It doesn't get cooler than this. My man MADE A FREAKING CAPE OUT OF DAMNED SPIRITS WHILE CONTROLLING A DEAD BODY OF A VERSION OF HIMSELF FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSE WHILE BEING IN ANOTHER UNIVERSE
You can’t narrow that down it’s exactly as crazy as it sounds
@@danielram0s1347ey, it is called the multiverse of madness
Other universe Strange dies to monster sent by the Scarlet witch but then gets taken over by his other universe self who is in ANOTHER universe to defeat the one who caused his death in the first place… in a universe that was not his own.
Would be better if the writing wasn't so dogshit
Meh, the spirits can fly, yet one kick and they stay down.
Plus the timed delay, also not being able to fight off the spirit.
Therefore no ending apart from madness winning that is actual cannon.
Why?
Because in these stupid fucking movies they are always losers taking too long and suffering, however since this movie is a peice of shit, there isn't any immediate realisim behind interactions despite how normal they are to our perception within this life.
TLDR:
movie sucks (Terrible acting and story + shitty super hero movie) and you needa fuckin grow up.
There was no cape, they simply followed him, however what you are witnessing never happened nor would it happen anyway the same if realistic.
Sam Raimi nailed it. The weirdest and among the best of the MCU movies.
I'm so glad this film wasn't trying to hide its horror... The fact that it embraced it, instead, made it so much better
I loved the Illuminatis death lmao
@Kamran Khan Seeing the undead version of Dr. Strange being bullied by skinny shadowy shades sucking the life out of him while his body is convulsing isn't really on the same level of family friendly as Spider-Man: Homecoming. We see Boltron's head explode and just fall to the ground mushy and bleeding from the nose. The scenes were the bleeding and limping Wanda chases Strange, Christine and America Chavez is pretty scary too, imo.
I think that the horror part of the film clearly is present and obvious. Now whether it scared you or not is not the point. It didn't scare me but I still clearly saw the intent in the creation of a horror atmosphere.
And that's what makes this such a unique film. It's not a superhero movie or hell even a Dr. Strange movie ... persay. It's an Evil Dead film. Raimi was let off his leash and thank god for that.
I hope so badly that we get more of this darker, crazier, power fantasy that is Dr. Strange. Him overcoming the demons and using them as a cape was absolutely one of the coolest things I've ever seen in any Marvel movie to date. I really hope for more movies like this one.
Unfortunately Marvel made Sam Raimi tone it down and cut so many parts. The movie was supposed to be full on horror.
The demon cape is my absolute favorite part of this. Just unbelievably cool
It looks basically like gael cape in dark souls 3
Easily my favorite part of the movie because the audience knows exactly what he’s going to do and raimi sets it up so perfectly from the very beginning. Plus just seeing the body come up and the evil spirits condemning him only for strange to be like fuck that you serve me! Hahaha I love it
Definitely! Although idk why but I wished they made the strange variants the main antagonists for these films
This film*
@@stephenohalloran3378 actually the villain was suppose to be someone else other than Scarlet Witch but ig they really have to take her off the screen temporarily so the MCU don't have a reality warper roaming around with humans freely, i think they gonna bring her back like a last hope in the future avengers.
@@87P13 that really was poor writing
@@dylanpyle6500 it sure is.
this is raimi. he can make an underwhelming, bad script into such a fun, visually memorable movie
Exactly my thoughts right out of the cinema!!
Bad script?
I call bullshit, dude!
This movie was badass!
Bad script? Lies

- I need my kids to live again
- Wanda, How about we use the DarkHold to find a universe where your children are alive?
-No, i need the power of her.
-What do you think if you teach her to use her power and she does you a favor?
-but my children could die and...
-I have the gem of time, you a book of magic ancestral darkness and she travels through universes, we can invent a button to go back to a previous moment or create a new dimension where they live and if they die they are revived.
- oh.........ok
Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness (2022)
Mid script
I love how the damned souls think they have the authority to condemn Strange as if they weren't literally doing worse shit to be sent to Hell.
I think they’re more akin to demons than sinners.
Wanda might be naturally gifted and had no Covent but Strange is still the master of the mystic arts.
He still lost this battle though even with wong by his side
@@Jranthony04 Only because the writers needed him to lose.
@@jeremiahnoar7504 Wanda is still stronger 😂
@IndayVelasco-kv6re sure she is, but no one cares. Dr Strange is less powerful and still most people find him more interesting than her.
@@jeremiahnoar7504 wdym wandas fanbase grew just by one tv series "WandaVision" And she's one of the most recognizable character in the whole mcu
I love Sam Raimi for embracing his horror roots for this film. ❤️
there was nothing scary about this dog shit of a movie? wtf r u talking about disney shill
Raimi’s direction CARRIED this movie
This was a stupid movie tbh

Guys u cant deny, this film was cool af. Not a very good script, but insanely badass.
I'll deny. It was corny and the effects sucked ass.

The way they've been going with strange it seems they're slowly turning him into an anti hero who's more and more willing to break the rules to save the day. I really hope that they go through with that and don't just excuse all his actions cuz "he's the hero". I think that would be a really cool development for the character.
It's rumored that Kang will be the 'hero' in Kang Dynasty, while Doctor Strange will be the 'villain'.
The comics are even better. Once he needed to operate and do roadside surgery on a child. But his hands were basically useless. So he made a deal with a demon that by chance he could either regain the use of his of hands, but he was at risk of never being able to use magic again. It was like a 1 in 1 billion chance. He regained the use of his hands and was able to maintain the use of magic.
As a sorcerer, he's suppose to break the laws of nature
@@hritviknijhawan1737oh woahh
Def just need to make him the leader of the avengers
I'm telling you ts was BADASS the first time I saw his Cloak of the Damned, hit me like a punch I was astonished, I'm like wtf is he doing BOOM arms, darkness, cloth, submission, power, control it was awesome
OMG NO WAYYYY THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!
You can accomplish this in real life and turn them into other weapons or absorb them like Pac-Man.
The fact that the zombie popping out is a little low rent and crappy had me dying 😂😂
Followed by that corny ass "Go back to hell!" line lmao
That screamed Army of Darkness to me.
Its very Evil Dead and I love it
It's not low rent, it's a callback to all of Raimi's Evil Dead movies. No other MCU director has a cult following like him.
And then the electric guitar power chord when Strange had his realisation 😂 too good
I don't care what anyone says, every penny I spent to watch this movie in theater is worth it
Dr Strange defying death itself. Some of the best of Marvel's moments.
I think those black spirits weren’t as evil as they seemed. Not only did they explain that what he was doing was forbidden but they gave him an opportunity to stop without punishing him.
The script is certainly flawed, but Raimi is a genius of visual storytelling. This movie has easily some of the most visually impressive Marvel scenes. Just imagine if he had the freedom he did on Spidey 2.
Gotta love how much of a 180 heel-turn it was for those spirits. From picking on his limp body like vultures and dog-piling on his dreamwalking corpse, to vainly trying to flee be used as a sentient poltergeist cape.
What a delivery on that line, the wink. God I love him as Doctor Strange
When he took flight with those spirits as his cape I completely lost it 🤣
The guitar lick when he opens his eyes, so sick
MOM & Guardian Vol 3 have been the best movies since endgame
uh...Did you forget Spider-Man No Way Home?
Totally awesome scene featuring Zombie Strange. This movie in general is was engaging from the start. But seeing Zombie Strange totally put a smile on my face.
This scene was essentially what a live action Marvel Zombies show/movie would look like
This is why you hire Sam Raimi. I love his style!
Those spirits are creepy, yet they have funny voices
Truly the Raimi style
When there's Sam Raimi, you can always expect horror elements.
2:54
"So that's what it does."
- Coulson
I understood that reference. And Doctor Strange had no idea how to use that thing. Probably still doesn't have an idea.
Homie really became the most badass necromancer in an instant
I wish more movies dared to be this cool.
Yeah, this is Dr. Strange. He’s always done crazy shit like this and always bending the rules like Wanda said
It's the motivations behind breaking them that makes a difference. Wanda might have destroyed the Multiverse through Incursions had she gotten America Chavez's power to traverse the Multiverse.
I genuinely like this movie. Sam Rami being the director made scenes like this beyond memorable
One of my favourite scenes in the Multiverse
I like when he say "who said they have to be living?"
"In the body of the living or dead, YOU ARE UNCHANGED STRANGE!"
My favorite part in the movie alongside the Illuminati fight scene and the Kamar-Taj ambush! 😊♥️
Man this giving me the vibes of dr strange animated movie that i watched in halloween it was amazing
1000000% the best part of the movie god I wish Raimi did this more in this movie
Marvel: "Sam, can you make a new Marvel movie?"
Sam: "Can I make a new Sam Raimi movie?"
Marvel: "...sure?"
This is the best scene of the whole movie! And its all thanks to Sam Rami!!
He is truly TOO GOOD for Marvel!!
Necromancy is _not_ evil if you use it on T-Rexes. Or yourself.
Sue may not be all that smart, but she's quite old.
Is that a Dresden files reference?
3:01 Remember that item from the first movie? Kaecilius sure does 😂
I thought this movie was pretty fricking dope because of scenes like this
ye better than movies like quantummania where the saving grace is literally the last few min of the movie
@2Chimps1Dart by ending i obviously meant the post credits my brother even i hated the non consequential ending
@2Chimps1Dart also dude his tech was damaged by those ants thats why he couldnt fight of ant man properly remember that kang in himself is just a human who has timetravelled from the future to bully the past with advanced tech without which hes just your average joe . he aint a supervillain like thanos who had the stones so u cant compare
Movie is good but Dr.Strange looks weak here and too much "family"
you must be like 8 years old, along with all the other people who think this movie is good
marvel has to send a lifetime suppy of icyhot to sam raimi for carrying this movie that back pain is no joke
I know the script was bad but I had a super fun time with this film, especially since it was Raimi who was directing it.
0:28 This gives Hoccus Poccus vibes, Billy Butcherson's resurrection
I really liked the horror elements in this movie!
Wanda coming out from mirror dimension
Snapping the neck of professor x
Strange dreamwalking as zombie strange possessing the ghost cape
Its sam raimi movie afterall😀
I guess wizards rot a lot faster than regular people. He sure was decayed for only being dead for a day or two
Time is subjective
The creature at the beginning of the movie infected 617 Strange with something that caused his body to start deteriorating. Look at his right leg after he gets impaled there.
It was a body from another universe. There's no way to know how it interacts with this universe, maybe the soil here makes it rot faster ir something
617 Strange was infected by the ribbon creature at the beginning of the movie. That's why he was decaying faster.
Strange is such a rock star here 😂
Holy shit.. Him making a cape out of them was cool as shit!
0:30 Gotta love that Dracula homage.
Old school horror baby!!
Man the face he made screams Ash Williams
You mean the Pizza Poppa??
"I don't even wanna know!" - Wong
If the whole film was as over the top as this scene, it would've been great
I always get the necromancer Diablo vibe, cool.😍
Rise... Zombie Dr. Strange🧟♂️!!
There's cool, and then there's Zombie Strange with a cape of souls cool.
The fact that the Dark Spirits are acting like a light-hearted version of the Deadites makes it look even better.
I'm happy this film was made. Such an imagination and the ending was left open to where you can see

The vintage frame of his eyes lit by a thin stripe of light was absolutely classic
Best scene in the whole movie
Great movie very good Dr strange 2 perfect
Another form So badass and cool
Evil spirits: we came here to kill him, not to become his wing men
3:24 It’s Strangin Time!
I think Marvel should hand their every project to Sam raimi
Best scene in the movie
Its like the ancient one said "Sometimes one must break the rules to serve the greater good".
Sometimes nobody see it that way but its true.
There’s a lot of lost potential with magic fighting, but I genuinely love this movie, wholeheartedly.
I love that this movie is "evil dead" but when pros summon and use dark spirits.
That scene was metal af.
And then all they did to Wanda was go ooga booga booga.
Courage: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Who said they had to be living?😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
"Processing a dead body is forbidden"
Taweret: LOLZ
This movie could have been great if Raimi had more creative freedom.
Dreamwalking into the dead Strange was nicely set up yet still a surprise in the end.
I don't care what anyone says this is the best MCU movie ever
Bring Sam Raimi back for Secret Wars
Feels exactly like the evil dead all over again
I loved all the references and when ash showed up I was like “NO WAY!!”
Just without the tree
"Possessing a dead body is forbidden."
Is it really though, if the body is your own? Stephen Strange is possessing.....Stephen Strange.
You can tell that this is when the studio went, “Raimi do what you do best.”
this is really raimi classic .. hes really bring back the old horror vibes to this Dr Strange Movie 😂😂😂 …
The one major war crime with this scene: No heavy metal music!
I mean, Doctor Strange is even throwing up the devil horns! 🤘🤘
it just occured to me the zombie body would not be as decomposed as it is bc in the movie it's like a week at most that the other strange is dead for
They can make the excuse of "different Strange, different decomposition rate".
You can see that the ribbon monster rots Defender Strange's wounds when it stabbed him, so his corpse would really decompose faster
I loved him in hocus pocus.
I love the little nod to "The Evil Dead."
That is sick man
The only thing this scene was missing was "THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK!"
Most metal cinematic cloak, and I will die on this hill
I feel like naming the Cloak of the damned
I had to pee so bad during this part. I was so tempted to just piss in a cup in the middle of the theater. I didn't want to miss a single second of it.
When Sam Rami forgets he making a MCU movie and goes back to his horror roots, we get this amazing work.
what is horror about this
Bruh this was mid
1:40 Sam Raimi bringing out his Evil Dead Aesthics right there.
That was a straight up Esconar line….”Who decided that?”
I'm surprised he started to decompose so quickly. Doesn't the movie take place over a couple of days.
I will forgive that awful ice cream song those kids sang, because this moment kicked so much ass.
Multiverse of Madness what just The Evil Dead MCU edition ❤
Man’s got some screamin demons
It doesn't get more Raimi than this.
“Stephen Strange, possessing a dead body is forbidden.”
Now he’s got beef with Mistress Death.
