Same exact turbo I got off Amazon and I love it. .50 is the cool side size .63 is the hot side size.
I got this same kit in my k20a3 made 325whp at 9 psi, and I have been running this kit for about 4 years now and still goin strong

The wastegate actually looks really great quality compared to cx racing stuff.
And cx racing normally is the high end ebay stuff.
Also you need to run that fuel pump and that weird electronic box (probably to trick the ecu into running rich for boost.), you're scared it could be sketchy, but in the end, you said you wanted to blow it up. Anyways I actually doubt this would fail.

Does the eg not turn over at all when you try to start it? If not than it could be your clutch safety switch, I had this problem on my ek and I just jumped the clip to the clutch safety switch with a paper clip and it started right up
