For 14 years all Loki would do is talk about how much he wanted the throne, that it was his birthright. At the precise moment when he wanted it the least, the throne was given to him, but it cost him his friends. The most heartbreaking way to grant his wish, his glorious purpose
So did loki became/create the yggdrasil and this how the legend of yggdrasil came to be? Since tva exists outside of time and yggdrasil is also outside of time no past, present or future. Could that be how yggdrasil came to be in the mcu? Back when thor mentioned the yggdrasil to Jane that's holding all of existence and realms together. Was that created by loki all along?
@@iamdarkphantom no, the Yggdrasil IS time, its all time was, will be, and can be. And loki now controls that
@@theultimatep1e40 yeah but how that came to be? Loki exists outside of that time. The end is the beginning and the beginning is the end. There is no time where loki is. How is it that he isn't the one who created the yggdrasil in the first place?
@@iamdarkphantomI don’t think it’s that he created it, more like he helped give it form and shape. HWR called it his Loom, Asgard called it Yiggdrasill, the TVA thought it was one Sacred timeline. It was yet is, never was yet always will be;exists. So regardless that it forms at the end, it will always lead into its new beginning; a snake biting its own tail.
Technically 19 years
"The Hardest Choices Require The Strongest Wills" Thanos
Thanos sacrifices his hand for the snap and Loki sacrifices his freedom
ONE of the best character arcs imo
Odin would have been proud
Odin was, always has been, and is--from wherever he is watching--proud.

Valhalla
Freja too
He knew. He’s always known. It was just his job to raise him
Thor, odin and freya all three of them would be proud of him
"For you. For all of us."
We have come full circle.
I wonder if Odin knew all along what Loki was meant to do 🤔.
The door finishes the statement for him.
"For you. For all of us. For all time. Always."

the best part is tom hiddleston came up with that line. he was super invested in Loki as a character
Loki and Nebula development from villians to lovable heroes are so fascinating and amazing. Their journey throughtout the MCU doesnt feel forced and is one of the major highlights of the franchise
They’re apart of my top 5 favorite mcu marvel characters because of that
Does anybody really like Nebula though?
She never came off as a villain more a rogue character angry teen @ggeerrppeess
Bros comparing Loki to nebula 💀
Why is it that the villains in the MCu currently have become more entertaining than the heroes???
I hope Thor gets to see how his brother turned out, I think he'd be proud of him.
break the space/time continuum further. original timeline Thor saw Loki get strangled.
@@seanwilson531 I feel like the continuum is already at the point where Thor seeing Loki again isn't going to be a big problem. Besides, it's Loki. They'd just assume he faked his death for the thousandth time.
Literally the only MCU show without an underwhelming final episode
I wouldn't say the WandaVision finale was underwhelming, though
@@shimanopetermann9068 I loved WandaVision, but the last episode was definitely the worst. Sadly, it's true, this is the ONE MCU series out of all of them where the last episode wasn't a rushed CGI-riddled climax followed by overly safe resolution.
Agreed, all the finales are usually a wet fart, even when the show is good
@@shimanopetermann9068 yeah wandavision was also one of the few i enjoyed. I liked the vision vs vision fight scene. The other series are meh
MoonKnight kicked ass for me
Odin was right " they are both born to be kings."
Thor - King of Asgard
Loki - King of the Multiverse
IKR, and at the end loki become a real king because just as odin said, loki didn't searched a war but instead wanted to prevent one 😢
Everything is written years ahead the directors and actors just have to tweak and make it happen well
I like to think of Loki as having evolved from the god of mischief to the god of time here
1. Learns to control time itself
2. Literally replaces one of the main things holding entire timelines together
@@WaterDragonGames4he’s the god of stories from the comics tho.
@@harube-tz6ww it also works, I'm just saying that in his show he basically becomes the god of time, or at least god of timelines
Sylvie teases the kang wars and multiversal wars, by saying “who is it for you to say we can’t die fighting” so that’s what Loki does, he gives himself to allow the multiversal timeline and hope for them to die fighting for their timeline
"He's giving us a chance."
“You have no idea what I’m capable of” - mobius be like damn he’s right
Yeah I think it’s safe to say this is one of if not the greatest ending to anything in the mcu
*any piece of media
@@henryhutch_07 understandable
Isn't it ironic The God who saved them all and gave them a chance couldn't save himself nor was given a chance
It’s his destiny follows the lore of Loki to a T
The ironic thing is god don't save them but a human and a devil did that because loki is a devil for multiverse who has attacked by him
I don't give up the possibility that he'll be free from the tree some day and finds peace after all he's done for everyone 🙏
I say goodbye to Loki, and goodbye to the whole Marvel cinematics universe. The last masterpiece of MCU movie

Truth
Iron Man beginning his journey by - "I am Iron Man"
Ending his journey - "I am Iron Man"
Loki beginning his journey by - "For you, for all of us"
Ending his journey - "For you, for all of us"
Since Loki is a God, he doesn't get disintegrated by the time.
Instead, it just made him more and more powerful, as Gods become stronger over time.
1:03 "Welcome, He Who Remains"
I noticed it.
holy crap, I did not notice that the first time. or more accurately it just went over my head.
That ending will always give me goosebumps
IFKR 😢
The most amazing thing is that Tom made up that line “I know what god I need to be. For you, for all of us” 30 mins before the take.
Yess. The fact he was just listening to soundtrack from previous Thor films to catch inspiration while he was jogging and that itself reminded him of the quote from Thor 1.. it just proves that Tom has the broadest knowledge and memory in the entire MCU cast, only second to Kevin Feige himself. Absolute chad.
@@Altherotoh yes we know he adores and respects his own role like a real another being in this world. Tom is truly amazing
He proved himself to be a true hero.
Loki returned my interest in the marvel universe then madam web was released.
madam web is a sony movie it has nothing to do with the mcu
Correction: then the marvels was released.
Madam web isn't even from mcu
The Marvels wasn’t even that bad. Minus the flerken kittens Vore scene. That was disgusting, but the rest of the movie was fine.
Didn't watch it, didn't happen
Whenever Thor finds out about what Loki did I bet he would be the proudest brother
You can see loki becoming older here, and asgardians become stronger when older.
Yaknow what sucks the most about this ending? Nothing from a technical or creative aspect to be clear. What sucks is thematically Loki, not only in the MCU-but the character in review, has gone through monumental changes that have been so well written and paired with phenomenal acting from Tom Hiddleston. What hurts the most is he (Loki) finally understood what it felt like to have friends and family you loved, that you would do anything for just so they would be happy, healthy, and loved. Now, Loki is trapped in a universe where he will witness all the triumphs and travails, love and loss of his family and friends, but never be able to appreciate or enjoy those moments despite knowing he is the most powerful being in the galaxy, possibly the Universe. The character went from "Dominating because I can" to "Helping because I should" and SAVED THE FRIGGIN UNIVERSE(S).
Greatest ending ever for a TV show ever? Arguably, yes. I. Think. So.
Greatest Character Arc on par with Jesse Pinkman, Zuko, Pryzbylewski, and Bubbles (from the wire), and more? I think Loki sets a new standard.
I would have no problem debating for hours on end why Loki may be one of the best fictional characters put to screen and why this show is a display of some of the greatest writing you will ever hear/watch/listen to in your life.
Bubbles? Like power puff girls? Please elaborate good sir

Those 13 year more for only this build up is just AMAZiNG
Describing Yggdrasil with multiverse branches was crazy! W visual effect team👏👏
And thus Loki created Yggdrasil, the world’s tree
When Loki said "i know what god i have to be" and he did, his loki god of story's of all the time lines, remember tomb raider what did lara croft father said to her, "one sacrifice is worth saving millions" or more like the universe or even the time and space from a other universe/multiverse.
I had a stroke while reading this
Uhhh… yeah buddy, yeah… 🙂😐
I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose
"You are burdened with glorious purpose, but... Not all purpose is glorious."
@@RoboLivestreams so damn true
Was very happy with this season
Yo I'm wondering if the Valhalla (afterlife) shown in thor love and thunder is actually another universe too? 🤔
Loki was for me the end of the era of good marvel stuff
That's what people said about Endgame. Why can't people stop being so absolutist about stuff and just admit that the MCU has highs and lows and that other stuff worth watching will come in the future? First Endgame was the last good thing, then it was No Way Home, then it was Loki, and by next month people will be saying Deadpool 3 is the last good MCU property. Just enjoy something good when it happens, stop being so pessimistic just to fit in with the cynical online crowd. People have been bellyaching for 4 years now about the MCU being "done," and it isn't, so enough of that.
All of this is coming from haters and grifters that want to profit marvel hate. If you don't like a project move on, and watch something from it that interests you.
The music at the very end killed the vibe
The insane thing jn first scene is Sylvie dying. All universe exist, but we have pov from Loki that can manipulate time as also manipulate timeline. It was terrifying from our 3d perspective, but not for Loki that has 5d to 6d perspective.
No only kang , reverse flash can do that
“He who remains.” The name Makes sense why there will only be one of him. No matter how many versions there are. There will always be, he who remains. It’s what pervious one did.
4:13 he just... c-c-created... Yggdrasil. 😰
mumma would be soo proud of her little wizard
3:19 Shuri: "WHAT ARE THOOOOOOOSE?!"
I think this ending works so well because theyres no big battle. Its purely something visually stunning and notable for the storyline of the verse without a drastic level of conflict needed to push it to the forefront like every other marvel story
This was the best marvel series of all they've released
Heartbreaking that Loki’s last line was the same as his last line in the first Thor movie
For all of the rest of the MCU , Loki wanted a throne and he waged wars and killed people for it. But now he has to take this throne which he do not want to save all the people in existence.
The parallel between Loki opening the door and Thor opening the forges of Nidavallir...
4:19 Loki will eventually return.
But he will be recast because Tom Hiddleston retired from the MCU.
@@MrSharkSaver50he never said that. In fact he said it would be "unwise at this point to be conclusive of anything"
Great ending, though its also concerning considering how often Loki looses, if that happens here than all of existence ends
I think Loki kept losing, because he wanted to be, what he couldn´t be. But when he accepted, who he is, he won.
True win is never a matter of pleasure, but a mixed bag of various feelings, including feelings of sadness and loss.
@@Morpheus-pt3wq more: he never had a glorious purpose to fight for. now he has one. And that is why he wins.
Get you a homie that will sacrifice their godhood to turn the multiverse into a Yggdrasil.
I’m not crying you are
This has to make Loki worthy of picking up mjolnir
This kinda reminds me of the Avengers Cartoon show where they are facing Thanos with all the infinity stones and when he uses the time stone against Thor and Thor says; "The passage of time only makes Asgardians more powerful"
when loki grabs the very 1st timeline i knew he is pretty much the most powerful in the MCU and literally hold the MCU together
The God of Stories.
A man anchored in time, finally found
I do wonder if Loki, Sylvie, or Mobius will appear in future films. I mean, I feel like it'd be a waste if she wasn't a more significant part of the war with Kang.
I think sylvie could be important in future movies and series because she could be a bridge between the heroes on secret wars and loki's will. She will make sure about don't waste that chance that loki give them 😢
I think they all will. At some point the incursions will start/ the multiverse will be in the balance and Sylvie will fight for it and for free will. I still hope she and Thor (and Mobius) will rescue Loki after a time so that he can find peace in the real world after all he's done for everyone ❤️🔥🙏
❤
How this scene left me speechless
I’m late, but I always wanna say Thor would love this. He would be so happy his brother made the hard choice.
GLORIOUS PURPOSE!!!
Hope if they ever make Thor 5or 6 years from now if they kill Thor off it happens in a way that this Loki can visit as a cameo in the same costume and comfort Thor in his dying moments so he isn't alone on some planet after fighting off an enemy so that others could escape kind of scenario. (IMO thats where Thors ark is headed anyway)
But can just picture a nice scene Thor realizing he has moments left and a hand on his shoulder with Loki appearing and just saying 'you're not alone for this brother I'm with you' with some other call back to the first trilogy would really cement Thors end up there with captain americas and iron mans.
Keep the cameo as quiet as possible it would be a really great way to end Thor in the current MCU
OMG now it's in my mind 😢
Thanks For Watching ❤
The ending song should have been mary on a cross by ghost...but the tiktok edit.....beautifully haunting....
That scene would have fit so well in avengers secret war
Glorious purpose
My God

The Tree of Time?
Yes bro!
@@Steniyo Yggdrasil "the world tree"
Now that’s what you call a big sacrifice..I promise you if Thor was to have his hammer Loki would be 10000% worthy now
Well loki you got your wish. You wanted a throne, you got it. It ain't asgard but doesn't mean it isn't honorable
Goodbye, Tom Hiddleston.
It was shown that without the loom the universes were dying. That begs the question, what sabalized the universes before the loom? I think the multiverse war destroyed whatever natural process created the timelines or, maybe he who remains sabotaged the natural mechanisms of the universe to create a reliance on his technology. Now, without something (or someone) to hold everything together, reality unravels like what we saw in the show.
It's not "without the loom", the loom was destroying timelines, not saving them. Kang straight up says it.
And after loom is destroyed we have second problem, multiversal war between Kangs. Loki takes place of the loom to prevent it.
Which begs the question, if TVA succeeds in their neutering Kangs business, will Loki be free?
my man really halved the thor fanbase
He can fix that by not stopping alliath
Only Tom Hiddleston can be Loki my friends. We really know it. Thanks.
Well at least silvy never learns a lesson
How long it take Loki to realize.... That he's actually controlling nothing and he's actually been TRAP and INCARCERATED there by Kang's own plan.
you havent watched the show didnt you?
I didn't watch season 2, can someone tell me what is he doing here ?

He is worthy of Milognir Now
The real question is, how is Kang going to get past him?

Bound to Yggdrasil until the real Ragnarok
they make him bad ass in the tv show for what. to make him get his ass kicked 2 minutes into a marvel film, within the next 5 years? keep it consistant and let him have all the skill he has in this series keep it in the films. or what are they going to have some thing stupid happen 5 minutes into the new films where he haqs no more powers i bet.
stop cutting the scene
This Loki vs Saturnyne ,who wins?
God Loki looks so dumb in that outfit
I get its meant to be one of the comic designs And showcase his growth where he doesn't need to be flashy over the top by wearing gold etc but still it could of Really been improved pretty easily like not making the headpieces stick so far away from his head before the horns start or having the top sash over the chest be smaller/higher up like a scarf, by having something around the waist/stomach to split up the design... I dunno it just looks so silly lol
Magically, could someone explain how Loki was able to achieve this?? He never seemed that powerful in the movies..
because the movies nerfed him a lot, Loki is powerful but the movies only have him using basic illusions and knife lol
over the course of this season he slowly masters his timeslipping ability, basically giving him control over all time.
Another thing is, Loki was time slipping for 100s of years at this point, Asgardians, or these Norse gods get stronger as they age. He was able to get way stronger than he previously was because of this, he was put in positions that tested his power.
If you carefully watch the show -- in particular the second season -- you'll note that it takes place over hundreds of years in total. That's usually a lot of time for a god to improve his skills and abilities.
Can I use your clip? I will give you credit
creo que no eres muy inteligente cortas el final osea la mejor parte
Which is?
So we can Blame Loki, if dead pool flops 😅
Amazed by season 2, annoyed by season 1.
Season 2 so thoroughly blew my expectations out of the water that it retroactively made me like season 1 a little bit more -- if anything, the reason being that it is part of Loki's truly remarkable arc, which, was an experience I'm grateful for.
How is he going to shit and pee and eat and exercise sitting on the chair.
