For me, my ED stops me experiencing obsessive thoughts about food and how much I’ve eaten. If I eat a certain amount (my “safe” amount) I don’t ruminate about eating and can focus on other things

Maybe you are an aspie like me and that's why we can't even experience recovery in the same terms as other people. The only times I've seemed normal to people is when I was bulimic. I am just not sick. Im simply entirely different from most people, and the more recovered in food & image stuff I am, the more I realise Im just odd.

This was excellent. Control is the biggest reason for my ED still going on. Thanks

NO! ED does NOT give me control! Fooled myself years! Never ending circle! Thanks for ongoing education and hard work! Regards from Sydney!

This was a great episode! Yes, the illusion of control is something big for me and the ED I suffer from, but at the end of the day I'm having no control with such strict rules and rigidness

But my ED HELPS me be in control of my mind. If I let go of the ED my mind is a mess
