Thanks for showing this pedal here. I have an HM-2w on my board, but I don‘t always use it cranked. It‘s pretty common knowledge that Bilinda Butcher from My Bloody Valentine used an HM-2. To replicate her settings set L to 1-2oclock and H to 10.30-11 oclock and gain anywhere between 8 and 5 oclock. Put a reverb in front of it and there you go, you shoegaze. If you want to play around with a more versatile take on the HM-2, the Wurm 2 by KMA has really cool options (precise mid control) and is overall really versatile, you can even get a more grungy, fuzzy distortion and even low gain out of it. Cheers🤘🏾

So Very Cool, Thankyou. I am not a metal fan, but still appreciate the Skill and Tone. See The standard Boss HM pedals showing up second hand locally, but am yet to be tempted as I already own 9 Overdrive/distortion pedals LOL. But did pick up a Hardwire HT-6 Polyphonic Tuner Pedal today for $20- Australian (that is basically free in UK/USA money, lol) WOW, Such an Amazing tuner, Instantaneous sensitivity, lets you check tuning of all strings with a single strum and so many other features, Amazing bargain I am so Stoked. Cheers

Ooh nice now that's a manifesto style score 🤣🤣 they make great tuners had one before. The HM-2 definitely has a sound of its own.

Those chainsaw sound is identical to the Kurt's guitar sound in Live at Reading Festival 1992. I like it so much!

@@theguitarmanifesto I have a HM-2 modulator inside my Boss Drive Zone OD-20 pedal but I can't sure whether it has the same potential as your Boss Waza Craft Heavy Metal HM-2w. Maybe it is time find out....

I've had a few boss multi effects pedals with HM-2 built-in, I must admit the real thing kicks a lot more 👌

The silver screw Waza pedals indicate that it is made in Japan vs the black screw Waza pedals which are made in Taiwan.

Did Prince use the heavy metal or did he use the metal zone !?
I know he used one of them.

I just read Prince used Metal Zone on tour in the mid 90s, he has used a Heavy Metal pedal in the studio.
This website is great for finding out musicians gear.
