Today we share with you 3 of our most important flexibility stretches/mobility exercises for movement.
No matter what age or fitness level, you can start using these to improve your functional movement skills.
These are stretches and movements we have taken from our training in parkour.
Most of you are familiar with parkour. However, if you are new to our channel, parkour is an advanced movement discipline.
The goal of parkour is to efficiently go from one place to another using just your body to over come any obstacles you encounter.
You train efficient body movements such as running, jumping, climbing, crawling, and vaulting.
Through this training we discovered that most of these functional movements mainly require flexibility/mobility in 3 key areas.
It's important to build flexibility and mobility through the whole body. However, if you are just starting or you only have time to focus on a few areas, these would be the 3 most important that we recommend.
I'd recommend training these exercises, twice a day, 5 days a week to get the best results.
Use these 3 stretches and you will notice a big increase in your flexibility/mobility for your movement skills & training.

TappBrothers Kong vaults over low obstacles ive found helps improve your tuck and from when doing them.
My favorite stretch/mobility exercise would have to be quadrupedal movement. A few months back you helped me discover this technique and since I have been able to implement in many ways and I have seen much improvement in my strength, coordination and ability to move freely in general :).
Reciprocating movements due to the fact that it not only works critical areas of the body and conditions the muscles needed for rigorous movement, but it also allows for your neuropathways to rewire as you utilize differnt muscles and different areas of the brain for what seems to be the same movement.
Simply leg raises, they increase hip/thigh flexibility without having to do static stretches and so you can do things like kick higher, it helps relive stress in the inner thigh.
It also it helps with other things but I can't think of them right now.
Hamstrings stretch coz it helps a lot in my kicks and splits

I appreciate the simplicity yet depth of the exercices/stretches/movements in your videos.
Love how you explained the importance of the stretches! I've done walk-through before but never the other two stretches, i will be sure to practice all three regularly.
Hip flexor stretch (quads AND psoas) is crucial for low back health a mobility in general. Most people in our culture have grossly shortened hip flexors from sitting so much.
Hey Tapp brothers! Another A M A I Z I N G video.
All of your videos are so educating and helpful. Everyone has to watch them. Honestly I watch each of them several times and sometimes I note them to not forget and keep doing them!

You guys are great... Man, the best in the whole universe known or unknown... Love ur workout and parkour
Excellent video,Thanks. How many times in a day could repeat those exercises?
Thank you so much very helpful
Such a great video! Three simple ones but hitting extremely important areas. And as you mentioned, having "enough" flexibility in those will correlate in much more efficient overall movement. Thanks!
I have been doing these stretches for years and never knew that they aid in mobility. I'm almost 50 yrs old and feel like a kid after my routine. Thanks for posting and I will be waiting for you next video.
This video is very helpful. Thanks a bunch
Thank you for the tips
Awesome tips guys.
Amazing video. Thank you
Nice helpful hints, man. God bless you.
Thanks TappBros, really helpful tutorial! My favourite mobility exercise is a full squat with trunk twist and reach. Why? Because it feels so good and gets me going :)
Thank you coach really needed that
Really like your videos. Cool to watch and I always learn something different.
Great I will try it!!!
Useful, thank you :) But I'm confused about that stretch you did with the shoulders. When you lift your arms up, what are you doing at that point? I can't see the stretch you do at the top as you're standing side-on so nothing visibly changes. Are you stretching your arms sideways or just holding them up?
Thank you. I will do that.
Thank you for good video
Useful Information, thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you
thanks for ur suggestion.
Inspiring as always
This is great!
A personal train and I personally think this is awesome
Thanks so much 😃
My favorite stretch is the hip hinch(I hope u wrote it right) because I'm just struggling with my das/kash/lazy vault also as you guys said in the video this will also help you to take more impact when you(aka me or the viewer) land and will help you to get the perfect pk landing and I might also like the shoulder stretch cuz yeah I'm kinda struggling in reaching up walls still didn't try to climb walls but I know myself anyways thanks to you guys you both made me learn the perfect pk roll and basic landing soon I will lose weight get the agility, mobility and flexibility and become a good parkour player thanks 👍👌
Chewbacca looks combined with great parkour knowledge
Thank you for the great tips! I felt stronger with my scapula and rotator cuff pain r gone!👍
Always fun to have video explaining how to be flexible, showed by a person not more flexible than the average

Brilliant thank you .. I can do all 3 😃 only been doing about 3 months. Nearly 53 and I'm so proud of myself. Reached my goal on doing the crow pose 💪and list 1 stone in doing so . Great video thanks 💖
Cool!
Injured my back and this is really helping
This is how I warm up for overhead press, dead lift & squat , same movements without weight. 👍for Rothbard shirt!
My favorites is the simple child's pose. I love it because I can do it wherever I am, its effective and I can make it last as short/long as I want it to.
You guys give the best in depth tutorials for parkour and a lot just fitness and I love it!
So true!
Awesome to hear Adam! Appreciate the love my friend!
Shoulder range of motion it A+ and squats are no problem but the hinge is killer for me, I have horrible back pain. Just sitting with my back straight hurts so much. (L5/S1)
Is this more of a tight hamstring, glute, calf issue? I can't seem to get to the "bottom" of my back pain and it drives me crazy. I'm 100% committed to getting the hinge motion, any ideas?
I think you two are the most dynamic guys on utube, I'm so impressed by you! Thanks so much for the videos and introduction to Parkour
Honestly.... I hâte stretching 😜 but i like doing "salutation to thé sun" yoga style to stretch and warm up legs and Spine. Thank's for those tips !
Exercise on Tapp! Kudos! :-)

I agree
Hi, I found this video very interesting. You said these stretches are for all ages. I am a 56 year old female and I cannot stretch my arms up as in your first stretch. Would it be possible for me to ever be able to do so or has my time passed? Thank you
i am just doing them for back hips and shoulder pain and they are good based on one days training
The first two I practiced a long time without ever really progressing. Especially people that sit a lot will need more than doing that exercise 1x15min per day...
You've helped me with alot of my parkour issues, thanks
PS. I love you're videos
Hey Jazmin, I'm glad our videos have helped! Thanks for sharing the love :) Keep up the training
jazmin graham hi ...
Should demonstrate in slow motion and REPEAT please, otherwise we got confused. Also please explain how to align BREATHING with each exercise, ie when to breathe in, when to hole if at all and when to breathe out.

Rothbard. Cool. Check out Curt Doolittle's "Propertarianism".

Hi! Big fan here, but your download link for the 5 day parkour course just takes you to a page where you are asked to submit name and email but no box where you can actually write them.

I think that the content and focus of the Tapp brothers’ videos are very helpful, unique, and cutting edge. But, there is just too much talking before demonstrations.
