The all-new Hyundai i30N has a 2-litre turbocharged engine with 275hp, while the E36 has been tuned with a new inlet manifold, sports exhaust and ECU remap so its 2.8-litre engine now delivers 225hp instead of the standard 190hp. NOTE: in case you missed me say it in the video, this 328i has been tuned to 226hp. Normally they only have 190hp. But this one has a different inlet manifold, new exhaust and an ECU remap. For more details on this click the link below in the description to watch that video.

Would of benifited from an enclosed air intake (standard airbox with panel filter) rather than the cone filter. The M52 doesn't like hot air and all the filter is doing is promoting heat soak.

That 328i has 226hp, which is less tahn i30N, and it pulls very well. I think it's lighter, but correct me if I'm wrong. i30N is a big achievement, it changed Hyundai forever(with help of a guy that used to work at BMW M division), but I'd still take the E36. I know every American hates it, but it has a special place in my heart. I love the classic 90s boxy looks, the sound(I think the E36 M3 is the best sounding 6-cylinder BMW ever), it handles amazingly well and it's pretty much bulletproof. For the money, it’s a bang for buck fun car. This is why there are ao many good reviews of it. You people should judge after you actually experience both cars. Of course BMW’s are nicer cars. But BMW’s and it’s brand is way more expensive??? Hello?? And their reliability are not too great either after few years... must give Hyundai credit for building a car like the i30N. Older cars can be extremely reliable compared to modern cars but most cars are on finance today so after a few years people change to a newer one. Don't get me wrong they've done a great job making a Hyundai as fun as this one but in my experience older cars will last much longer.

I don't want to rely on a sensor that can fail and than have not enough oil in my car and dmg the engine... Some things don't need to be digital, this is what the newer generation can't understand. There are many things that are the best being analogue, and converting it to digital just brings trouble.

Pulled multiple lightly modded wrxs quite easily, 350z, charger rt, mazdaspeed 3 ecoboost stangs, s2000. These cars are super underrated. Cheap and easy to mod for an affordable performance car ♡
