Depends how long you have been watching it, sad yes, but life moves on but when you've lived through a lot of the greats it doesn't bear much relevance.
@@Pits750 25 years, since childhood. So you could say I've been admiring Seb since Torro Rosso days being a Kimi fan. Kimi retires, Seb retires and Hamilton ain't far from it. The new age drivers of Max, Charles, Lando, George are different set of drivers very cocky gamer spoilt brat types. That's why it was sad to lose Mick.
I wasn't the biggest Vettel fan in the beginning but the longer his career went, the more I liked him. Gonna miss his presence on the grid...

Well maturity does make men out of boys. I feel the same that I don't see the arrogant young man from a decade ago. Maybe he is still the same underneath, he's fooled me by how he came across. Max should pay attention.

That was such a loving thought towards his kids. Wanting to be there for them and to give them the love and support just like his parents did for him.
I feel awful for not getting the chance to feel the career Seb had in his rookie season and the years at Ferrari. I started watching F1 seriously in 2020 when Ferrari was bottled bad and the last 2 years at Aston martin were worse. Danke Seb. Gonna miss ya champ.
It was just amazing to see his rise and witness how people started hating him for winning everything until people learned loving him again when Lewis started winning everything while he moved to Ferrari. Multi 21 was great haha

I watch f1 since 1999-2000, hes was the biggest asshole in F1, then he left RB and it changed him somehow. It was similar with Alonso. It looks like when F1 driver is in his prime, somehow he makes him self an asshole :D

He deserved so much better the last 3-4 years
As an Aussie following F1 since the 90's, Multi 21 has stuck out as a reason to hate Seb. But as time has progressed, he has really shown the world that he's a good dude deep down. He'll be missed in F1. He's a great Talent, and has a ton more character than the kids that are being spat out of the F3/F2 cookie cutter of today's feeder categories.
Seb for sure could be considered ruthless or selfish on track. But probably you will need to be if you want to win. No gifts on track. As a personality he for sure has grown. Its also age and life experience of course. I'm guessing him having kids placed things and life in perspective over time.
He did that because Webber didn't follow instructions at Silverstone that year. So it was payback
Weber can be at least partially to blame for Danny Rics floundering career.
@@WiseGuy02o, it was because Webber squeezed him against the wall in Brazil 2012, leading to him falling down the order, and eventually getting hit by senna at turn 4. Seb eventually won the champ during that incredible race, and 2 races later in Malaysia 2013 (with Kimi winning the opener in Australia that year), he was hungry and said “fuck you mark” and won. Mark never won another race. Seb won 26 more and the 13’ title.
Aah, whatta man! I'm going to miss him so much, but this was really lovely. And who knows, maybe he'll change his mind in a couple of years after a bit of a break. Danke Seb, enjoy your sabbatical!

I do hope Sebastian keeps in touch even though I hear he is quite a private person. He is great to listen to and is very open and honest. I'd expect good be around. I have a crazy vision he will do something musical maybe? I hope so. Always would be great to see him racing or competing but happy he is spending time with the family, this is what life is about. Sebastian and Lewis were the beating heart and conscience of Formula 1 ..Sebastian is so much more than a great racing driver..what a intelligent rounded and humble man..What happened to Red Bull when he took his class integrity and dignity with him..there was nothing left
Not just them. Each generation up to this point has had a driver or two who are the beating heart and conscience of their respective era of F1.

Definitely true. Ever since he went to ferrari and was side by side with kimi he started realizing real friendship and someone who has his back because they liked him not because he was a great driver. He became a different person.

Made a name for himself, became the Villain, winning his titles with Red Bull, turned into the good guy at Ferrari, then the fallen hero when he struggled, and at last, the redemption at Aston Martin, retiring as the most popular guy in the paddock.
