The only thing you need to find out is which tribe you are descendants of . A Jews belongs to 3 tribes only; Judah, Benjamin and Levi. The lost ten tribes of Israel are not Jews. The professor is wrong to say that the lost ten tribes of Israel are Jews. They are not. Simply put is that Jews no doubt are Israelites but from the nation of Judah of Judea. While the majority ( ten tribes) were never and are not Jews but Hebrew Israelites. The Torah and in the Bible says that the nation of Judah ( the Jews) were at war with the nation of Israel ( ten tribes). As soon as God separated Judah ( Jews) from Israel they became the nation of Judah of Judea. It’s king Rehoboam the son of king Solomon wanted to make war with Israel but God tell him don’t go to make war with your sister Israel.1 kings 12:23-24.

I think this is an honest assessment but you're leaving out the topic of conversation that some are loudly, albeit foolishly approaching, concerning White Jewish Americans.
Can Black America point out that Jewish America is less than 2.5% of the population yet are the wealthiest of all ethnic groups? Jewish Americans are said to make up 50% of all American billionaires and 33% of all lawyers. Depending on what statistics you go by, Jewish Americans own or control at about 25 to 40% of Hollywood, music distribution, television, multimedia and radio
Granted, Kanye's outbursts are like a sawed-off shotgun blast and Kyrie Irving's DNA conversations are very naive, can the things that I've just said here, be considered antisemitic because of what they may point out?

Lets talk about Moses, who we can agree was a Hebrew Israelite.
Biblically, Egypt is referred to as the land of Ham. Abraham left Ur and arrived in Egypt with 70 people where I believe his wife and sons already lived. Ham in Hebrew and Egyptian means burnt, black or hot.
    Ham had four “sons”:
    1 Cush (Ethiopians, Cushites Nubians)
    2. Mizraim (Egyptians-Kemet)
    3. Phut (Ancient Somalia)
    4. Cannan (The inhabitants of Israel)
All of those nations are located on the geological tectonic plate of Africa.
Now, according to the bible, Moses was born a Hebrew. He was an Israelite from the tribe of Levi (Exodus 2:1-3). He spent 40 years in the house of Pharaoh (Acts 7:23) and was raised as the Pharaoh's grandson.
Exodus 2: 10 "And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water".
Scholars say the Pharaoh who was on the throne of Egypt at the time of Moses' birth, was Pharaoh Seti I. He was the father of Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great.
George Rawlinson, an English author wrote a book entitled 'History of Egypt". Page 252, he gives a description of Seti I.
He states: "Seti's face was thoroughly African. He had a stormy face with a depressed flat nose, thick lips and heavy chin."
Moses had the same physical characteristics because again, he was raised in the house of Pharaoh, as the grandson of Pharaoh, when he ordered all Hebrew males to be killed at birth. If the Israelites were a white-skinned people, Moses would not have survived (secretly) in the house of Pharaoh among black-skinned Egyptians for 40 years, without being noticed.
Furthermore, after giving the decree (himself) to kill all Hebrew males, how could Pharaoh face and rule over his people, if he knowingly had one living in his house with all the rights and privileges of his own family?
Moses survived 40 years in the palace of Pharaoh because he was a black man just as the Egyptians were.
Pharaoh looked into the eyes of Moses as a baby and thought this was his own flesh and blood. He looked into the eyes of Moses as a teenager and thought this was his own flesh and blood. He looked into the eyes of Moses as a young man in his 20's and 30's and thought this was his own flesh and blood. Pharaoh saw Moses grow into a man of 40 and he thought this was his own flesh and blood grandson.
Just as Joseph's brothers and the Canaanite couldn't tell the Hebrews from the Egyptians. Pharaoh couldn't tell either, or Moses would have been killed instantly.
So....what color do you think the B8blical Hebrews were?...

The Doctor mentions the Ridbaz and Rabbi Ovadia of Bartenurah [who actually redeemed two of these Falashmora , as he writes to his brother in his letter]. And this was one of the main Halachic reasoning used by chief Rabbi R’ Ovadiah Yosef Zt”l .
There are two main theories to their origin. The first being since they revere King Solomon clearly in their oral tradition ( as the Doctor points out ) it is possible that they were the effect of the Queen of Sheba after she returns to her land which possibly was in Ethiopia. She adopts the Jewish religion and this was the result.
2nd that since they have the same exact bible written in Ge’ez which they share with the Ethiopian church, it is highly possible that they are a break off from the Ethiopian church . This was done by one of their leaders that claimed that the later books of the Nazarenes contradict the Old Testament. And they stayed true to the original teachings of the Torah snd called themselves Beta israel . This to differentiate between the other sects that claimed a new Israel.

The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabteca. The descendants of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
So Sheba is mentioned by the descendants of Kush usually attributed to Ethiopia.
It seems that Sheba had roots on both sides of the Red Sea. The language of Amharic is semitic . The features of the Ethiopian is a mix of Kush from the children of Cham and Yokton from the children of Shem.

The genetic markers that indicate shared Jewish ancestry (all descended from The Levant) are the same for all ethnic Jews whether they are Sephardim, Ashkenazim or Mizrahim. It has nothing to do with Europe as the common DNA among all ethnic Jews that is looked for during testing is from the Middle East, not Europe. The elderly, dignified gentleman, dressed in magnificent vestments, spoke beautiful English and recounted a seminal moment in antiquity when Christianity first took root in Ethiopia. The gentleman stated that the first local Christians in Ethiopia were individuals converted from Judaism. Evidently, the Christianisation of Ethiopia was not fully embraced by everyone and left in place a significant number of these Jews, the Beta Israel community. B"H.

If I have my facts correct Noah had bright eyes (which could have meant anything from hazel to green), I also gather that he looked like a nephalem which if I'm not mistaken were white. Being that Noah was most likely in Africa and was married to an Ethiopian I would think that he was an albino African like Sanele Xaba. With that said, all of their children would have been of African descent which means they all had some form of brown color. Centuries and may millenia later the color began to change through warfare(rape), marriage, and climate. Just very strange to how Africa is the cradle of civilization but people seem to never acknowledge that these original people were very rich in color, people act like Ham was the only dark-skinned son that Noah had.

If a Jew is someone who was born to a Jewish mother, then why did the Eternal not call Sarah, Rebekah, Leah but Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Why in the sacred books is the call always to the patriarchs? In my DNA tests, I have several Jewish paternal lines that are the most studied by geneticists. And almost none maternal because it's a little more complicated to detect. I am not concerned that any Jew will accept me into their community. My question is: doesn't the Eternal know that I am his son, even though he put his sign in my DNA?
Here in Brazil, there was a soap opera about 20 years ago in which a boy from a wealthy family was kidnapped as a baby and raised by bandits until adulthood, when he himself became a burglar. When I look at the history of my DNA and I see that all I had evidence that I am a descendant of the people who call themselves Jews were some habits of my late mother and that my DNA corroborates this evidence, I feel like that fictional character who was kidnapped and completely lost his identity. So I have the consolation of thinking that the Eternal knows that I am his son and has taken care of me all my life, even though I am not living as his son.

The Elephant is the emblem and a clan name of the tribe of Gad ( Gatsheni/Kechene/ Mngadi)
I am glad today that a temple of Israel was discovered within the areas of the Great Elephant 🐘.
We currently live in Southern Africa and we are known as the Nguni ( Without a sin) nation.
Unfortunately I've lately discovered that the Throne of David which is the Throne of Israel is the same Throne of the Zulu kingdom .
This is because of the Throne have these three titles.
    1.Bayede ( Vayetze)
2.Wena WeNdlovu ( Elephant) which is Gad.
3.Ndabezitha which is where the Name David was derived from by the European 🇪🇺 converts.
The Most convincing evidence to me is that all kings ( tribal kings within the kingdom) are titled Ndabezitha of which reminds me of Hezekiel 37.
So,this is why my hope about you is renewed.

If Judaism is based on Jacob who we are told was renamed Israel, then one's Israelite Status would have to be patrilineal. Furthermore, Jacob had 12 sons and 1 daughter. We are not told that the daughter's children were Israelites. We know that the children of the 12 sons are the ones that make up the Israelites. We also know that they did not marry Israelite women since there were none. All descendants of Abraham are not Israelites but Hebrews since Abraham was not an Israelite or a Jew. There is a lot of conflation going on when you keep calling all 12 tribes Jews because only the tribe of Juda would be called Judeans and not Jews. One correction and it is a fact that the northern kingdom of Israel are never called Jews in the Bible. Joseph was not a Jew, Dan was not a Jew , Ephraim was not a jew, ect. The term Jew is the nickname for the tribe of Judah and when the tribe of Benjamin and Levi joined the tribe of Judah after the division of Israel, these three tribes became the Jews and the nation , house, or kingdom of Judah of Judea. The lost ten tribes of the nation of Israel are never called Jews. If you read Genesis 48 it was Manasseh and Ephraim the sons of Joseph whom Jacob adopted before he die and inherited them the name Israel. And it’s Manasseh was to become a great nation and Ephraim a company of nations they were to possess the gates of their enemies ect. In Genesis 49 Jacob tells rest of his sons where in the world they weee to settle as nations. What it means is that the lost ten tribes of the northern kingdom of Israel are independent nations today. One of the clues is their national seals, for example the descendants of the tribe of Manasseh who was to become a great nation is the USA. One of our national seals which is found in the dollar bill is name the seal of Manasseh which is the pyramid with the eye. Why a pyramid of Egypt , that is because Manasseh son of Joseph was half Egyptian, half Hebrew. Ephraim who was to become a company of nations; is Great Britain and its commonwealth nations the likes of Canada, Australia, South Africa ect… Great Britain national seal is the lion and a unicorn holding the crown just like it’s mentioned in the Bible for the tribe of Ephraim. It’s is the USA and Great Britain this two brothers who have possess or own the majority of the world ports and canals; like the strait of Gibraltar, the Panama Canal the Suez Canal, ect…. Now what about the other eight tribes of the lost ten tribes of Israel. Reuben is France, Dan is Denmark, Belgium , Sweden, Scotland, Ireland , Switzerland Iceland. God promise Abraham Isaac and Jacob that they were going to fathers of many nations, not just one nation; modern day state of Israel who are a small number of the Jews from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi. A Jew, no doubt are Israelites but only a part 25 percent of all Israelites. But the truth is that 75 percent of Israelites ( ten tribes) never and are not Jews. Here is another truth is that the descendants of kings David have not stop being kings over Israel which we know it was Ephraim and Manasseh who inherited the name Israel and not the tribe of Judah ( Jews) so after the death of king Zedekiah of the kingdom of Judah of Judea the prophet Jeremiah took the crown and and the king s Daugthers to Ireland then Scotland finally Great Britain where it has remained. Now this kings are from the tribe of Judah; they aré Jews from the line of Sarah. David to Zedekiah was from the line of Pharez. Sarah and Pharez were twin sons of the patriarch Judah. So when small groups of people in the world say they are Jews from one of the lost ten tribes of Israel is incorrect. They are simply Jews from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi. Read Genesis 48 and 49

Wait a minute just because, they didn't speak "Hebrew" doesn't mean they are illiterate, it's like there are multiple types of intelligences; likewise, there are multiple types of literacy skills. The fact they read "Ge'ez" a semitic language that predates Hebrew doesn't mean they were illiterate. Perhaps Abramson should try and read "Ge'ez." Had it not been for "Ge'ez" which preserved the original Book of Enoch transcript compared to the translated third book of Enoch in Hebrew makes one wonder how could Abramson make such a claim. It appears Abramson is not well researched regarding Ethiopian language. What a back handed comment. His comment bring to mind "[w]hen a fool starts an argument, he is asking for a beating. When a fool speaks, he is ruining himself; he gets caught in the trap of his own words" (Proverbs 18:6-7). I am scratching my head at something you wrote. The mass conversions of Jews to Christianity in 1492 was In Spain. Morocco was certainly NOT part of the Spanish Empire, and was in fact then as today, rulled by Muslims.
The reason that aprox 40% of the Jewish population in Spain Converted toe Catholicism was because the Church and the Crown and passed a law that Kicked out Jews from Spain. If you wished to remain you would have to convert.
It is interesting today we find (because of DNA testing) comunities in Puerto Rico, New Mexico and Colorado who are showing up as being Jewish. After studying the issues it turns out these communities married within their own communities, and it turns out these were Jews who had converted in 1492 and in order to hide fled Spain and settled in the New World. Many of these people kept customs that they had no idea what it was, such as lighting candles on friday nights, or kept some item which can be traced back to some Jewish Custom and had no idea why they were doing this.
However again the Jews of Morocco did not convert to Islam and those muslims who lived there did not convert to Judaism. So your information is certainly flawed.

It is also sometime called BC, before Christ. But BCE is more politically correct, since not everybody accepts Jesus as Christ.

You have received so many “thank you”, and I’m providing an additional. In this age we have the benefit of DNA testing. I’m in my mid 50’s, and I’ve always felt different, even in my younger years when I attended Catholic schools. I would not accept the idea of Jesus being “G-D, so I began referring to him as my “brother”, only because, in my 5 year old mind, he couldn’t be G-d. Fast forward to my age being mid 50’s. I took a DNA test and found that I have a certain percentage of DNA associated with being Jewish. My family originates from Northern Africa, Western Africa, Majorca, the Canary Islands, China, Vietnam, Spain, Portugal and Eastern Europe. My parents are from Puerto Rico! I’m fascinated by this education that you’re providing and researching my own history. I’ve also learned that hundreds of people currently residing in Puerto Rico, share my DNA, including the Jewish DNA, and at percentages higher than my own.

    אודות הכושית אשר לקח
Rashi and Targum Onkelos [following the midrash]explain it over Tziporah. And although she was a Midianite and not Ethiopian, the jest of the verse is she that she was exceptional and unique as an Ethiopian dark skinned person would stick out between lighter skinned.
Similarly we find in mishnaic hebrew אתרוג הכושי.
But there was definitely a tradition of Moshe marrying a Kushit woman.
In Josephus antiquities book 2 chapter 10 …..”Tharbis was the daughter of the king of the Ethiopians: she happened to see Moses as he led the army near the walls, and fought with great courage; and admiring the subtility of his undertakings, and believing him to be the author of the Egyptians' success, when they had before despaired of recovering their liberty, and to be the occasion of the great danger the Ethiopians were in, when they had before boasted of their great achievements, she fell deeply in love with him; and upon the prevalency of that passion, sent to him the most faithful of all her servants to discourse with him about their marriage. He thereupon accepted the offer, on condition she would procure the delivering up of the city; and gave her the assurance of an oath to take her to his wife; and that when he had once taken possession of the city, he would not break his oath to her. No sooner was the agreement made, but it took effect immediately; and when Moses had cut off the Ethiopians, he gave thanks to God, and consummated his marriage, and led the Egyptians back to their own land.”

    Scattered Hebrew/Israelite Tribes?
For those that claim that they are - or believe to be one of the Tribes of Israel whether
lost and/or scattered, then it would be very beneficial to believe in The Messiah now...
and not to wait. Believe in The Messiah now, because it will be much more difficult
later. The Messiah is the same Jesus (Yeshua) of Nazareth.
One of the offices of The Messiah is/was the Servant of The Lord according to the
    Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 53...
    Isaiah 53:10-12)
"Yet it pleased THE LORD to bruise HIM; he hath put HIM to grief: when thou shalt
make HIS SOUL an OFFERING FOR SIN, he shall see HIS SEED, he shall prolong
HIS DAYS, and the pleasure of THE LORD shall prosper in HIS HAND.
He shall SEE of the TRAVAIL of HIS SOUL, and shall be satisfied: by HIS KNOWLEDGE
shall MY RIGHTEOUS SERVANT JUSTIFY many; for HE shall BEAR their INIQUITIES.
Therefore will I divide HIM a portion with the great, and HE shall divide the spoil with the
strong; because HE hath poured out HIS SOUL unto DEATH: and HE was NUMBERED
with the TRANSGRESSORS; and HE BARE the SIN of MANY, and made INTERCESSION
    for the TRANSGRESSORS."
As The SERVANT of THE LORD, he CONQUERED these three enemies:
    1) The Devil; 2) Death; and 3) Hell.
The Messiah died for sinners and for their sins: Jesus of Nazareth is The Messiah. If you
could believe in The Messiah now, then you ARE part of THE CHURCH. It does not
matter if you are an Israelite or not, because if you truly believe now - then you are saved!
If you say that you are an Israelite or Hebrew and you don't believe that Jesus of Nazareth
is indeed The Messiah, and if The Church happens to get RAPTURED - then if you truly
are an Israelite/Hebrew - you will have to go through THE 70th WEEK spoken by The
    Prophet Daniel in Chapter 9.
We are in the period between the 69th and 70th WEEKS: the 69th WEEK ended when
Messiah died about 2000 years ago. This period which we are currently experiencing is
called the 'Ecclesia' period or the 'Calling Out' period, or 'The Church' period. This
period will end when The Church is Raptured (Caught Out/Up).
During the 70th WEEK when The Church would have been Raptured, the Professing
Church will still remain; and it will not be a 'GOOD WEEK' for them. The Tribes of
Israel or the Hebrews - TWO-THIRDS will be wiped out, and ONE-THIRD will be
saved, but will go THROUGH THE FIRE!
    Zechariah 13:8,9)
"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, TWO PARTS therein shall be
CUT OFF and DIE; but THE THIRD shall be left therein.
And I will bring THE THIRD part THROUGH THE FIRE, and will REFINE them as
SILVER is REFINED, and will TRY THEM as GOLD is TRIED: THEY shall CALL on
MY NAME, and I WILL HEAR THEM: I will say, It is MY PEOPLE: and THEY shall say,
    THE LORD is MY GOD."
If you could believe RIGHT NOW, then you could be SAVED, and WILL NOT have to go
through that 70th WEEK. Believe on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and be SAVED!
    2Corinthians 6:2)
"(For he saith, I have heard thee in a TIME ACCEPTED, and in the DAY OF SALVATION
have I SUCCOURED THEE: behold, NOW is the ACCEPTED TIME; behold, NOW is
    THE DAY OF SALVATION.)"
