The way I make eggs now is the food wishes method of soft hard boiled eggs. You add a half inch or so of water to the pan and shallow steam the eggs for 9 minutes, then rinse the pan with cold water and crack the eggs on the side of the pan. Once they are cooled in a few minutes the shell comes off basically in one big piece super easily

Mrs. B... Bicarbonate of soda is used to make super glue set faster. You dilute it and spray it on for example. The thing with super glue is, if it's stuck between two airtight surfaces it's not going to set very fast because it needs to evaporate the solvent. Works great on fabrics and permeable surfaces like skin

A regular skillet works pretty well for reheating pizza. It’s limited to 2 slices for even a big pan, but it does work. Spray the bottom of the pizza with a quick hit of oil or non-stick spray. Set it in a mostly covered pan on low or medium-low (depending on your stove strength) & check the top & bottom every few minutes until it’s done to your liking. It’s MUCH better than a microwave (but not as good as a toaster oven).

My top tip for peeling eggs, before cooking them, you make a tiny hole into the rounder end where the bubble is (there are egg puncher thingies for that to buy too, or I used a tip of a thin knife to carefully poke a tiny hole), and then you submerge the eggs into boiling water via a spoon… this causes the air trapped in the bubble of the egg to escape and pulls the membrane slightly more taut towards the eggshell. Once cooked, you just crack them all around and it easily peels off. Honestly, if you punch it correctly, there’s no problem peeling them, EVER.

Instead of misusing a pop up toaster just buy a toaster oven that can both toast your bread and reheat your pizza. In my opinion a toaster oven is actually the best way of reheating a pizza and is better at toasting bread in the first place.
As for the spanner and gluing a nut onto lids, I just always have some channel lock pliers in my kitchen. I can't do big jars with them, but they work great for whenever my vegetable oil bottle decides it wants to be difficult. And since the pliers have teeth to grip the cap directly no need for super glue or a nut.

I think the egg one might originate in the USA. There they process fresh eggs by removing some of the outer layer of shell, hence their need to refrigerate them. Maybe the lemon hack is more successful with the thinner shelled American eggs.

Yeah, that "n" was so immediate from Mrs. B with the coliflower because it's the truth who would ever sit there breaking the cauliflower part with an apple corner that you have to dangerously place your hands near the blades to get the core back out and then you could just cut the cauliflower with a knife or genuinely break it with your hands like Berry was doing

Mrs B, the superglue issue at "hand' can be easily and fairly painlessly solved with hand sanitizer. The alcohol in it breaks down the glue, and it's usually not as drying on your hands as using just rubbing alcohol.

I've been using this trick for peeling eggs for well over 30 years.
You don't need to add anything to the water.
Once your eggs are boiled to your desired 'doneness' drain and place cooked eggs into really cold water bath, then gently roll against the side (or bottom) of your stainless steel sink, ensuring the entire egg shell has been cracked.
Then just slide the shell off the egg!
    SIMPLES!
If you're cooking a lot of eggs to be shelled, you can place the rolled/cracked eggs back into the cold water bath until you've rolled/cracked them all, the remove all the shells.
