Stock internals on a D series are good for 200-220 whp then you’re “knocking”on Boom Towns door
I have experienced this first hand lol 230whp on a bone stock D16Y7, i think it lasted like 2 months! not sure how

@@StoneCoolds I mean its possible out of a D series, and with all the fail safes you can do now with tuning its possible, but it's a ticking time bomb, it's by no mean conservative
my buddy has a stock internal d16 (not sure which kind) running 315hp with just one of these turbo kits. it's tuned and super clean, and it pulls hard. it hasn't had any problems at 13psi for like 4 months

Duuude i told you that you absolutely 100% have to run that oil restrictor in those eBay turbos or they blow sky-high! Do some research for yourself or listen to your comments
@KustomGraphics206 if you remember back in the early 2000s they had a big issue with these turbos blowing the bearings out because of overpressurization from the oil and not running the oil restrictor in the law. I don't think somebody would purposefully want to blow something up regardless of how shity it is just to blow it up, if it's a good engine and it makes good power I doubt he will try to blow it up on purpose
@@RR-cg2rq you said is 100% true I think everybody is wanting to see somebody do something different with a Honda Civic but doing a b swap H swap K swap or any of that has literally been done to death on CZcams. What I would really like to see if somebody take one of these d16s do a mini me or Frankenstein build with full internals built to the hilt to take all the horsepower and see somebody really stretch one of them to their limits to see when they break

You are incorrect 100%... journal bearing turbos love high oil pressure. Whats making the car smoke is the amount of crankcase pressure the engine is building due to the boosted cylinder pressures and stock 200k mile bottom end with factory rings and pcv valve setup. Without proper crankcase venting any honda engine will smoke even with a high dollar precision turbo. Restricting the oil pressure to an ebay turbo is certain death. Do some research of your own. I am in no way trying to start a fight so dont take it negative please. Just do some real world testing of your own and you will be spouting the truth in no time at all.
@KustomGraphics206 did you mean crankcase pressure? I hope so because if not you are wrong. Journal bearing turbos love high oil pressures. Hang out at a reputable shop long enough and you will understand.

Amazon for the suspension my dude. Bought all my acdelco replacements for super cheap. Like same as off brand cheap, if not cheaper. Dont go ebay off brands on the suspension for your safety and well-being 😂 nice build tho brother. Definatly subbing.

Get your hands on some spray glue you can spray glue the front tires on the Dyno
