! Remember - the sun rises and sets every day.
I came here to say the same thing. Pull the old tile up. It will save you a lot of heartache.
I agree with you boys 15+ years of doing floors showed me never to take the easy way out lol
I believe he said that he would first float the floor to get it flat and then lay the vinyl floor on top of that. As long as you first scuff u the tiles and prime it properly to get good adhearence, it should work well enough.
Needs 6 mil poly at the minimum or a moisture mitigation system. I have been seeing major issues with LVP and Moisture.
So good to have you back! How does this compare to the other vinyl tiles you installed 2y ago? The looks are amazing... I have installed loose lay planks before inside a house but have always been hesitant to do it in a garage with heavier objects and even a car.
Wonder if he can drive a car on those planks
Welcome back! Great project to reenergize your space!
What an amazing transformation. Glad to have you back 🙏
Dudes garage looks better than some peoples living rooms
I love your content. You explain everything so clearly.
GREAT to see you making videos again, Glenn!
I'm so glad you're back! Great job on the floor.😊
Looks great, you are good! So happy you are back!
Glad to have you back here brother!
Nice to see a new video from you. The space looks much more pleasant to be in.
Glenn, your attention to detail always blows me away. Can't wait to see the shop back together. Thanks for sharing!!!
Very good to have you back
This was a pleasure to watch you work, awesome job 💖
Welcome back Glen! All the best!!!
Good to see you back. Looks great
It looks AMAZING!
I'm glad that you're back. This transformation turned out super awesome, I love it! Looking forward to seeing more projects.
Glad your back! Can't wait for what is to come!
Good to have you back creating content.
WOW ! What a gorgeous job !
Really happy you’re back!
So glad to see you back! You know you have a talent and it should not go wasted. The floor looks great! I never thought about it but it’s probably the best solution for a workshop, so easy to clean the floors.
Glad to have you back. I have always enjoyed your content. Stay healthy.🙏
Awesome video! Great to have you back on your healing process.
