    Thanks for this inspiring and instructional video--Our vanity from the 1990s looks almost exactly like this! I am still trying to decide if it's worth replacing, as we are the owners and are renovating the rest of the bathroom. I am thinking of replacing the top, sink and faucets, though the epoxy looked pretty good.

    Hi Erin, thank you for this video... super helpful !! But I feel the need to tell you that wearing a half or even full face respirator is very important using products like this. A dust mask or medical mask is totally not the protection required when using a product like this. Goggles that seal on the edges around your skin is also important to protect your eyes :) Look after yourself while being a boss lady with your amazing work !!

  • @Khodam101
    @Khodam101 Před 2 lety +1

    Thanks for the video, quick Q though, I followed your instruction and used epoxy on my kids bathroom. I saw it gets stains after a week and a small chip. Do you think I should have used another paint to seal it? Not sure what I did wrong, we let it dry up for a week before we used the sink again!?

    • @tracyb3198
      @tracyb3198 Před 2 lety

    Hello Erin, I have a question for you, off the subject of cabinets.
    Do you know or remember the color you used in the hallway. I’m in the process of painting my kitchen and finding it extremely difficult to find a paint color. I am drawn to greys with a tint of blue (I think) but every paint color I have bought does not look good and I have tried a few. I finally settled on one and it is blue, not what I wanted. Much appreciation for your help. I love what you did with the bathroom and never thought of using that appliance spray paint.

    • @ErinSpainDIY
      @ErinSpainDIY  Před rokem

      The hallway is actually painted white, the lighting just makes it look gray. But if you want something similar to the color it looks like, it actually looks similar to Benjamin Moore's Gray Owl which I've used several times and love.

      We sold this place shortly after this makeover. I would say this isn’t a long term solution, especially for a bathroom that sees a lot of use, but it’s a great money saving option for the short term if you can’t afford to replace an old vanity.
