  • The FULL acceleration test of the BMW 328i e36 193 hp М52B28 engine 1995 year.
It was a stock 318i. Then the inline-6 2.8 M52B28 engine was swapped in this car. Now it is as fast as the US M3 e36.
    Remeaning mods:
M50 headers, deleted cats, custom exhaust, open 3.15 diff and cold air intake. I'm not shure about the ECU. Because the owner says that it isn't chipped, but the rev limiter is above the standard (6900 RPMs vs 6500 in stock)
    Video conteins:
    0-Vmax Top Speed run
    0-235 km/h
    0-187 km/h
    1st, 2rd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gear pulls from low RPMs
    Results:
The max speed is 245 km/h by a speedo
    0-200 km/h in 25.26 seconds (by speedometer)
    0-160 km/h in 14,15 (by speedo also)
    0-100 is about 5.94 seconds
HD video was shot on the Galaxy S4

this car seems to be around 225-230 bhp, from the stock 193. And most prpably remapped to adapt to the mods like intake, exhaust, manifolds... if it s really as fast a a US M3 (240 or 245 bhp, if I remember well), and based on performance shown in the video, then yes, it should be around 230 bhp, helped by shorter drive.

@@Franc39A6DD In this summer I am planning to do some pulls, I have a 328 coupe no sunroof with m50 manifold, decat, better intake, 3.15lsd, but the biggest diffirence is hard core weight reduction, 11xx kg 7,2kg R17 wheels, 215/45/17 semi slicks

      @@r129r16pfl 7.2kg on R17 ? Apex wheels ? With all that, you can make 100-200 in 14-15sec I think.
      4-5sec faster than stock.

I have very similar engine mods + the same diff ratio (3.15 + lsd), but I am going for crazy weight reduction, aiming for ~1150kg
I will measure the performance, only thing worth mentioning is the tire size, if you measure from the speedo, it must be oem spec, and even then it will not be 100% accurate, you need to measure with GPS

Have a 2016 GTI and 1993 325is, GTI isa bit faster but the sound of the six when the limiter kicks in is the best.

The ECU is the stock one, judging by how it revs. The stock car does overrev it isn't a very hard limiter.

Hi, SaqAuto god job, greate video.
You wrote that engine is swapped. How about ratio in rear differential?
What say gps when speedometer show 100km/h? Thank you in advance for answer.

It looks like you were going downhill on the first take. Still great though, I like the sound a lot.
