I once tried using exfat as a shared drive for a dual boot windows and macos setup and I only got frustrated at how macos poorly handles exfat. Spotlight reindexes and wastes cpu every startup. Files like txt and docx files do not save all of a sudden and sometimes I'm losing files for no reason. Eventually I settled with a single boot hackintosh setup with all partitions in apfs
I mostly use Linux, but I do like Final Cut Pro. Is triple booting this worth it? I currently dual boot Windows 10 & Garuda Gnome with the transparent plank dock.
Unfortunately Adobe CC is not running under AMD hackintosh without patching. No patches for several applications available, like indesign or lightroom.
How did u get imessage working? I have a serial number and a uuid and all of that set up but i still cant access imessage, im getting a message saying something like "error occurred during activation" Thanks for ur time

I want to build amd hackintos but How is working AMD CPU with AMD GPU can you show the amd systems how is working Encoding. If is stable I want use amd ryzen 9 3900X with two GPU, Ati gpu for hackintosh Nvidia gpu for windows, because Premiere Pro (BETA) start to support H.264 NVIDIA Hardware and Encoding Thanks
3900X should be no problem, not sure about the GPU, you may only be able to utilize a single GPU. I have heard from other Hacintosh folks that Premiere and other similar software does not have support
fenvi 1200m for wifi and bluetooth works great out of the box with mac and you can download drivers for windows then it will work. Also add innie kext as it will fix the m2 sata drive showing as external.
my rx 5700 xt don't show any gpu temp and fan speed with iStatmenus and hwmonitor, also the fan speed are going on and off under catalina more often than windows, do u have any idea why?
All drivers are basically written by hobbyists and not officially supported, so the my best answer is just that those features weren't integrated. My fans actually never spin up so I simply can't do graphically intensive workloads on MacOS.

My understanding is you just install the update, as the EFI folder should remain embedded... Its functionality is just a matter of whether nothing (kexts, drivers, etc) has been broken by the update.
With my USB mic it works fine, but I haven't tried a direct mic line. I do not have audio working directly from the mo-bo, so I instead use my display's audio jack.
@@TechItEasy0 I've got my mobo audio working using the AppleALC kext, with the right layout number. The mic works with a bluetooth adapter, but it crackles and stutters a lot, so I can't make normal use of it...

Given that B450 and X570 are both common choices, I would go for an X570 simply because I know it's what works. Between brands it should all be about the same, so just pick the best board you find among the brands.

Hey Orphic, I just want to let you know that it will be quite awhile before getting a Hackintosh full tutorial out, unfortunately. I really want it to be thorough and something that will work for anyone that does it, and I just hit a huge road block. I had to reinstall Windows and it overwrote (for some reason I have no clue why) my MacOS partition with a tiny 200MB boot partition, so MacOS is no longer bootable and I have to start from scratch. It will be a while before I can dedicated the probably ~20 hours or so this will likely take to fix. Sorry about this! I really want to get this out, but don't want to set your expectations too high.
Yeah of course it’s fine. If we have any financial issues through this pandemic then we won’t even need it but hopefully this doesn’t go on for too long

That might be a matter of copying and pasting those codes into the config.plist in the right location, I needed to do it manually

Nice! Honestly it's probably not worth the premium for the letter X, so you specced out a perfect midrange rig

Fenvi FV-T919 worked for my Bluetooth/wifi. And yes. iMessage (even thought I don’t use it) and airdrop does work.
