Me: flips are cool yeah
Why am I not trying to backflip
Because I like my neck
Same here !
Yup, I ain’t snapping my neck
Not breaking my neck cuz I will get palolised
not wanting to get paralyzed
That's why I can't backflip
Parkour tutorial on how to fake fail parkour moves safely
yes!!! just what I was thinking
Dadda Purple will you plss subcribe my channel plss
@@_Avaan_ nobody gives a crap about your channel, if you want subs, make some good content.
Dadda Purple generally, when I fail something like maybe a precision jump, I will just fall down and roll. So just keep doing the move until you fail. Since you would probably be a decently experienced parkour athlete, you could recover easily... Unless you mean mindless potatoes trying to impress their friends. That's a different story...
@@_Avaan_ stop begging for subs nobody gives a shit
Wow what a god he actually uses and reviews the sponsor in the video without shoving it in our face! Im actually considering getting a sleeve!
Hii
Now I wanna get one as well. I have arthritis in my right knee, and as of right now it’s been swollen practically the entire summer. AND I’M ONLY 14.
idiot
Spoiler alert!
The 5 mistakes are:
1. landing on your heels
2. huge drops from the start
3. flips in an unsafe place
4. roll head first along the spine
5. using your knee when wall climbing
XD
what do you mean
At my very first time I put my knee first in a wall-run...I regret it
I do parkour / freerunning as Hobby when we do one of those things u said we must do 10 pushups!
C'mon, man...
He intentionally failed flips. That is dedication.
Thank you. I appreciate this video so much. I want to learn Parkour because I'm a small girl, and I would love to be able to escape danger- and I just love climbing on things!! Thank you so much for letting me know what not to do as I begin my parkour journey!
Alice Bones good luck
Ur a dude ok?
@@okejan3646 As far as I know, I'm a girl. Sorry to disappoint you but there are girls on the internet.
You gooot it! (As my mentor Ms. Alice would say. I saw your name, that was just awesome!) I believe in you. I'm still trying to get better at my parkour and flips. I follow tappbrothers, team farang, Jesse LA flair, and plan zero and kojo trick lab I will try out. I do want to create more parkour parks around the states, and possibly the world, and a parkour app. There's simply not enough parkour parks to go around! Much love and blessings, and I wish you nothing but the best in all your future endeavors!
@@BonesofStarlight Yes keep it up and good luck, I started parkour too a few days ago and it's so fun
Really helpful. The two mistakes I made were the "knee climb" and "rushing the flips"
me too which is funny because I've been doing parkour for 4 to 5 years
I messed up yesterday I cut my arm open so that was fun
The mistakes I always make are rushing the flips and landing flat-footed or on my heels
Well you can still do two thing like freerunning and parkour (like Ronnie) or tricking and parkour (tricking isn’t about obstacles it is just flips or, just about looking cool).
Oraaaah
Yeah i did the high drop thing, jumped down my garage and got my knee small injured.
Definitly worth it.
You seem a little old for this...
Do you want to be known as Gandalf the Broken?
Dude same but off the tree
Samu but with a wall now my left knee has its random pain moments 😂
@@whitewolf9864 damn go to a doctor😂
This is why you need the knee sleeve...
These are 5 tips.
And the Video is exactly 5:55 Minutes long.

Kowalski Analysis
Can't believe he's still doing these, been watching for years, still enjoying them
It’s his passion
I jumped off a wall. Me heel hurts. Now I know y
This man is still going???? It’s been like 6 years
More like 12 or 13
Ik some who is doing this for 15 years.
2:24 that's me lol I can't flip for nothing!
We were all like that once
same im a nube now
Devcalner you will learn mate
I rly need to start doing that rools
I've been parkouring for years and never landed a flip, I'm just bad at it but won't take the time to learn it. Only vaults
Other people at the park probably thought he was crazy jumping off buildings and rolling around on the ground crashing on his flips 😂
Do your heels actually touch the ground when landing?
I've been training for a year now. From the research I've done, and experience, yes your heels will hit the ground. The issue is when you land with your heels first.
Landing toes first allows your calves to absorb the shock. If there is too much, your heels will then hit and your thighs will take care of what impact is left.
Of course more strength and flexibility of the calf, will allow more shock to be absorbed, leading to less impact on the heels.
This is how I understand it.
I learned it from running/jogging form. Lots of studies on foot strikes.
Spongeless Wizard I don't notice of my heels touch the ground, I'm a very basic beginner and when I jump off walls I'm usually leaning into the roll so how close your heels come to the ground depends on your height and weight
You use ur toes and especially if ur jumping off of something and land with ur hands
Ive been training for almost 2 years and I'm gonna say no to that. It's not like your heels are gonna shatter but try to keep it on the balls of your feet. During the rolling motion that comes after if you do a roll, there should not be a heel touch. If there is it might hurt.
I always practice rolling around on the balls of my feet before training with and without shoes to really give my prain a feel for my foot placement
*shrugs*
Who else thought that it was yourself when Ronnie failed the jump.
not me, I aint gonna hit a hard ground or start from more than 1 to 2 meters of the ground even if it's grass landing on :D
not risking it
PEYN NEP I’ve dropped from slightly over 3 meters because I progressed up to it, and I don’t do it often btw.

Me.
If/When I do parkour, I don't want to be snazzy and flip every which way, I just want to get to point A to point B as fast as i can or get to a point B that no one else can get to. I do believe some flips help with going faster but a random back-flip when jumping down, that's for style points.
Imagine in the middle of class your cold and you say can I go home my knees are cold
Thanks Ronnie I start parkour after seeing your videos.
Which environment did u choosed to learn
Thank you so much for this video. I am on CZcams tonight because I am trying to do research on parkour for a novel I am writing, and I need to have a character that has never done it before try to follow a character that could be considered an expert through a city. This is exactly what I needed to see to understand where and how the unskilled character will have trouble as they traverse the city. Thank you!
The big drop one is no joke. Even though I had practiced safely falling for about 3-4 months, I clearly wasn't ready. Sprained my ankle and have been out since then. Remember: be careful and don't bite off more than you can chew.
Me when I see a fly:

Great video Ronnie - it must be hard to re-enact beginner mode when you are an expert. You did a pretty good job here I reckon! Really useful tips!
It's true for some sports some pros used skater trainers and it was harder. Forgot to mention they are skateboards skater trainers stop your wheels so they land without moving
um help my legs are 50 miles long at it's literally impossible to kong vault lol
Length of legs don't affect kong vaults. Maybe monkey and kash vaults (because your legs go through your arms), but long legs shouldn't affect kong vaults. In a kong vault you are inverting your hips and and body so that they are parallel to the surface you are konging. Watch a slow mo dive kong or double kong and you will see that the only way they can get the proper distance is to elongate their body and make sure their body is parallel to the object they're konging. If your body stays upright the whole time it is more of a monkey vault, and it's easier to clip. A good way to practice inverting your body so that you are parallel is to get a railing or small wall and just practicing jumping in place, but focus on raising your hips and butt into the air. If you watch really big dive kongs, their butts are way above their head.
Also, I learned this from an APK tutorial years ago...on kong vaults your hands are already lifted a little by the time your feet go through your arms. That gives you a split moment where you have a couple extra inches to get your legs through your arms.
czcams.com/video/dFOPLqDLt3U/video.html here's a good example of proper kong technique. They get their hips above their chest and they can effortlessly clear the obstacle.
I totally get the fear of what youre talking about. I had a NASTY knee clip one that messed up my knees bad. But when doing kongs I'd put in a couple thousand reps of a shorter obstacle with really good form and work your way up tbh. Dont get scared of them lol. I'd also seriously recommend doing it on grass/sand whatever and NOT concrete.
I'm tall aswell, and I think kong isn't really hard
I can't do the parkour roll so I gave up :'(
Edit: Thanks for the support I will keep trying
Dont give up!!! Practice makes perfect!!! 👍
Pretend you are landing with your hands on the ground, but put your shoulder on the ground and you automatically finish the roll. That's how I Do It
You can!!! When I started parkour my rolls sucked but I thought it wasn’t necessary to master them. Now maybe 2 years later I use rolls with every big drop and it doesn’t hurt anymore. Just progress slowly don’t go straight for the roll and analyse your technique! You’ll get it eventually, don’t worry and NEVER GIVE UP!!!
ParkourDragon01 T is practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect why practice?

Hey +Ronnie Street Stunts, how long have you been doing parkour for? Love your vids you helped me get into parkour and gave me a new hobby that's fun and enjoyable as well as a good form of excercise!
He's about to go into his 13th year in November. You should watch his 10 year journey vid: czcams.com/video/RiH7tkIBmD0/video.html
Thanks, i'm really curious
3.50m no roll no pain!
Is that good?
If height, yes
But maybe if you done it wrong it could made injuries that you don't know
No not good
@@oldaccount1664 make a video, how you make a higher role!
Learnt that high drop mistake very painfully, 20ft drop broken ankle
Please make more of these!!!! I train by myself most of the time and these things are super helpful!
Thanks For your advice
We need more of these kinds of videos
Love your videos, keep up the good work !
Wow, you explain parkour well!
Thank you so much! I’ll make sure to avoid these mistakes!
Love the vid I’m new to parkour and you’re channel

2. Fun to teach my freinds at school
That helps alot thank you so much
Ur awesome athlete great that u teach parcour useful stuff ✌

That helped me learn thanks
"Months of training"
Me *Jumps from 15 feet high and lands in a roll perfectly.
I did that on my first go , tried it again and hurt myself real bad
I love your videos :D
Dude your videos saved my life or at least my legs because I watched a video of yours where you showed throwers the safety roll and later that day I fell off a high place and if I had not done a safety role at the bottom I would have needed a doctor
You are golden content bro. Keep It Cool . Peace
It's cool how you're able to show the jumps and flips done wall and make it look like you're taking full impcat, but you protect your by subtly framing with your hands and stuff like that. Nice stunt work ;)
Pretty much every parkour youtubers inspiration to start parkour and freerunning came from Ronnie Shalvis because of his amazing skills and in depth tutorials not to mention how humble and down to Earth he is
Good one brother
Just learned wall running, the roll, some vaults and precision jumping. It was fun and is very cool.
My favourite channel in parkour ........which helps me a lot.....thanq sir...for all of message
Thanks!
Hi love your vids
I'm a good Parkour athlete due to your videos man !
U r realy great sir
thank you i also do these mistakes
nice video sir
1:44 what are people gonna think when they walk and see this 🤣
Tysm!! 😊
THANKS Ronnie i commonly make these mistakes
Thank you
I teach parkour at one of the only gyms in SoCal that offer it and we definitely make sure to tell and show our clients how to properly perform different moves. And what the common improper ways are too.
Me when I’m to scared for a safety roll: **landing on my feet, yeah whatever*
When do you start doing parkour?
When he was 15/16
Heyy nice i liked it
Maybe you could check out vector or Vector 2 and recreate some tricks from those
I failed a precision jump into a fence grab lol.
THANK YOU :) I also thought that it isn't good idea to start from advanced things so I start from building my whole body strength and flexibility. I noticed how easy I may hurt myself just for example keeping WRONG POSTURE during exercise... so now I pay big attention to every single basic exercise :)
Hands off to you
He literally performs these mistakes for us not to
RONNIE I FINALY LANDED A FLIP!!!!
What flip?
Backflip?
Frontflip?
Sideflip?

Amazing! Thanks for replying in a short time :D
I will like the video and comment. I already turned on notifications so I know when you post it
Im starting my channel over and im going to post the flips I can do
*on my trampoline*
Glad I knew these all :D
I've done parkour for 1,5 months so I am kinda new to it.
Still I knew these all beginner mistakes and how to avoid them.
kudos to this man for actually doing the mistakes themselves
Congratulations for 1million subscriber
Yeah flips are cool, but impractical and dangerous
Noted and thanks
The arms balcancing at 1:46 😂
Accidently clicked this video. Still watched the whole thing and subbed.
awesome tips bro question wouldnt 2 knee sleeves be better than 1 ?
tnx for help
Very true
I love this video I'm actually a pretty good at parkour and I know how to do flips because I started parkour at two years old yesterday I learnt how to do a punch front flip cause of your tatourial cause I on know how to do a Webster and just now that your my biggest inspiration thank you
thanks
why does this make me feel lile i can do things now? i can roll, do nearly every valt (including dobble kong). i can front flip. but thats not the point of a comment. the point is this man mannaged to teach me all of this. so if you ever feel like you cant do a flip or nail the roll. just come and watch this amzing dude explain. keep up the good work ronnie :D
your the best
Very nice....👌👌👌
Salute to this man who is showing us failed flips which we fear the most 👍
Thankuhh soo soo much bro it means alot for us❤❤❤👏👏💋💋💕💕🔥🔥
Even though I’m not a beginner at all I still watched this vid😅❤️
now this made me feel good about my parkour skills
You pretending to be bad at your job is the most hilarious shit to me
Its like a werewolf pretending not to be a werewolf lmao
Took a high(around 16 ft) drop relatively new to proper technique and bent my fingers back
It was good other than that
I need those 😯
mistake 6 (your mistake) you roll after you land essencialy making the role useless
Few athletes have the roll mastered anymore its kinda sad. A lot of professional athletes just do that half ass dash down or lower and land on a hard surface to make it seem like they do. The ones who really do can still do the running tucked jump with the arms outstretched and land with speed and momentum on concrete have it truly mastered.
Thanks
Has anyone noticed that his mascot doesn't have a chest
