- It's time to de-sticker my Shelby GT500! After the beastly Ford Mustang shipped over from the US having taken part in the @Gumball3000, it's been wearing the rally livery ever since. While Shawn from @dub_customs helps on that, check out the Robosen K1 robot!
The intention has always been to remove the rally stickers from the GT500 at some point after its arrival, and considering we have a very colourful and smart looking garage, now is the time to get that done. The process isn't too complicated but to ensure we don't need to re-do any of the PPF, stripes, or vinyl pinstripes, it made sense to seek the help of Dub Customs to do it correctly from the start.

Hey Tim, Happy New Year. I'm sure you have plenty of pics of the Mustang in the Gumball livery, but that car is sweet cleaned up looking like the way it was delivered.. You can always look at pictures. But it'll be hot once it's clean.

I liked the GT500 in the Gumball livery, when you said it's coming off, my first thought was NO. But when you said driving it around, not on the Gumball, with that livery is a little bit cringy. I get it. Then I saw it again in all it's glory. I think it was the right thing to do.

11:25 With the Emira, have you thought about maybe having Topaz put some stripes on it? You know, when they PPF it? I was just thinking about that with the GT500 and the stripes that you added to that. I think the Emira could look good with a classic racing stripe down the middle, or maybe a pair of thin stripes. Try and make it look OEM. Dark blue stripes over the yellow could be cool.
