This was awesome. Not only the sheer talent of the choreography and musicality, but the music choices were right up my nerdy girl alley. Fab stuff!
The second one was from The Lord of the Rings. First they created the shape of the ring itself and then they did the Eye of Sauron.

The second one was "The Eye of Sauron" from "Lord of the Rings" The Ohio State University is only 10 minutes away from my apartment. The Ohio State University Stadium can have over 110,000 people in the stands during a game! The Ohio State University Marching Band is known as "The Best Damn Band in the Land!" The Hollywood Blockbuster Tribute is my favorite performance! You should react to The Ohio State University Marching Band "British Invasion" Tribute when they performed at Wembly in London during the NFL demonstration games!
As a Michigan fan, it is hard to admit but this is an excellent performance by the OSU marching band. I am not sure if Michigan did a retaliatory show though. However, Michigan has now won two games in a row, so we do have bragging rights until the 4 Saturday in November.
If the Michigan retaliates, it would be at Michigan’s home game against Ohio. Their band would not be at the same caliber but they have other ways!

They are *the* best. Their London tribute show in London is good, too.
One of you guys commented that those were the players walking away from the field as the Ohio State band marched onto the field. That was actually the away/visiting team's band. Often times, the away team will bring its band and they will perform pre-game and halftime.

Not likely. The big leagues only want the big name performers with lots of gold chains or controversial performances. They have has some decent big names in the past. When they do get top talent that isn't all bling (like Bruno Mars) it is all about laser & light shows on the field. So a college band is straight out.
@hardtackbeans9790 It wasn't always that way. There were marching bands in the past; in fact, the Redskins and the Colts had superior marching bands. But times changed.
Amazing! I'd like to find a video which shows how they design, learn and practice those formations.I think I 'get' geometric patterns, but that looks like a different league. Nice one.

The whole operation is quite spectacular and to have that many people working in complete unison, all remembering where to march and to continue playing is very impressive.
I find it hard to remember what I did yesterday.

The dinosaur ate a man dressed up as a Michigan player (our biggest rivals) than spit his hat out. even though we were not playing Michigan. They usually do something to get at Michigan every show.
This band is amazing. They have new routines for every game & they have to learn that, while also learning & playing new music as well...all while marching in weird formations. And they were playing University of MIchigan, their 'rival'. Michigan state are green & white, UofM is Maize & blue.
High School Band Field Shows are good too but College Band Field Shows are amazing. ❤
Superman, Lord of the Rings (ring) then the great eye of Sauron, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Pirates of the Caribbean. Really good! Hard to see the band though on your background.
I've been wishing for years that the Superbowl would have a marching band for the halftime show.
The Super Bowl did indeed have marching bands in the early years. In fact, the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Colts had the best marching bands in the NFL at the time. But times changed. Not necessarily for the better, especially when one sees THIS.

Actually, just watching their pregame March on, where they do their ‘fight’ song & then spell out Ohio, in script. Is worth a look!

There is a Michigan State but Ohio States big rival is the University of Michigan. While all schools have marching bands, Ohio State is probably considered the best because of the formations they do. Don't know if you did a reaction from Wembley (British Invasion) but that was excellent too.

My high school marching band was involved with Bruno Mars' Super Bowl performance. They weren't used in the traditional sense, but since they know how to read drills and take directions on a football field, they were used to carry lights as part of the field light show. The music department was paid. These skills do come in handy.
They never cease to amaze me!
Whoever designs the routines is a genius in their own right.
The coordination of playing and marching in formation has to be incredibly difficult.
They did a 9/11 tribute and a tribute to the British Invasion music of the 60s in Wimbledon (I believe it was there)at the NFL pregame show in England.
I think I've recommended these before.

@BritPopsReact Tom Cruise saw it and gifted the band with a special screening of Top Gun Maverick. They've gotten shout before too. I think Tom Hanks tweeted about it when they did one, Michael Jackson family did, Brian May posted about the Queen tribute. They did a combined half time show with Iowa's marching band this last year that was an Elton John tribute he posted something about it on his Instagram the list goes on. The marching band is precious here in Ohio

When the video first started the band at the bottom of the screen was the University of Michigan band. Being the visiting school they perform first and had just wrapped up their presentation. This is the biggest rivalry in College Football and is the last regular season game every year on the last Saturday in November. These 2 schools really dislike each other with a passion. If you watch more OSU band videos you might want to check out their Wembley stadium -British invasion show. It is very good. FYI clarification you watched the Texas A & M (Agriculture and Mechanical) University Aggie Marching Band not the University of Texas Longhorn Marching Band they are 2 separate schools. Yes, having attended OSU, I am comfortable saying that it is the only university on the planet whose mascot is a poisonous nut...
They also did a great show for the 2015 London NFL game and it was all about you Brits .
They do a great Queen tribute too. 😁
They have six days to learn these routines according to some members.
I believe that this was a show for the Penn State Game a number of years ago. Ohio State and the University of Michigan (Michigan State is a different school, both in the Big 10 conference)
Ohio State and Michigan (called the team up north by Ohio State Fans and team) is huge rival and THE GAME each year is considered by many people to be the biggest rivalry in all of sports. Michigan "hits" may be done by the band anytime not just at Michigan games.
No other band in the country has been able to duplicate the kind of shows Ohio State provides. Other bands such as Texas A & M are well known for procession marching, but nothing like Ohio State.
Two big talking heads and precious little of what they're looking at.
I think you would enjoy the tribute of Michael Jackson too ... czcams.com/video/RhVAga3GhNM/video.html Don't know if you noticed but... before Superman saves the falling building, he backs up in a 'phonebooth' .... notice the red ribbon with the word 'phone' on it to show that Clark Kent goes into the phone booth to change into Superman. Haven't heard any reactor mention it. The second, Lord of the Rings and the Eye of Sauran. The third, Harry Potter (his inials and the 'Z' scar) and the Quidditch game (with the Golden Snitch that Harry must catch) flying around the field until Harry catches it. Then Jurassic Park with the T-Rex eating the people. (BTW, there has always been a huge competition between Michigan and Ohio and the person that the T-Rex goes to eat, is a person wearing the Michigan jersey). Then Pirates of the Caribbean with the Ohio ship sinking the Michigan ship (two rivals in football). This is amazing.

Michigan or as we buckeyes fans call them "school up north" as they don't deserve to be called by their name and do not come back with anything good...lol. it's a great rivalry though. Go Bucks!!! Enjoying the channel so far. OSU band does have a great top gun tribute and Nintendo game tribute that you may want to check out.
Back in the day Michigan and Ohio Almost had a Civil War over the lake port of Toledo, the Gov. stepped in, gave Toledo to Ohio and the upper peninsula (which should belong to Wisconsin), to Michigan. Ohio & Michigan has never been on good relations since.
Oh, we're polite (mostly) to each other and many people have friends/relatives that cross the border, but if Ohio can beat the Snot out of Michigan at something it's quite alright with Buckeye Nation.

TBDBITL Pronounced Tabiddle. Stands for THE BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND. OSU is the pinnacle of university bands. The sunk ship was Michigan a private school, when you hear state after, that means a public school. There IS a Michigan State, they are the Spartans, the Wolverines and OSU have the biggest rivalry in college football, so big in fact, there is a trademark on the term "The Game" and no one else can use it. Much like the Superbowl

Fun video to react to but you need to adjust your volumes. The video was loud and your comments were kind of lost as a result. You usually have a much better balance between the sound of the video and your vocal recording. The movie after Superman was The Lord of the Rings and they created Eye of Sauron.

I love you guys' reaction, but between the type of screen you used for the video and you guys moving, we could barely see anything.

It is funny to see all the fans going to the concessions at half time and seeing what they miss. Many of the bands put on a good show & a few of the big schools have top notch musicians as well. I don't think OSU lets just any old hack be in their band. Texas A&M play the same tunes over & over (I think) but they are also top musicians. LOL!! I don't think Michigan cares much to have a retort. They probably stand up in the bleacher & make rude gestures to OSU band on the field. Too FUNNY!
At Ohio State fans do not go to the concessions at half time - they stay and watch the Band!
I normally love your reactions, but this one was by far your worst. Both of you were distracted. You missed half of what was happening because you were either looking away, walking away, or talking over the narrator's description of the field. I've never seen you two disrespect the source material as much as you did in this reaction. I will continue watching your reaction videos in the hopes that you learn from this disaster.

Rubbish - the USC Band is all flash and no substance. They can’t play worth a damn, they are too busy vogueiing in their sunglasses.
No that teamup north sucks. That is why their ship sank.
