When an ex F1 driver says he holds his breath because its acceleration is so fast, faster than an F1, I can only imagine how insanely scary it must be to drive this car
yes, I've done probably a 2.1 0-60 in a plaid before, and you legit cannot breathe, especially if you're not expecting it, it's scary fast. now take .7 off that shit must feel like time travel
If you crash this thing, they can burry you directly with the car as a coffin.

@@dove3853Why would a god kill himself for the sins of his people though? He's the god, no? Couldn't have just forgave them and save humanity this show? I don't think so. That's mainly because Jesus was not a god, but a prophet of the one true God. And God did not let his prophet be killed and crossed, He rather took him up to the sky, for Jesus will be sent back to save humanity at the end of times.
God did not makes humans sinners and then went ahead to sacrifice himself for their sins. He created human beings who are born righteous, and only diverge as they grown up and be influenced by their surroundings.
If you want salvation, you gotta follow the path message that God bestowed to his prophet Jesus, and Moses and Abraham before, and later to prophet Muhammed. The message of oneness, of monotheism, of one and only God.

How can you say that it accelerates fast? By this video it needs at least 5 second only to start moving? My car after 5 sec will be already far ahead. And with this downforce mechanism this car will never be street legal, no car racing legal, so what is purpose of this little car?

The problem is this thing is electric and that means it’s useless for the apocalypse. I think this thing is just meant to be a cool super fast car, but very very little practical use.

Wow! I was thoroughly impressed with the speed of this car - it truly lives up to its name and could easily be called a 'Fighter Car.' The design seems to have taken inspiration from fighter jets and the swift bird, Apus apus, and I suspect that the bird logo of McMurtry on the car is the same bird. The acceleration is incredibly smooth and it feels like the car disappears in the blink of an eye. Overall, I thought it was a great review of a truly stunning car.

Close on the birds, it's not an Apus Apus but a Peregrine Falcon, a bird of prey, and the fastest animal on earth. Same rationale behind it though!

I have been absolutely mesmerized in blown away by this car since the first time I saw it and have literally been obsessed with it ever since. This might be one of the greatest cars ever designed not only aesthetically, but mechanically. This car is just absolutely in a league of its own. Cheers and thank you to McMurtry for making this possible.

It's very interestingly / oddly proportioned because it's so tiny and short, so the normal-sized wheels just look MASSIVE and it kinda looks a bit toy-like (although it's clearly VERY serious)

i get that its the quickest 0-60mph car ever. but is it in production yet or can you order one yet, unlike the dodge demon 170 doing a 0-60mph in 1.66s?
You are right. It does not seem to be in production and there are seemingly no planned production numbers yet, so this is no more of a production car than a dragster yet, and thus certainly not the fastest car at all. But it may be the fastest accelerating road car ever made (not sure). Very impressive car either way.

The appearance is gimmicky - as in made for a Batman movie - but I doubt any of it is unnecessary. Congratulations to all who were involved in dreaming up this car and making those dreams a reality. That is a great achievement by itself.

Fun fact: the fastest land vehicle is the Thrust SSC which goes 763mph and is the first land vehicle to officially break the sound barrier and according to google the car is in the Coventry Transport Museum which is in Coventry, England.

The seating position almost looks like that of a recombinant bicycle. Simply amazing performance and fascinating tech for keeping car on the ground at higher speeds. Kudos to Alex for actually getting into this car. Not an easy task. lol 👍😊
the design is very good looking, the mirrored/inverted head and tail lights are iconic. it's a bit compact, would love to see a version with monster truck wheels, a heart-shaped bed and the most pointy missiles for aesthetics.

If it wasn't limited to 160mph? This would do low 7s easily enough. It can hit 0-150mph in just over 5s.

All it needs is a hot swappable battery and it will win a 24h race. Battery could be upsized a bit to deal with the heat and long straights better.
With acceleration that quick, I wonder if there is a chance of momentarily losing visual acuity.

Amazing, innovative, and even beautiful... And equally crazy. Can you imagine that thing on a gravel road? NOPE. Great fun, though! Yikes, driving that far would beat me up! With two tonnes of downforce, there must be some real increase in rolling resistance, incredible suspension stress, and significant power is being used as a vacuum cleaner. Yep, just a bit crazy. Still pretty, though.
