1996 993 RUF Turbo R

This 1996 993 Turbo received a complete Turbo R conversion done by an authorized RUF dealer in 2004. No expense was spared to create the ultimate twin-turbo 993. The RUF Turbo R program includes bigger turbos, custom ECU, and exhaust, which bumps the horsepower up to 490HP. The aesthetics are also enhanced by new front and rear RUF bumpers, 19 inch RUF wheels, and RUF fully adjustable suspension. One of the best features is the signature RUF sport seats that “hug” you as you throwback in your seat when this beast is at full boost! It comes with service history, RUF conversion receipts, and a letter from RUF acknowledging the build.

MEGA!!!!!!! hands down the most bueatiful car ever made!!!! RUF as a company is so outstanding and special. what other car brand let a tuner change thier cars and they actually stand by them and provided them some of the tools they used to become the brand they are now. Alois and his family put thier whole lives into these cars and they are finally getting the accolades they deserve. these cars are selling at close to million for some. the new era of carbon monocoque cars sell out as soon as they are annouced for 850k. outstanding people building exceptional cars. im glad someone of your caliber has been tasked with passing a few on. ive been a RUF fan since '85 before the yellowbird. absolutely a dream to even see videos much less a real one some day. my brother refuses to alter his 20k guards 993 turbo, i guess i can understand but if if were mine she'd be in Alois' hands already. thanks for the RUF content i search Y.T. every day for it. cheers

I saw one of these, TWICE, i believe it was the same Turbo R about 10 mins away from my house in Austin, Texas. I was out, riding my BMX bike one day and I passed by the "Independent" Porsche mechanic shop and there it was sitting outside a Black RUF Turbo R and it had a Valentine One radar detector mounted on its windshield. And I said... DAMN.
Then, several months later, I saw the very same Black Turbo R wuth the Valentine One radar detector, in an industrial complex not far from my house. I was like, "This guy works over here"???
