Good observation but what a lot of people who come from poor countries don’t realise is that although countries like England look good, we have other problems. Very very high cost of living, endless bills, fines, and scams plus if u do have nice stuff, people wanna steal it, street gangs, violence, insurance for everything even your pets. This causes a lot of stress. People here suffer a lot from stress related illnesses like cancer, heart disease etc, people dying young etc. The streets here are not paved with gold and immigrants soon realise that once they’ve lived here for a few years. There r problems all over the world - just different kind of problems

When I was young I briefly worked with a mate. It would be snowing and he would smoke in an original Mini. I would wind the window down because of the smoke and complain about it and he would complain about the cold.

I had two in front of me once play baseball bat, seven iron over absolutely nothing, one guy cheekily overtook on some chevrons, there was a big enough gap for him to get into but driver took umbrage at it, the traffic stopped for red lights and the guy that got overtaken went to boot got his bat out while the other had his golf clubs on the back seat, thought they were gonna kill each other, they blustered then got back in their cars.
I was there ,the guy in front got the last fish at the chippy.

Legal consequences are there to rehabilitate and ensure it doesn't happen again, not a vindictive desire to see "bad people" punished for their transgressions at the cost of the taxpayer.
