- El Nido, Palawan - I was surprised how nice the airport in El Nido was. Its not like your typical big airport.
It's just this really small airport that feels like a resort.

el nido's airport used to be unpaved and have 2 runways but they paved one runway , added an apron and de- comissioned one turned it into a taxiway for planes

There probably was no meal offered on the plane for short distance flight from El Nido to Cebu unless you pre-order it. Drinks are not even for free as you have to buy them while on-board the plane.

I would suggest to visit the Northern part of the Philippines too. I would like to suggest you to visit Isabela and Cagayan Valley. Lio beach airport - it’s owned by the airline I believe. Hope it stays open as indigenous tribes in court about it. It’s great to fly into and out!

that's cool there's an aiport in El Nido now. its better than having to backtrack by bus and go back to Puerto Princesa to catch a flight. I was there in 2016, and they didnt have that airport yet.

Hey Travis, in Manila some meter taxi will drive you around instead of going straight to get more meter and you pay more. If you're familiar to the place you can suggest the road to take or the shortcut way.

There are only two airports in the country: El Nido Airport (domestic airport) Mactan-Cebu International Airport which are privately operated. Mactan-Cebu International Airport has been operated by a private company since 2014.

Come to sirao garden cebu bro it's amazing out there especially in the morning, you can go there by transport just by a vhire/van which will cost u like 150 pesos

I remember taking off and landing on that airport back when it was still unpaved and only small planes use it.
The terminal was very small and nothing special. Now it feels like a resort. Reminds me of Samui.

Traveling to other places near and far is a very nice learning experience,it should be done domestically at least on e a year and overseas at least once a year also
